The history of Nymburk's Monastery

This thesis about Nymburk monastery consists of 5 sections. First section refers to the issues that relate to above mentioned topic. Some of the publications are of high quality expertly treated, unfortunately some of them worked out with false information. Some of these false information repeat also at other authors who overtake them. Second section describes the oldest history of the monastery in Nymburk. It refers to the period since 70 years of the 13.th century when the monastery was established together with the town itself up to the 1421 when the monastery was destroyed by the Hussite army. Third section speaks about renovation of the monastery and its further function during 1667-1789. The monastery restoration was done thanks to much efforts of priest Theophil of Ostropole. As a proof of the monastery bloom we can find the "Historia Conventus P.V. Maria de Rosario" (1752). Fourth section deals with monastery buildings destiny. Eastern part of former monastery started to be used as a school and in the western part a distillery was established. The church was used as a stock. In 1857-1897 the presbytery of the monastery church was used as Saint Jan of Nepomuk's school chapel. Jan Nepomuk Zendrich made much effort to achieve this chapel establishment. Lemberk Castle as a cultural and historical heritage

V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE The objective of the bachelor thesis called Hrad Lemberk as a cultural monument is to comprehensibly describe building-technical development of this object along with gradual mentioning noble dynasties, to which Lemberk belonged. The thesis is divided chronologically into construction stages that the object undertook. Analysis starts when castle arose in gothic period, continues to renaissance reconstruction into chateau, later on it focuses on baroque conversions, further on reconstruction of chateau in period of dynasty Clam-Gallas as far as to the 20 th century and there is also mention about conversions occurring in contemporary. Concurrently with construction analysis there is description of noble dynasties, to which object belonged. Activities in relation with manor are described in cases of more significant owners. From all the owners, that occurred at North Bohemian manor, the one was chosen and was dedicated the greatest room. The chosen person is Mrs. Zdislava, patroness of North Bohemian region. This lady is known for her miracle therapy and her cult has been adored very much so far. Keywords: castle, saint Zdislava

Didaktic Analysis of civis textbooks (Media Education)

The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part I deal with textbooks, their didactic analysis and the ways the textbooks can be used both by teachers as well as by students. My main concern was the problem of Media Education. In empirical part I focused on a didactic analysis of textbooks used for teaching of such educational subjects as Education of a Citizenship, Civics, and Social Science in which I was primarily concerned with the selected components of the didactic analysis.
