Title: Marketing strategy of the tennis club Start Tenis Liberec. Objectives: This diploma work targets on marketing analysis of the tennis club Start Tenis Liberec. The main objective of the wortk is to find out the current marketing situation of the tennis club and suggest a strategy, which guarantees its better future progress. Methods: For the research and getting necessary informations, following analysis have been applied: PEST, SWOT, competition and resources analysis. Results: The work describes the current situation of the marketing in the tennis club. In the final part, based on Ansoff's strategy, the new strategy have been suggested, which guarantees better prosperity and functioning of the tennis club in Liberec. Title: Dependence of the position of teams in the FIFA rankings on the achievements in top tournaments Objectives: The aim of this work is determining dependency team standings in the FIFA rankings on the achievements in top tournaments. This is the World Cup in 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of regression and correlation analysis, correlation coefficient and regression straight line. Results: All results are presented in the analytical part of the work. It was found dependency between the observed data and an increasing trend. The biggest dependence was at the World Cup 2014, which reached high levels. The smallest was at the World Cup 1998 and 2002, where the results reached below average. Application of Atomic Absorption Spectrometry for Determination of Selected Elements from Potential Ecological Burden Area

This work is focused on the determination of selected (chemical) elements (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cr, Na, K, Mg a Ca) in a potential ecological burden area using flame atomic absorption spectrometry as a detection technique. A potential ecological burden is represented by tires which are used as a construction material or as an environment surrounding for growing decorative and consumable plants. Analytes were determined in plant origin samples. Firstly, the samples were dried in a laboratory electric dryer. The weighted amount of a dried sample (approximately 0.2 g) was digested inside a microwave decomposition device with an addition of nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide. An optimization of experimental parameters was done for each of the elements before sample measuring. A burner height was optimized and 8 mm height was chosen as a optimum for most elements. Under the optimum condition basic characteristics were measured for each element separately. These characteristics included limits of detection that were: 0.05; 0.01; 0.08; 0.21; 0.02; 0.01; 0.01; 0.01 mg L-1 for the following elements: Fe, Mn, Zn, Cr, K, Ca, Mg and Na, respectively. Title: The Comparison of Marketing Mix of the Two Women's Fitness Clubs in Prague 6 Objective: The aim of this work is to compare the two ladies fitness clubs, located in Prague 6. It is Contours Brevnov and Expreska Repy. To compare and determine from obtained data which of the two fitness clubs is more interesting for potential customers and to propose arrangements which could increase the satisfaction of new coming customers. Methods: The research is performed by qualitative survey based on sample of 8 respondents, who tried both fitness centers. Used technique of research is semi-structureded interview with responders. Results: This survey implies that female respondents are more or less satisfied with the services of both fitness centers. It is not possible to clearly identify which one is better. However respondents had certain reservations to both of them. I analyzed these reservations and recommended fitness centers, on what to focus and in which fields to improve their services. Methods: In the thesis have been used documents' analysis and involved observation. Opinions of organizers and sponsors have been ascertained using interviews. As an additional method has been chosen brief written questioning with former and current sponsors. Outcomes: Outcomes of the thesis are proposal of sponsorship packages, that will be provided to events' organizers. Those will use them during realization of next year's competition Grand Prix Brno. Title: Measuring of customer satisfaction with services of Sports Centre Evropska, s.r.o. Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to measure a level of customer satisfaction with services provided by the selected sports centre - Sports Centre Evropska, s.r.o. It is thus necessary to analyse customers' opinions, detect possible shortcomings in the service of stated sports centre and subsequently to propose steps, which could help to achieve higher levels of service quality, thereby increasing customer satisfaction. Methods: A quantitative research, specifically a written questionnaire SERVQUAL, which was personally handed out to customers of the sports centre, was used to obtain information from respondents. This questionnaire examines and compares expected quality of the provided service, i.e. the quality that is expected by customers in an ideal fitness centre, with the real level of perceived service quality provided by the Sports Centre Evropska, s.r.o. Results: This survey of satisfaction among customers with the service provided by the Sports Centre Evropska, s.r.o. has shown a fair level of clients satisfaction. Dependence between TV Ratings and the Size of Membership base in Selected Team Sports

Title: Dependency between TV Ratings and the Size of Membership base in Selected Team Sports Objectives: The main goal of this work is to identify the dependencies between the TV ratings of highest male competition of selected sports (basketball, floorball, handball and volleyball) and the membership base from 2008 to 2014. Partial task is to chart the development of membership bases of selected sports and TV ratings of the highest men competitions. Methods: This thesis uses the linear regression analysis, graphical residual values and Pearson correlation coefficient and its statistical testing. These analysis are applied on the acquiered data on TV ratings and membership bases. In the reported period, we search for the dependency based on the Pearson correlation coefficient and its statistical test. Results: The models of linear regression for basketball, volleyball and handball show negative trend. The model obtained for basketball did not even pass the statistical test. For floorball the strenght of linkage was medium and positive. Therefore it is not suitable to use these models for description of the mentioned dependency. Competition of selected sports centers in the region

Title: Competition of selected sports centers in the region Objective: Analysis and comparison of the marketing activities of selected sports centers operating in Kolin. Information obtained from the marketing research was used for the analysis of the competitive surrounding in the region and also to create and propose measures that will lead to the improvement of marketing activities and improve the competitiveness of selected sports centers. Methods: For the analysis of the competitive surrounding in Kolin was used PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. Marketing research was conducted using qualitative techniques in- depth interview with the managers of selected sports centers. Results: Results of the analysis of the competitive surrounding Kolin show the necessity of using marketing tools to operate the fitness center. It was found that competition between selected fitness centers is very intense. Marketing activities help to differentiate themselves from the competition and increase client base. The results of the analysis confirmed that examined fitness center are insufficiently used marketing tools and in this direction have large reserves. Title: Marketing Communication of Handball Club TJ Sokol Praha Vršovice Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to create a proposal for a new concept of marketing communication for the sports club TJ Sokol Praha Vršovice, focused on one of its main current problems which is the dimension and structure of the members' basement. In connection with that, it was necessary to do marketing research to find out the conditions and actual situation in using current tools of marketing communication by the sports club. Methods: Both methods of analysis, qualitative (interview) and quantitative (written survey), were used. Results: Data acquired from analysis was utilized and summarised in the results section. Title: The evalution of quality service in the sports facility Power Plate. Objectives: : The main target of this bachelor's thesis is determine the service quality of Power Plate Center in Jungmannova street, Prague 1. Based on results of the questionnaire I recommend some improvements which leads to better satisfactions of customers. Methods: In this thesis was used a quantitative method of data collection based on a questionnaire. Results are shown graphically. Results: After results evaluations, several weaknesses of Power Plate center showed. Based on these results we made measures and recommendations which should improve the quality of services provided.
