The Disinformation as a Topic of Media Education and Its Integration into the Teaching Humanities

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of fake news, which is presented as a current and crucial issue of contemporary media discourse. In the initial part of the thesis, the notion of disinformation is described and embedded into the context of related media concepts. The thesis deals with introducing possible consequences of media and misinformation influence for individuals and society. Description of fake news uncovering and coping techniques is also presented. Furthermore, the topic of disinformation is introduced in the context of media and media education, and the influence of media, including fake news, on people and their process of socialization is depicted. Principles which lead the brain to believe misinformation are also covered. In the final part of the thesis, the topic of disinformation is described in relation to humanities and elementary and secondary education framework program. Moreover, the importance and current nature of the topic of fake news is accented in the thesis. The last chapter features educational projects and organizations which cover fake news and their detection, and which can be of use to students and teachers alike. Didactic walks to explore the city Benesov and its surroundings

The aim of the diploma thesis Didactic walks to explore the city Benešov and its surroundings is to create a set of materials for teaching the 4th and 5th grade students about the region and its surroundings within the educational area Man and His World. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the inclusion of the topic in the Framework Educational Programme, as well as theoretical bases of thesis - memory, cultural heritage, object learning and didactic walks as a form of teaching used in the practical part. It also deals with the city of Benešov in terms of natural, economic conditions and most of all cultural and historical development. The practical part deals with the design of three local history walks around the town of Benešov and its surroundings on selected topics. The aim of the walks is primarily to connect the curriculum with the history of the city and to guide pupils to build a relationship to their city and its monuments. Parts of the walks are activities before and after and also the go through the selected places with proposed tasks and worksheets. Diploma thesis stands on the theory of the modern information society, as is reflected by the modern philosophy. The first part analyzes the theoretical fragmentation of the world, education and technology. Education because of its dependence on different interests (mainly economic), technology for its threat of real destruction of personality but, on the other hand, its necessity for the society and its further development. Didactic processing of the theme European Union for teaching at lower secondary school

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of integration of the Czech republic to the European Union and its teaching in civic education at lower secondary school. By the initial analysis of the work I will set down the most important outcomes in curriculum the task of the didactic procedures. The topic is represented in the educational area Man in Society and in the cross- curricural subject Education Towards Thinking in European and Global Contexts contained in Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. Suggestions of didactic procedures are the main part of the thesis. They will follow the pupils' own experience and they should help them to realize the ifluence of membership in the European Union on their everyday life. Each topic begins with an introduction of the issue, which contains a brief theoretical background of the topic. The thesis will present selected actual problem solved at the European level, students will be led to critical thinking and expressing their own attitude based on orientation in legal and social aspects. The thesis will contain information background for teachers and specific didactic materials for pupils.
The Game in the Filosofical and Pedagogical Reflection and Use of Simulation Games in Social Sciences Teaching

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of human game, from several points of view, namely philosophical, pedagogical and didactic. The work is structured into three parts. The theoretical part deals with the philosophical considerations concerning the game phenomenon, where the game is based mainly on the ontological principle and the game theory, which is analyzed by selected authors. The second part then deals with the game used in the pedagogical processes, or the game as a teaching method in the field of social science and its importance in teaching at primary and secondary schools. The practical part is focused on simulation games implementation within the social science - education.
The education of the financial responsibilities on the second grade of primary schools

Bachelor thesis deals with financial literacy at the second stage of elementary school. Attention is focused on the evaluation of textbooks and workbooks available to teachers. The first part of the thesis is focused on the definition of financial literacy and key documents. Next part of the thesis is devoted to the inclusion of financial literacy in the framework of the curriculum and then to the specific School educational program. The last part is devoted to the evaluation of textbooks and workbooks, which are evaluated according to predetermined criteria from the relevant literature. Finally, the recommendations of specific textbooks and workbooks on the teaching of financial literacy are made. The thesis could serve as a basic orientation in key documents dealing with financial literacy. Philosophy of education and the question of teaching ethics

The Thesis deals with possibility of teaching ethics. It explores philosophy of education and ethics. Basic question is whether it is even reasonable to teach ethics. Thesis also reflects the essence and nature of upbringing and education. In final chapter the thesis comes to synthesis of philosophy of education and ethics. Points of focus from previous chapters are merged together and author tries to show a path with elementary starting points. Author concludes that ethics can be taught by philosophical discussion, thinking and by combined discovery of theoretical philosophy. Ethics that grows from philosophical thinking and thinking process itself may develop the ability of students to pose important questions and deeply reflect ethical issues. They establish ethical outlook and inner understanding. They aim for uplifting the listeners, to shake their human psyche, to stir unrest in their souls. Goal of teachers of this subject is to challenge current certanties. Teachers have the possiblity to teach their students to think philosophically by introducing them to philosophical thinking, where thinking is defined as "Thinking in bigger picture". Learning Regional History of Kralupy Area through Project-based learning in Civics and History

This diploma thesis deals with regional history and its incorporation into teaching through project method on second level of basic school. The aim of the thesis is to create a project proposal based on theoretical knowledge. Project method of teaching implemented within the Citizenship education and History for the second grade of basic school. The first part of work is defined the concept regional history and its location in FEP for Elementary Education and the attention is paid to interdisciplinary links between Citizenship education and History subjects. Then are captured regional history knowledge needed to implement the project. This part is divided into several historical stages with an emphasis on the period of World War II due to sufficient information for the preparatory phase of the project. The next chapter informs about Project teaching method, its historical development, individual project phases and the distinction between thematic and project teaching. The positives and negatives of project teaching are also presented. The final part of the diploma thesis presents the concept of didactic project and describes partial didactic procedures aiming to implement proposed project. The Cinematographic Work Devoted to the Holocaust in Instruction of Civics and History

Is the film suitable educational tool for teaching about holocaust? That is the main question and topic of the thesis. At first it im looking into general issues of holocaust in education. I'm trying to show that holocaust is not perceived only as a historical event, but as a specific demonstration of modern society in a first place. Focusing only on its historical attributes results in ignoring ethical and societal dimensions of this topic. For that i'm also suggesting that we should be teaching about holocaust not only in history, but also in civics. Further in this paper im trying to examine using film as the educational tool. I'm working here with the proposition that the film is not representing reality, but it's always just a reflexion of the reality. And as such it needs to work with the memory. Memory is constructing frames of our thinking and understanding of the world around. While using film in education, we need to keep in mind that film is a product of certain cultural memory and memory frames. This product is then retroactively helping to reinforce those memory frames which it came from. I also did some research on legislative aspects of using film in education.
