Problematika této disertace "Rozvoj kompetencí budoucích manažerů a požadavky podnikové praxe" vychází ze skutečnosti, že zaměstnavatelé již několik let vyjadřují obavy ohledně toho, že absolventi VŠ nemají rozvinuté kompetence, které potřebují v praxi, a proto viní vzdělávací systém z neadekvátního rozvoje těchto kompetencí studentů. Na základě vlastního výzkumu tato práce zjišt'uje, jak jsou u studentů dané kompetence rozvíjeny terciárním vzděláváním v oboru ekonomika a management. Hlavním cílem práce je nalézt způsoby, jak lépe podpořit kompetenční rozvoj VŠ studentů, aby tak došlo ke zvýšení souladu mezi terciárním vzděláváním a zaměstnáním absolventů VŠ. The main problem area covered by the thesis "Prospective Managers' Competence Development and Employers' Requirements" i s based on the fact that employers ha ve for some years expressed concerns that graduates do not have the competences they need and blame the educational system for inadequately providing them. On the base of a survey the thesis reveals how these competences are generated and developed through our tertiary education in the field of economics and management. Its main concern relates to finding ways that could better promote the university students' competence development to improve the match between the tertiary education and employment of graduates.
