Phosphorylation and its impact on cancer - bioinformatics view
Nováková, Martina ; Novotný, Marian (advisor) ; Žárský, Vojtěch (referee)
Cancer is a frequent disease and cause of human death, during one year over 70 000 people suffer and over 25 000 die because of cancer in the Czech Republic. Cancer causes change of cellular metabolism and one way this is done is the change of post-translational modifications, especialy phosphorylations. Phosphorylations are important regulatory mechanism, because they often have a direct effect on the enzyme activity. Phosphorylated residues are mostly serine, threonine and tyrosine and phosphorylation of these amino-acids are considered in this barchelor thesis. Data about phosphorylations are then stored in the database. The databases differ by the type of data they collect, size, way of annotating and content control. My thesis deals with the connection between cancer and phosphorylation. The emphasis of this thesis is on bioinformatic approaches to study changes in phosphorylations in cancer cells. The thesis is a summary of the most important databases. This work also summarizes articles with a bioinformatic approach to analyze data on phosphorylation and tumours. Attribution, attributional styles and dimension of internality - externality in psychosomatic patients
Nováková, Martina ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
The thesis deals with attribution, attributional styles and dimension of internality-externality in psychosomatic patients. The text is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The term psychosomatic disorder is defined in the theoretical part. The essential links between psychosomatic disorder, stress and cognitive processes are mentioned. Selected attribution theory and the concepts of attributional styles then make up the majority theory, the emphasis is placed on the dimension of internality-externality. In the empiric part, there are four hypotheses defined using two psychodiagnostic methods tested on a set of people with psychosomatic disorder and compared with the healthy population. Three of the hypotheses were confirmed, one of them only partly. Key words: attribution attribution theory attributionalstyle internality-externality locus of control psychosomatic disorder/psychosomatic illness somatoform disorder (SFD) functional disorder medically unexplained symptoms (MUS)

Title: Case interpretation of physiotherapeutic care of the patient with diagnosis Coxarthrosis l. sin Summary: The topic of the bachelor thesis is case interpretation of the patient with diagnosis coxarthrosis, which arose as a consequence of hip dysplasia. The general theoretic part describes anatomy and physiology of the hip joint including the decription of total endoprosthesis hip implant, which is proven method of surgical solution of diseases and defects of hip joint. Characteristics of the coxarthrosis disease follows, it includes pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnostics and possibilities of therapeutic processes. The theoretic part also mentiones congenital development defect of hip dysplasia, which is described in terms of etiology, clinical examination, division of congenital hip dysplasia and therapeutic process. The special part consists of case interpretation of the patient with diagnosis coxarthrosis, which arose as a consequence of hip dysplasia. It was was treated by total endoprosthesis of the hip joint. After the surgical solution regular physiotherapeutic care follows. In conclusion the chosen physiotherapy effect is evaluated. Key words: arthrosis, dysplasia, total endoprosthesis, hip joint, rehabilitation
Village churches of Kilian Ignac Dientzenhofer in the region of Broumov
Nováková, Martina ; Oulíková, Petra (advisor) ; Pučalík, Marek (referee)
The subject of my bachelor work is a collection of baroque churches made by architekt Kilian Ignac Dientzenhofer to order of benedictine monastery in Broumov. The complex was constructed in 20's and 30's of 18th century. This study is focused on the art-historical description of churches and it describes also conditions of their foundation. A part of this work is an introduciton of abbot O.Zinke, who was a constractor of these churches and it relates a signification of this churche complex not only in the piece of K.I.Dientzenhofer, but also in context of contemporaneous architecture.

Characterisation and regulation of muscarinic and adrenergic receptors Subtitle: The effect of stress on muscarinic and adrenergic receptors in the lung and in the heart
Nováková, Martina ; Mysliveček, Jaromír (advisor) ; Hynie, Sixtus (referee) ; Mravec, Boris (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to clarify the influence of the stress on the adrenergic and muscarinic receptors in the heart and in the lungs. Research was perform on rat hearts and lungs and on the hearts and lungs of the CRH KO mice. First, we assessed mRNA levels of all α- and β-adrenergic receptor and muscarinic receptor subtypes. Subsequently, we performed the radioligand-binding studies to determine densities of these receptors. We identified all three α1-adrenergic receptor subtypes in the rat lungs. In the lungs of WT mice, we found that the amount of α1-adrenergic and muscarinic receptors was sex-dependent. Densities of the former were higher in females and those of the latter were higher in males. There was no difference between males and females in β-adrenergic receptor density. As for CRH KO mice, the basal densities of studied receptors were lower than in CRH WT mice (except β1-adrenergic receptors in females). The main purpose of the thesis was to detect the immobilization-induced changes in the studied receptors in the kontrol (WT) and CRH KO mice. Short-term and long-term immobilization caused decrease in all α1-adrenergic receptor subtypes in females, whereas only α1A-adrenergic receptors decreased in males. The amount of β1-adrenergic receptors decreased in males and remained without...
Swimming level classification of young school age children and their success in a long distance swimming test
Nováková, Martina ; Čechovská, Irena (advisor) ; Peslová, Eva (referee)
Title: Swimming level classification of young school age children and their success in a long distance swimming test Work objectives: The outcome of our work is comparison and evaluation of the initial and final swimming lenght in a test of long distance swimming. This test is taken during one swimming course. Methodology: Data which were obtained by testing a certain group of people and were statistically processed, showed the swimming level and performance of the young school age children. We determinated an improvement, a downgrade or a stagnancy of swimming level of the young school age children in the test of long distance swimming before and after each swimming course at the Jablonec nad Nisou swimming school. Results: As a result we detected a change in swimming lenght in the test of continuous swimming of young school age children. Children demonstrated an improvement of swimming performance at the end of the swimming class. Further more, the results showed us differences in swimming lenght amoung children from the second and third grade. Key words: Swimming, young school age, endurance skills 3
Facebook and the elections. The analysis of a self-presentation of the Czech political parties before the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2010
Báčová, Petra ; Marcelli, Miroslav (advisor) ; Nováková, Martina (referee)
The elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic on 28th and 29th May 2010 was called Facebook elections. The reason for such title was the scale of usage of Facebook by the political parties for their campaigns. The thesis Facebook and the elections. The analysis of a self-presentation of the Czech political parties before the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2010 focuses on a semiotic analysis of Facebook accounts of some political parties and their chairmen. During the monitored period Facebook presentations were presented by the Civic Democratic Party, the Czech Social Democratic Party, TOP 09, the Public Affairs party, Christian Democratic Union - Czechoslovak People's Party and the Greens. The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia was not officially registered on Facebook. We also analyzed Facebook pages of Mirek Topolanek (ODS), Petr Necas (ODS), Jiri Paroubek (CSSD), Karel Schwarzenberg (TOP 09), Radek John (VV), Cyril Svoboda (KDU-CSL) and Ondrej Liska (SZ). We call Facebook a viral social network. We analyzed it as a cyberspace with an ambivalent structure which influences the mean of a communication process before elections. Rhizomatic map of Facebook is comparable with a topology of a virtual cafe. We also...
