This thesis deals with irregular attendance at a nursery school. It is concentrated on children between the ages o f 3 and 4 considering basic psychological needs o f the children. The object o f the thesis is also a family development, relationship between the society and the child as well as the nursery school development and its educational and social function. The Prevention of Specific Breakdowns in the Learning of Children with Interruptions in School Attendance

Children's school failures is one of the basic themes of pedagogical and psychological literatuře. Experts realize that remedy of learning faults cannot be oriented only at their expression, but that is necessary to watch chilďs education in the whole and in complexity of the problém. All the signs of the learning failures evoke no success in the pupil and they will project in his school work. They disable him to understand teacheťs instructions, to do ordinary tasks and to work in optimal rate. Unsuccess in the school work project on to chilďs psyche, influence his self-regard, they can evoke feelings of fear and aversion to the school work. Failures in learning influence even the situation in the family of the child. Iťs obvious, that the best remedy of the specifíc learning disability is to prevent them and so the research is recently aiming on the prevention the learning failures in the pre-school age. In this age can be eliminated particular deficits in the evolution of the child, which could be a sign of the start of the learning failure after entering the school. The Knowledge of learning failures' signs and their remedy should come to awareness of the teachers and parents. Teachers and parents who are sufficiently informed about the problém, its matter and the whole prognosis, access the problém...

The diploma work focuses on home preparation o f pupils at primary school. It deals with primary education and characterises the junior school age in connection with home preparation of pupils. The attention is above all given to homework and home learning. It concentrates on appropriate environment for home preparation, problems with homework, motivation for doing homework and assistance provided by parents with the home preparation of their children. It analyses kinds, forms and frequency o f homework in detail. It investigates opinions of the educationalists at primary schools, parents and children on assigning homework. The thesis deals with different approaches to the creation of school educational programs in the context of the Framework Educational Program for Pre-School Education. The work combines theoretical and empirical approach. In the theoretical part, historical milestones influencing the educational processes in the Czech lands are described. The text presents, in the chronological order, characteristics of curriculum and pre-school educational programs as they had been introduced between 1945 and 1990. The content summarizes current educational trends, major policy changes and requirements applied on contemporary policy documents. The thesis also deals with new policy strategies and procedures connected with the societal changes and pedagogical findings, defines new pedagogical terms and points out the importance of policy documents. The empirical part includes a completed research project on a regional level analyzing approaches to the development of school educational programs, both in terms of concept and form. It also studies the share of directors, teachers and parents in the creation of such a program and identifies problematic areas on the way to an own school educational program.
