Motivation of Adolescents to Self-Education and Self-Lead

This bachelor's work deals with motivation of adolescents for self-education and self- upbringing. Theoretical part contents definition of term "motivation" and explanation of its principals, further are described the important developmental turning-points of adolescent period mainly through characteristics that have an impact on formation of concerns for self- upbringing and self-education of adolescents. Research part of work forms qualitative research, whose aim was to stipulate, due to obtained results, which factors influence motivation of adolescents for self-education and self-upbringing. During research method of semi-structured interview and Grounded design theory were used. Research's results at the end of work, show that motivation of adolescents for self-educational and self-upbringing activities is influenced by internal and external factors, in various proportions. Strong external motivational elements are mainly parents and pressure from society, important internal elements are mainly desire to accomplish something, work on personality limits and have good job. Impact of those factors is than determined by adolescent's age, when the external factors are in the course of growing losing their power, while the internal are getting more adolescent's attention. Possibilities of social pedagogical support of single mothers

This thesis deals with the problems of single mothers. Its aim is to describe the characteristics and problems of single mothers in the contemporary social context and the possibilities of socio-educational support that are available for them. The above is based on expert sources described in the theoretical part. The practical part, points out the problems which selected single mothers mostly address in their lives and describe possibilities of socially pedagogical support, especially as regards the offer and awareness of their contribution. Based on qualitative research, which was carried out through five case studies, the most frequent problems are financial hardship, psychological, occupational and educational problems and finally housing problems. Regarding the socio-educational support programs are found very little awareness of their availability and offer. Contribution of the completed course was for participants of research very significant, especially in the sharing of experiences, training situations and assertive communication and the encouragement for further action.
Classroom's climate in alternative and traditional school

The climate of the class in a conventional and in an alternative basic school is the main topic of this master thesis. The master thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second one practical. It the theoretical part the main focus is dedicated to an explanation of the terms concerning the theme. The thesis deals with the methods of diagnostics in a class climate. The second part, the practical one, consists of the research held in the school classes of the conventional and alternative type. The research is considered to be a quantitative analysis and its research instrument is a questionnaire. The practical part is intended as a comparison between the climate in the both types of schools. The main goal of the master thesis is firstly to compare school climate in the alternative and conventional school. Secondly the master thesis should interpret the discovered information.
Psychohygiene in School and Application of Relaxation Techniques into the Teaching Process at Elementary School

This bachelor work is dealing with the question of psychohygiene in school and application of relaxation techniques into the teaching process at elementary schools. Mental hygiene here is primarily focused on the pupils. This work defines several basic terms regarding to the topic, for example: psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation techniques etc. Primary intention of this work is refer to the necessity to pursue greater attention to the psychohygiene of the pupils since elementary school, due to keeping their mental health in balance, learning how to relax, preventing mental problems, fatigue or exhaustion. Possible symptoms of mental unease of pupils and reasons why it is necessary to care about their mental health are stated in this work. Finally this work offers some relaxation techniques and practices. Part of this work is also suggestion of several relaxation techniques, which would be usable and suitable at school for integration into the educational process. THE ATTITUDES OF SOCIALLY EXLUDED FAMILIES TOWARDS EDUCATION Abstract This graduation thesis is concerned with the families living in the localities of social exclusion and with their attitudes towards education. The main purpose of this work is to study attitudes towards education and to design potential solutions to existing problems. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes the basic concepts related to the topic, deals with the problems concerning education of people with the social and cultural disadvantage and describes the characteristcs of the locality of social exlusion Náhlov. The practical part is divided into the research part which explores attitudes of Náhlov families towards education and the project part which describes an attempt to solve some of the existing problems.
Analysis of Drug Experiences of Upper Primary School Students from Selected Schools

THE ANALYSIS OF DRUG EXPERIENCE OF SECOND GRADE PUPILS FROM THE SELECTED ELEMETARY SCHOOLS Kováříková Monika Abstract This thesis is specifically concerned with pupils' drug use experiences, namely with alcohol, nicotine and illegal addictive substances. The theoretical and practical part focuses on older pupils (from 11 to 15 years of age) attending primary schools. The aim here is to investigate drug addiction among pupils of the 2nd grade of elementary school and its prevention. The research analyses the pupils more closely on particular cases at Vodičkova Elementary School and at the Primary School of Vítězslav Hálek Odolena Voda. The theoretical part looks into drug prevention efforts in general in the family, at school and in the city. Further, it characterises the age of adolescence and presents selected studies focused on the drug problems of adolescents. The empirical part consists of a qualitative research survey conducted as a multi-case study and supplemented by a quantitative probe. The methodology consists of interviews with the pupils, interview with the preventers, analysis of school documents and questionnaire survey. An Analysis of Children's Drawing as an Additional Tool for Assessing

This thesis deals with the options found in children's drawings symptoms that might help in uncovering school failure. The thesis consists of a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is based on knowledge of the literature and the praxis. The first chapter describes the causes and symptoms of school failure. The second chapter deals with drawings and by drawing tests. There is described the methods and techniques used in my research in the third chapter. The research section contains the survey whose main objective was to confirm certain features of the drawing containing the failed student. The results of the survey were achieved through drawings, "Questionnaire of self - conception pupils' school success" by Z. Matějček and M. Vágnerová, analysis of average marks and interviews with teachers. The aim is to characterize the symptoms of failed student in the drawing.
Children's group as an alternative to preschool education

This final dissertation deals with a newly-established pre-school institution, called the children's group. The aim of this work is to present the children's group as one of the forms of preschool education and to describe its function and a view as an alternative to other types of preschool educational care, mostly kindergarten. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is aimed at the targets of preschool education, motives to an establishment of children's groups, its neediness and functioning. Moreover, it compares the children's group with other forms of educational system, mostly kindergarten, and finds its boldest differences. The practical part deals with reasons that bring parents to place the child in children's group. Moreover, it is aimed at the reasons what parents anticipate from the children's group from the viewpoint of the future progress of their children. The work deals with the same topic also with parents of children attending kindergarten. Forest School Education

This bachelor thesis deals with education in forest preschools. This is a relatively new trend in preschool education in the Czech Republic and the aim of the thesis is to create a realistic and complete picture of this alternative. The thesis has two parts. The first part puts this pedagogical concept into the context of the current social situation, introduces its pedagogical bases and historical moments of its formation and spreading in the world. Further the theoretical part introduces the possible concepts and definitions of forest preschools, presents the basic principles, criteria, specifics and other related issues. At the end of the theoretical part the thesis deals with the Czech context of forest preschools. The practical part gives an insight into a possible case of the practice of forest preschool and presents research results in this area. The research focuses on the specific way of organizing of particular forest preschool, its pedagogical concept and also introduces the views of people involved.

The essay describes about the historical interest in children's drawing, which is the period of preschool age from the perspective of development psychology. This is the most important period when the child uses drawing as a communication and diagnostic tool. It also focuses on the use of children's drawings in the pedagogical-psychological diagnostics. It also include developmental traits of children's drawings, interpretation and drawing tests.
