History of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov

Title: The History of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with history of Sokol Club I. Smíchov since its establishment till year 1940. The aim of this thesis is not only to describe its history and activities but also shortly give account of Sokol Club. The part of thesis attends to history of the town of Smíchov which is definitely connected with Sokol Club Smíchov. The thesis called "The history of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov" is based on research on historical sources and literature. Mostly I insisted on archival documents from The National Museum, The Collection of Physical Education and Sport and on archival documents of Sokol Club I. Smíchov. From literature I used publications about history of the town of Smíchov and about history and persons of consequence of the Sokol Club. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is divided into an introduction and an analysis of archival documents, literature and working methods. Next part describes the history of the town of Smíchov, the history of the Sokol Club and biographies of Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner, too. There is also described the history of Sokol Club I. Main toppic in this bachelor thesis is comparaison of rowing training in youth and adult categories. In theoretical part is briefly mentioned history of rowing, historical and current achievements of our rowers and also there are mentioned significant coaches. Next captures are about rowing training and specifics of preparation in indvidual age categories. Practical part conserns short introduction with rowers who trained under the training plans. This work is intended primarily interested in the cross-country skiing, whether the general public engaged in this sport, and coaches and athletes who have the opportunity to look into the training and performance indicators junior reprezentants for the past 6 years. The work deals with the basic characteristics of cross-country skiing, and not least on the sports training and performance in this sport.
Badminton in Primary Schools

The bachelor work is divided into three areas. The first one is theoretical and explains the history, development, utilities and rules of badminton. The second part describes the physical training, basic education and training methodology. The final section covers a particular primary school with badminton training, teacher activities, the use of school playground, and includes a practical part about my research of pupils' interest in badminton.
Motor Skills of Children of Primary School Age

The deal of these thesis is to determinate the level of physical abilities of elementary school children, specifically children aged 6 to11 years. Testing was conducted at two schools - Elementary School Kladská 1in Prague and Elementary School Bedřicha Hrozného in Lysá nad Labem. Furthermore, I focused on the results differences between the Prague school and the school outside Prague and the differences between the results of physically active and physically inactive pupils. For testing purposes, I used the test battery UNIFITTEST. Used were the following tests: long jump with take-off from the place, sit-ups / 60 seconds and endurance shuttle run. Analysis of the versatility of karatekas at competitions in the Czech Republic in the last twelve years

The presented diploma thesis deals with the extensive and detailed analysis of versatility of karatekas based on the analysis of the results of the competitions in the National Cup JKA Czech Republic and the Czech Republic Championship JKA ČR in the categories from younger students to senior citizens in the Czech Republic over the past twelve years. The work was created as detailed extension examined shrinking phenomenon, relating to the versatility of karatekas in those competitions, categories and periods in the Czech Republic. Materials relating to the the final location of individual karatekas in those competitions, categories and periods in the Czech Republic were analyzed within the diploma thesis solution. The history philosophy and the meaning of karate are briefly shown in the theoretical part. To understand not only the results of the research part, but the whole work, there is also characterized competition and tournament rules and regulations. The results of the competitions following the versatility of karatekas are analyzed by the valid method in the research part of the diploma thesis, which lies in the tendency to place the medal positions in kata (set of consecutive techniques) and also in kumite (fight of two karate). Gymnastics programs in preelementary school

The topic of this bachelor's thesis are gymnastics programs in kindergartens. The work focuses on the use of basic gymnastics during physical activities in kindergartens. The theoretical part deals with basic knowledge of child development at preschool age, characteristics and specific features of gymnastic activities suitable for children of preschool age. This work also highlights the continuity of physical activity on "General educational program for pre-school education." The aim of this thesis is to find out which conditions kindergarten teachers have to put into gymnastic practise activities. What are their basic knowledge of motion development of preschool children and how is the realization of gymnastic activities in kindergartens implemented. This experiment investigate how a group of children can deliberatly change their level of physical skills.
