Outdoor activities as the means of integration of persons after spinal cord injury

Title: Outdoor activities as a means of integrating people after spinal cord injury Object: The research work related to a young man after spinal cord injury with a current diagnosis quadriplegia. Aim: To prepare a theoretical basis for follow-up and verify the thesis positive impact of outdoor activities to integrate persons after spinal cord injury. Method: To meet the targets was used analysis of personal documents and two different structured interviews with open questions. Results: The expected positive effect of outdoor activities on the process of integration of the spinal cord injury in this case was confirmed. Reintegration client to camp program has led to support the process of dealing with injury and also had a positive effect to increase its efforts to actively address the consequences of injury. Prospective managers' competence development and employers' requirements

The main problem area covered by the thesis "Prospective Managers' Competence Development and Employers' Requirements" i s based on the fact that employers ha ve for some years expressed concerns that graduates do not have the competences they need and blame the educational system for inadequately providing them. On the base of a survey the thesis reveals how these competences are generated and developed through our tertiary education in the field of economics and management. Its main concern relates to finding ways that could better promote the university students' competence development to improve the match between the tertiary education and employment of graduates.
Human capital as a determinant of economic growth

Research of the relationship between human capital and economic growth has been significantly developing since 1960s'. This thesis aims to contribute to the topic of human capital, map its importance in the theoretical and empirical economics and examine the influence on macroeconomic growth. In most of the countries human capital and education are budgeted mainly from the public resources thus is the human capital theory important for the public sector as well. First part of the thesis presents the main growth models and its evolution concerning also the human capital. In the second part there is a summary of the most important empirical literature. In the third part I present and comment the results of the empirical analyses. The benchmark data panel covers 92 countries within years 1960-2005. The method of analyses is panel data regression. The primary finding of the thesis is confirmation of the positive influence that human capital has on the economic growth. Third part also tests the most adequate proxy of the human capital. The quality of the human capital as well as the link between quantity and quality are also reflected in the regression analyses.
TUITION FEES AND THE IMPACT ON THE RATE OF RETURN, NEW STATE LOAN PRODUCT

The theme of the dissertation is the private rate of return to educational Investments in tertiary sector. The topic of the research is the impact of the tuition fees on this indicator, including considering the possibility to finance additional costs of the student by the new state loan product. There is introduced the current state of theory and done the SWOT analysis of needs of the education system in the Czech Republic. It is done calculation of private student rate of return to investment into tertiary education and made practical verification of the possibility of using new bank loan product as a source for funding of additional costs for financing of student fees.
