Abstract: Higher aerosol concentrations during the winter campaign than during the summer campaign indicate greater air pollution during heating period. Both local and regional emission sources may contribute to the pollution, and the contribution of long-range transport of aerosols cannot be neglected. The main emission sources of pollution in winter were identified as the burning of wood and coal, mainly for domestic heating.
