Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na starší dospělé a jejich účast ve vzdělávání na Virtuální Univerzitě třetího věku. Cílem práce je analýza motivace seniorů ke studiu na Virtuální Univerzitě třetího věku (dále jen VU3V). Nejdříve budou v práci reflektovány hlavní fyzické, psychické a sociální změny ve stáří související se vzděláváním. Dále se práce zaměří na především na specifika a funkce vzdělávání seniorů. V hlavní části se práce bude zabývat motivací seniorů ke vzdělávání, tj. takové cílové skupiny, v níž členové mají přes shodné také specifické rysy, jako jsou např. různé zkušenosti, dovednosti nebo dosažené vzdělání. Pozornost bude rovněž zaměřena na nejčastější bariéry, které mají vliv na vzdělávání seniorů. Práce rovněž charakterizuje fungování Virtuální Univerzity třetího věku, tj. organizaci vzdělávacích středisek, podmínky pro studium a nabídku virtuálních kurzů. Kvantitativní šetření bude realizováno formou dotazníků, které budou rozdány studentům VU3V v konzultačních střediscích v okrese Strakonice. Cílem šetření bude identifikovat hlavní motivy seniorů ke studiu na VU3V v okrese Strakonice. The aim of this work is to analyze the motivation of the elderly to study at the Virtual University of the Third Age (hereinafter referred to as VU3V). First, the main physical, psychological and social changes in education related to old age will be reflected in the work. Furthermore, the work will focus mainly on the specifics and functions of elderly education. In the main part, the thesis will deal with the motivation of the elderly to education, i.e the target group in which the members have specific features such as different experiences, skills or educational background. Attention will also be paid to the most common barriers affecting the education of the elderly. The work also characterizes the Virtual University of the Third Age, i.e. the organization of educational centers, conditions for studying and virtual course offer. Quantitative research will be carried out in the form of questionnaires which will be distributed to the VU3V students in the consulting centers in the Strakonice district.
