Importance of the exercise of parents and children for the development locomotive skills and social competentences in toddler and early preschool age

The diploma thesis deals with the exercise of parents and children (PACES - parents and children exercise simultaneously) and its effect on toddlers and children of early pre-school age. It examines the development of locomotive skills and social competences of this age category from both theoretical and practical point of view. The introduction of the thesis focuses on the history of such exercise, or on psycho- social and physiological development of children. On this basis it formulates some rules for this type of exercise. The practical part verifies the benefits of the exercise by testing, measuring locomotive skills and comparing them with those of children that do not participate in the PACES. It maps the formation of children's social competences via socialisation games. The opinions of participating parents represent another view on the exercise of children and parents. The conclusion of the thesis puts the results of the survey into a wider context of research and measurement made on this topic in the past. 2
Development of endurance capacity of the applicants for the physical education study program at the College of Education at the Charles University

TITLE: The Development of endurance capacity of the applicants for the physical education study program at the College of Education at the Charles University SUMMARY: The aim of my thesis is to summarize the development of endurance capacity of all applicants for the physical education program at the College of Education at the Charles University from 1991 to 2009. The endurance capacity testing took place on a track and consisted of running the 800 m for women and 1500 m for men respectively during the entrance examination for the physical education program. Using statistical methods (arithmetic average, standard deviation, variation coefficient, modus and median) I will compare each year's performances, differences in performances by applicants' study concentration, and differences among men's and women's performances. Besides examining the endurance capacity of the applicants I will also examine the number of applicants each year. Influence of lifestyle family to the weight of preschool children

In this thesis, we gather information on the weight of the children and family influences on it. In the research part of my research using a questionnaire in two nursery schools and medical facilities in their place of residence. Its effect is to assess the child's weight in relation to these indicators. The physical activity of families with the financial situation of the family, the education of their parents and compare the weight of boys and girls the same age.
Hurdle course in the gymnasium

The dissertation concentrates on the theme "The hurdle course in the gymnasium". There are two sections - theoretical and practical. The theoretical section is intent on movement evolution ofchildren between the birth and the end of pre-school age (0 - 6 years). This section also eontains the basic informations about the movement organism and about the most frequent orthopaedistic defects. The theoretical section also contains the summary of movement games and how to do them safety. The authoress is also warning about limits some of movement with regard to the evolution ofchildren in pre-school age. The practical part concentrates on the action research, which is aimed on facilities of P. T. (physical training) equipment and also on the attitude of kindergardens of Prague 7 have gym and garden. This section also indudes descriftion how to build the original hurdle traction and the reaction of pupils and teachers. To reach for the goal the methode of the interview, research was choosen and pedagogical experiment. Knowledge and skill level of high school students in terms of giving non-professional first aid

Synopsis (annotation) This work is dealing with mapping the level and skills of high school students in terms of giving first aid. Isuggest how first aid should be optimally presented in school teaching, placed into syllabus and verified in practice. This study includes 3parts. The first part is theoretical and focuses on general characteristics of the most common injuries and problems which can occur in people's lives. I describe the right treating methods and also the most common mistakes in treatment. I suggest how first aid should be optimally presented in schools teaching and placed into syllabus. The second part is practical and I created atest for high school students. Consequently, I processed the data and evaluated them in graphs and charts. I supplemented this part with model situations in which students demonstrated the resuscitation method and recovery position. In the third part, I compare the reached results to anticipated hypothesis and aims of my work.
Swimming aids and their useable in lead time and in basic stage of swimming

The target of my work is choose some basis with deep and shallow water, where wage the prepare and basic swimming training with children preschool age and children younger shool age, and get some information about using aids. Make a clear idea about right and efectivity use a swim aids by hypothesi and by profiling all accessible informations about this problem. Integration of elements of Physical Education and Health Physical Education into general knowledge improving subjects

The aim of my master thesis is an incorporation of elements of Physical Education and Health Physical Education into regular subjects. It includes utilization of different areas of a school building during teaching. The purpose of a theoretical part is to explain concepts related to movement, children of elementary school age, Physical Education and Health Physical Education. Therefore in my research I focused besides healthy children on also children with movement disorder, and children with study problems. In attachment you can find a methodical stack of different exercises for children during teaching and during breaks as well as with usage of different areas and tools. Moreover it includes pictures of children doing exercises and pictures of different exercisers which can be placed inside or outside of a school building. Last part is an evaluation of these exercises by children themselves.
Games with the ball for children

Cíl práce: Najít a zpracovat takové míčové hry, aby zdokonalily herní způsobilost dětí věkové kategorie 9 až 11 let a zhodnotit jejich využití v běžných hodinách tělesné výchovy na prvním stupni základní školy. Metody: Výzkumná část je rozdělena na tři části. První část obsahuje vstupní test zjišťující úroveň dovedností pro míčové hry u žáků vybraných pátých tříd. V druhé části jsem se věnovala sběru literatury, vytvoření sborníku her a zavedení těchto her ve třídě A. Ve třetí části je vyhodnocen výstupní test. Výsledky: Na základě vstupního testu jsem vytvořila sborník her pro rozvoj herní způsobilosti dětí ve věku 9 až 11 let. Tyto hry jsem zavedla ve třídě A a pomocí výstupního testu jsem zjistila, že zlepšení výsledků ve třídě A bylo větší než ve třídě B. Výsledkem je sborník míčových her použitelných ve výuce tělesné výchovy na 1. stupni základní školy. Klíčová slova: míčové hry, tělesná výchova, herní způsobilost
