Motors for Special Drives
Martinek, Radek ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This project solves electric motor, which are used in specific drives. The aim is to show you the use of electric motor, then direct current motor, shielded pole motor and subsequent upgrade of direct current motor. I focused mainly on DC motors. I performed measurements on several motors APS Světlá nad Sázavou. Then I conducted a design to upgrade the wiper motor. I conducted innovation in the simulation program FEMM, where I was able to achieve a reduction motorcycle while maintaining performance. Benefit from the work of this enhancement is the possibility of small DC motors and possibility of subsequent cooperation with APS Světlá nad Sázavou.
Low power electrical machines
Martinek, Radek ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The master’s thesis introduces various types of electric motors. Overall, it is divided into 6 chapters, which the first deals with special type of electric motors, namely: permanent magnet DC motor with coreless winding, piezoelectric motor and three phase induction motor with solid rotor. For all of these motors are introduced principles, types, advantages, disadvantages and applications. The second part of thesis deals with perspective types of motors, namely: single phase induction motor and reluctance motor. For all of these motors are introduced principles, types, advantages, disadvantages and applications. The third chapter deals with analysis parameters of single phase induction motor. The analysis is performed on a borrowed motor from ATAS company by measurement and verification using simulation program Ansys Maxwell. The fourth part discusses the possibilities of increasing the effectiveness of borrowed electric motor. The following is chapter five, which deals with increasing the efficiency of the motor by changing metal sheets. Results are verified by simulations with Ansys Maxwell and measurements on sample of electric motor. The last part presents electric motor design with new selected electric sheets with lower specific losses, but also with lower magnetic induction.

Estate dress of the Catholic priesthood and its image in the visual arts. History - Changes - Meaning
Martinek, Radek ; Royt, Jan (advisor) ; Hlobil, Ivo (referee) ; Jonová, Jitka (referee)
In terms of the current rapidly growing investigative interest in the history of clothing (whether according to seasons, professional groups or geographic areas) the estate dress of Christian priesthood stands rather aside. It is caused also by the fact that within the overall history of clothing this subject represents a very specific group characterized by uninterrupted continuity, rich symbolism affirmed not only by the church regulations, but also by a local tradition. The theological teaching on priesthood and priestly estate formed as early as in the early centuries, nevertheless it did not remain a mere teaching, but it also had a practical impact on the life of a clergyman and his surroundings. The priest became the guarantor of social order and its associated values. Thus, a visible distinction between the priest and the rest of the community got even a symbolic dimension. This dissertation traces the ways in which the teaching on priesthood and priestly mission changed in the Christian community on the background of the general Church history. The priestly dress clearly communicates how a priest was perceived by a community, by the Church (or more precisely by the canon law), as well as how he perceived himself. All this is compared with extant visual material and analysis of surviving...

Baroque liturgical textiles in the collections of the Episcopal Diocese of České Budějovice
Vácha, Jiří ; Royt, Jan (advisor) ; Daniel, Ladislav (referee) ; Martinek, Radek (referee)
v anglickém jazyce The book presents an array of woven patterned fabrics from church treasuries in the territory of the Diocese of České Budějovice. The examples provided originate in the period spanning from the 16th to the 18th century, and they represent only a small selection of the surviving collections. The focal point consists of a magnificent collection of textiles from the 18th century, documenting the development of the individual historical spheres of decors overlapping into corresponding variants of design. The variability of patterns pertaining to this century is unusually high, and it combines a large number of sources of inspiration with roots in exotic overseas countries. The catalogue entries are furnished with brief technological analyses that offer an insight into the textile production of the respective periods and, at the same time, they provide researchers with a deeper understanding of the individual fabrics on display. Although the area of the Diocese of České Budějovice to a certain degree exceeds the boundaries of the Region of South Bohemia, the collections examined were, in their majority, imported from western European countries manufacturing weaving products of world renown. The catalogue outlines the historically significant import of luxury goods reflecting a variety...
Liturgical textiles and methods of its presentation

Liturgical Textiles and Preservation of Them
Jonová, Jitka ; Martinek, Radek ; Grill Janatová, Markéta ; Kuldová, Marie ; Nachtmannová, Alena ; Vavřinová, Valburga ; Piatrová, Alena ; Hasalová, Eva
The care of historical liturgical textiles is often not given the attention it deserves. Liturgical textiles represent an important group where historical textiles have been preserved to this day. Three basic areas can be created for the care of historical liturgical textiles: Interest and enlightenment/ education of the public The historical liturgical textile, although no longer fulfilling its function (it is not used in the liturgy), remains an important cultural heritage of the Church. The actual place where it is usually preserved are the sacristies, oratories or parishes, where, however, it does not always have the appropriate conditions. Although according to the requirements of the church and the state monument care it is desirable to protect historical liturgical textiles (although it is not listed as a part of parish property and should be kept in inventory), sometimes it is destroyed (incineration, improper storage, etc.) or even sold. In this case, it should be kept in mind that this is an illegal disposal, in which irreversible losses occur (historically valuable liturgical textiles are destroyed), moreover, in the case of sale not only that the parish property is being defrauded, and the priests are not always able to estimate the true value and textiles are sold below cost and can later be seen on online sales portals at a much higher price. Parish clergy are often overwhelmed and do not see historical liturgical textiles as something important to which they should pay more attention. It should therefore be recalled that the vast majority of it is the property of the parish, etc., which cannot be disposed of arbitrarily, and in addition also consecrated objects that deserve respect. Sacral art, including historical liturgical textiles, is the cultural heritage of the Church that needs to be protected. Art has not only a liturgical function, but also an evangelistic one. When dealing with historical liturgical textiles, it is desirable to contact experts, the relevant diocesan conservation center, specialist workplaces of a museum or monument institute. Inventory and storage Historical textiles should be kept in the inventory of the relevant parish (monastery, etc.) or state institutions in the appropriate forms. Inventory records together with archival documents can help to shed light on the identification, but also the closer identification (material, origin, etc.) of the monument. It is not possible to demand that the conditions of historical textiles in the specialized depositories of various institutions would be ensured in parishes. Unfortunately, there is often not enough space even in specialized diocesan depositories. Especially in the case of "commonly preserved parameters", it is desirable to store them in suitable places where they will not be undesirably damaged (temperature conditions, humidity, dust, insect damage, rodents). Restoration and presentation Restoration must be entrusted to appropriate experts. Historical liturgical textiles, as well as other sacral monuments, prove the cultural richness of the Church, which, however, has an irreplaceable pastoral and evangelistic mission. Particularly unused historical parameters can thus be part of short-term (eg Church Night) or long-term exhibitions. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the suitability of the method of their presentation and to document any loans. It must not be used inappropriately (clothing for the Three Kings collection, theatrical costume, etc.)
