Experimental investigation of electromagnetic activity of living cells at millimeter waves
Jelínek, František ; Pokorný, Jiří ; Šaroch, Jaroslav
The direct detection of electric oscillations in biological cells can deliver strong evidence for Fröhlich's theory of coherent excitation in biological systems. Some experimental observations of interaction of electromagnetic fields with living cells at mm waves published in literature are shortly reviewed. A laboratory equipment for the measurement of mm-waves interaction with yeast cells is described.

Difúze 71Ge a 68Ge v Mg a ve slitině Mg-2Al
Čermák, Jiří ; Eversheim, D. ; Rothová, Věra ; Stloukal, Ivo
Measurement of Ge diffusion coefficients in Mg and in Mg-1.8 wt.% Al alloy is presented in this work. Two techniques of Ge deposition and two annealing atmospheres (Ar and Ar + Cl2) were tested which might reveal possible influence of hold-up effect at the free surface on the diffusion behavior. The present results are compared with the literature data for volume diffusion of other impurities in Mg.

General Data Protection Regulation and its Impact on Grey Literature
Koščík, Michal
In April 2016, the European commission adopted a new General Data Protection Regulation. This regulation is based on fundamental principles of the existing legislation and elaborates it further into the set of rather detailed legal instructions. The suggested paper aims to summarize the parts of the new regulation that are most relevant for operators of gray literature repositories, who will have to adapt within the next two years. The paper will focus on the issues of consent to the processing of personal data, the legal regime of processing personal data without the consent of the data subjects, the data subject’s right to information as well as the legal regime of acquisition of personal data by third parties and exercise of the newly formulated right to be forgotten.

Text and Data Mining of Grey Literature for the Purpose of Scientific Research
Myška, Matěj
The paper explores the legal possibilities of users to text and data mine repositories of grey literature for scientific research without the consent of the GL repository operator and right holders of the documents contained therein. Firstly the scope of the respective copyright and sui generis database rights exceptions for scientifi c research is analyzed. Secondly the term “scientific research” and its meaning in the regulatory instruments is explored. Lastly the debated mandatory exception for TDM for scientific research is introduced.

Pejšová, Petra ; Vaska, Marcus ; Schöpfel, Joachim ; Fürstová, Iveta ; Polčák, Radim ; Mach, Jan ; Frantíková, Bohdana ; Karlach, Petr ; Dolanský, Jindřich ; Svoboda, Martin
The book Grey Literature Repositories provides information about the concept of grey literature, its development, types, and producers in the European context, with a focus on the Czech Republic. The example of the National Repository of Grey Literature, practically implemented in the National Technical Library, is given to illustrate how such a repository may be built. The most important factors in the success of such project are cooperation and legislation. The book presents the components necessary to construct a repository from a practical viewpoint, namely analysis, selection and implementation of software, creation of the metadata format and audit of repository credibility.

Seminar on Providing Access to Grey Literature 2008
Státní technická knihovna
In 2008 we organised the first seminar on making grey literature accessible. The program of the seminar was a start to the work on the solution of the project in 2008, and it not only aimed at providing information about the project, but also provided the participants interested in grey literature with information taken into account during the research of the Working Group. The issues presented at the seminar were as follows: the project itself, the current situation of the systems for grey literature in the world, PDF format and ISO standards for long-term archiving, standardisation of open archives focused on description and exchange of aggregated web resources via OAI-ORE. Further there was presented the issue of copyright by means of licences Creative Commons and the stage of implementation of persistent identifiers in the National Library in the Czech Republic.

Finite element model of male vocal tract considering clefting and interaction between hard palate and acoustic spaces
Dedouch, K. ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Vampola, T.
Results of a voice numerical simulation using finite element model of acoustic spaces corresponding to the human vocal tract for English vowel /a/ are presented. The approximate FE model was designed according to the data published in literature and amended by the model the nasal tract joint with the vocal tract by compliant bone of hard palate.
