Marketing Strategy of the Selected Company

This master‘s thesis is focused on drafting a marketing strategy proposal and recommendation for Petit Press, a.s., which owns a discount aggregator Zľavy.sme.sk. The first part of the thesis describes the individual aims of the work. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical background of the work that is needed to better understand this issue. The third chapter is focused on the application of this knowledge in the analysis of the marketing mix and the environment in which the aggregator operates, and also describes the marketing research realized among customers of the aggregator. Based on the data and facts, the last chapter of the thesis presents specific proposals for adjusting and improving the marketing strategy of aggregator SME.

Ve třetí, návrhové části, je zpracován podnikatelský plán obsahující veškeré náležitosti, na jejichž základě se lze rozhodnout, zda podnikatelský plán realizovat, či nikoli.

The thesis focuses on a marketing analysis of the Victoria company, a travel agency located in Brno. Its principal objective is to create a corporate marketing strategy based on a marketing research and analyses that determine preferences and interests of consumers in the area of tourism. The thesis is subdivided into two sections – theoretical and practical. The theoretical section comprises chapters describing various theoretical bases of marketing as well as the manner of drafting a marketing plan. The practical section presents practical findings related to the thesis.

In this thesis is written a brief history of electric cars up to the present. Hybrid vehicles are described and particular attention is given to the description of electric vehicles. A method for accumulating electrical energy by electrochemical accumulators is provided. Finally, there are operation costs of electric cars.

This thesis deals with analysis and possibilities of improvements in the area of customer relationship management in a company. There is a theoretical framework regarding customer relationship management and CRM systems including their implementation. The thesis includes analysis of current state of CRM in a concrete company and a proposal of a new CRM system implementation schedule based on the analysis. Finally, there is a discussion of benefits of the proposed project and author's proposals heading to improvements of CRM in the company.

Záměrem této práce je analyzovat nové praktiky používané při plánování marketingových kampaní. Zřetel je dán zejména na použití internetu a sociálních sítí, které zaznamenávají v posledních letech značný růst počtu uživatelů. Navíc například oproti televizním kampaním, náklady na ně jsou podstatně nižší. Jak si na tom tedy stojí internetové kampaně a je vůbec internetová kampaň úspěšná? Tato otázka je jedním z hlavních témat, kterými se bude práce zabývat. Další částí bude analýza význačných a originálních kampaní, které přispěli k dalšímu vývoji užívání nových médií.
