Sekerka, Pavel ; Blažek, Milan ; Blažková, Uljana ; Caspers, Zuzana ; Macháčková, Markéta ; Fáberová, I. ; Papoušková, L. ; Matiska, P. ; Koudela, M.
In 2015, the Council of Plants Genetic Resources agreed to include genus Hemerocallis (daylily) and genus Paeonia (peony) into the collections of genetic resources of the National Program. In addition to the selection of plants suitable for the National Program, we started to prepare descriptor lists for these genera in cooperation with students of the Department of Horticulture Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources Czech University of Life Science, Prague. The descriptor list was supposed to cover botanical characteristics of wild species as well as the advanced garden ornamental varieties, because the species of peonies and daylilieas are medicinal plants and it is therefore appropriate to incorporate them in the National Program. At the same time, it turned out that the descriptor list used for Iris is intended primarily for bearded irises (Iris subgen. Iris). However, in the last twenty years, the Czech breeders have specialized also in other groups of irises, especially in Siberian and Japanese irises and Spuria group, which don’t have any beard on outer tepals and have other differerent characteristics from the subgenus Iris. Therefore, we have decided to extend the existing descriptor list to cover the whole genus except bulb irises.

Blažek, Martin ; Sedláček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
Payment order procedures Abstract This diploma thesis is thematically focused on payment order procedures which represent a way to enforce a monetary claim in civil court proceedings in a simpler, faster and more effective way. Its aim is to provide an analytical view of the chosen topic, point out and comment on problematic aspects of the current legislation and take a position on the intended future legislation. The diploma thesis is divided into six chapters. Chapter No. 1 provides a basic introduction to the chosen topic when it offers a brief look at the history and specifies the concept of payment order procedures in more detail. Chapter No. 2 elaborates a regular payment order in detail, starting with the characteristics of the prerequisites for its issuance and ending with its legal power and enforceability. Chapter No. 3 deals with the electronic payment order, the introduction of which into the legal system is seen as the initial beginning of the planned electronization of the Czech justice system; within the framework of this chapter, with regard to the nature of the electronic payment order, its differences from the regular payment order are particularly pointed out. The focus of Chapter No. 4, which is systematically arranged similarly to Chapter No. 2, is the European payment order which,...
Production of the distributor by non-convential forming technology
Blažek, Matěj ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Jopek, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the possibility of manufacturing a distributor body used for distribution of heat-bearing medium in underfloor heating. For the part, due to the series of 100 000 pieces·year-1, the technology of high-pressure hydrofroming without active action of axial presses is chosen. The original solution with a forming pressure of 58,5 MPa did not lead to success and an optimization was necessary, where the pressure was increased to 158,5 MPa, which also did not lead to success. This was followed by a further optimization consisting of hot forming at 700 °C and a pressure of 158,5 MPa, again with no successful solution. The last possible treatment option of changing the material to 11 321 steel and pressure 134,2 MPa was not successful and the high pressure hydrofroming method with passive action of axial dies is not recommended for industrial practice. The final step was an economic evaluation, where the price per piece was determined to be 133,3 CZK with a 20% margin. Considering that the product is suitable the profit will start to be generated after the production of 140 460 pieces.
Evaluation of functional biomechanical parameters of locomotion depending on the performed amputation in LL
Blažek, Michal ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Šorfová, Monika (referee)
Title: Evaluation of functional biomechanical locomotion parameters depending on the performed amputation in LL Objectives: The goals of this thesis are the following: to compare asymmetry in step cycle time, pelvis, hip and knee movement and lower limb loading while walking, also to compare sagittal movement of pelvis while walking, postural stability in stance and subjective scoring of the functional skills and the quality of life in healthy controls, transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputees. Methods: 6 healthy controls and 3 amputees in each amputation group were included in this experiment. Qualisys motion capture system and Kistler force plates to collect objective data and specific sections of Prosthesis Evaluation Questionnaire for subjective scoring were used. The participants were observed while level walking forward and backward with self-selected speed and in a quiet stance with eyes either open or closed with narrow support base. Statistical analysis was carried out in Microsoft Excel. Results: In terms of asymmetry assessment of the selected ambulation parameters there were identified more symmetrical values in the knee disarticulation group in 63 % of 33 monitored parameters. However, statistical significance was exceeded only in a single parameter. Concerning pelvic movement in...

Blažek, Matej ; Hraba, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Bažantová, Ilona (referee)
Lobbying - Economic and Legal aspects Abstract The diploma thesis deals with lobbying and its economic and legal aspects. The aim of the thesis is to present lobbying from a broad perspective in the context of other regulations by using descriptive, comparative and analytical methods and to provide a comprehensive overview of the development of efforts to regulate lobbying in the Czech Republic. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the last governmental regulatory initiative where I am testing a hypothesis of whether the underway regulation is systemically correct in light of examples in other countries. I also conducted two surveys aimed at finding out the attitudes of members of the law academia and members of the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic to the regulation of lobbying in the Czech Republic. The data serve both to (i) illustrate the interpretation of lobbying across the work, (ii) but also because of the specific proposed variant of lobbying within the framework of the approved substantive intent of the lobbying law (the deadline for submitting a paragraph to the government is set to end 2018), and (iii) I believe that they can be useful even when finalizing the bill, or other later proposed measures under the de lege ferenda considerations on lobbying. The thesis is...
Laboratory diagnostic of the thrombofilic diseases.
Studená, Šárka ; Pecka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Blažek, Martin (referee)
The thesis describes the occurance of trombophilic attacs and about their diagnostic possibilities in women with recurent spontaneous abortions. In the study, the sample of women tested were the ones who subscribed for treatment in the 2nd internal disease clinic - Department of clinical hematology of Faculty hospital and Medical faculty Univerzity Karlovy in Hradec Kralove in years 1995-2007. I have also used the materials from archive whilst investigating some samples from past. I was actively involved in this investigation in last couple of years. During writing conclusion of the knowledge gained, following criteria from the literature of our choice and search were used based on the described importance of trombophylic attacs with rising incidence of is capture: age - in this part we used the median of age from the observed sample number of undertaken abortions - this parameter has a great significancy, however it is needed to overview whole period of pregnancy, afterwhich the abortions arose (in first trimester is crucial third abortion and in second trimester the second abortion has been under the count) number of newborn children - the risk of spontaneous abortion is rising with every child the period of using contraception - the usage of contraceptives can in an early stage show the...
Modifications of community property
Blažek, Matouš ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Švestka, Jiří (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with community property ("CP"). CP is one of the institutional property regimes. CP is known from the times of Roman Empire and made significant progress until nowadays. In Europe, CP differs from country to country. In the Czech Republic, CP is created by law at the time spouses enter into marriage. CP can be modificated before entering into a marriage as well as after. CP can be modificated by spouses or by court. CP can also be avoided. Modification of CP has its effects; if existed, it must be adjusted, and has also significant effects on spouses' creditors. CP's legal base is very brief and lets wide scope of answers unanswered. For example, Civil Code nr. 89/2012 as well as Civil Code nr. 40/1964 does not specify the age when engaged couple can make a prenuptial agreement or uses indefinite legal terms (spouses' typical house equipment, etc.) The thesis is composed of 10 chapters and describes the legal basis for modification of CP, and the effects of modification of CP. The goal of my work is to describe the subject of CP, how CP works in practice, and describe how to modificate a CP. Chapter one (Historical excursion) leads us through history of this legal institute, starting in Roman Empire and ending with new Civil Code (nr. 89/2012). Chapter two (CP in Europe) is a...
