Comparison of Labour Market in the Czech Republic and Japan

One of the countries, which belongs in the furthermost ones from the Czech republic not only from geographical, but also from technological, economic and demographic points of view, is Japan. This text is engaged in the analysis and functioning of the two labour markets and their main indicators, especially employment and unemployment. At the beginning is decribed also Japanese and Czech sphere of demography, which is connected with labour market as well. I assume that in respect of demography and labour market the Japanese situation is currently in a better position. The goal of this text is to describe development of the analysed variables and eventually find out the reasons of the current or future state.
Analysis of Labour Market in District Kutna Hora

Diploma thesis is focused on labour market flexibility in the Czech Republic and rate of unemployment in the district Kutna Hora. Study is divided into three parts. First main chapter is analyzing the rate of unemployment and its evolution in Kutna Hora. Main employers of the area are mentioned. Second part is referring to the problem of unemployment generally (problem of education, gender, length of unemployment). Third last part is related to the Taiwanese Foxconn Company which was founded in 2008 and has its head office in Kutna Hora and represents the strongest employer in the area. The main purpose of this thesis is to show the impact of Foxconn Company on Czech labour market and the situation of the rate of unemployment in district Kutna Hora between 2005 and 2010. Conclusion part includes a few recommendations.

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of international tourism and its impact on the economy of the member states of the European Union. The introductory chapter defines the concept of tourism, the second chapter describes the position of Europe in world tourism. Then the thesis deals with the economic importance of tourism in the European Union and the factors that influence the tourism of EU. The main part is devoted to the effects of international tourism to the economy of the member states. The final chapter outlines recent trends and prospects for further development of tourism.
Impact of financial crisis on economic cooperation among member states of NAFTA

The thesis deals with the impact of current financial crisis on economic cooperation among member states of NAFTA. The aim of first chapter is to analyze the economic impact of the agreement on the region. The causes of the ongoing crisis are briefly described in the second chapter, which is followed by a through analysis of chosen economic areas (trade in goods, foreign direct investment flows, remittances, etc.) The last chapter deals with the evaluation of government measures in order to overcome the crisis.
Employment policy in the region of Prachatice

Bachelor paper deals with employment policy in the region of Prachatice, focusing active and passive employment. The theoretical part focuses on labour market in terms of various economic indicators, as well as characteristics of active and passive employment policy and related conceptions. The practical part is focusing on description of Prachatice district compared with South Bohemia and Czech Republic in the years 2008 -- 2010. A main characteristic is labour market development. The main part of the paper is focused on development, goals and implementation, expenditures and overall evaluation of active employment policy; afterwards the development of passive employment policy. The conclusion is devoted to final overall evaluation and suggestions for improvements.
University Students and Graduates on the Labour Market

The thesis examines and analyses the high employment of students of universities as it has become a new trend in education recently. Training for the future profession is not concerned with the studies only but the work experience is involved as well. This thesis examines reasons of this trend and also its influence on students and the future ability of graduates to succeed in seeking job on the labour market. The theoretical part applies to the definition of the initial education which is confronted with reality due to empirical data obtained from the survey focused on working students.

The Diploma thesis is focused on regional labour market development in Highlands during the economic crisis that brought negative impacts, especially into an area of industrial production. The main objective of thesis is to evaluate this labour market development, to analyse the impacts of economic crisis in selected economic entities that are significant regional employers and to research of practical solutions of negative consequences for elimination of this negative impacts needs. Integral part of thesis is also presentation of instruments that were implemented by regional institutions as part of employment policy.
Social system in Cuba

The thesis deals with the Cuban system of social security. The work focuses on general operation of social systems in Latin America and compares them with the Cuban social system. Thus, the thesis aims to explore the system of social security in Cuba, to describe its advantages and disadvantages and to show why the system is sometimes considered as more effective then other systems in this region. Attention has also been paid to the ageing of the population and how Cuba deals with this problem.
Employment from the View of Current Legal Regulations and the Role of Employment Offices

The dissertation deals with the current situation of the labour market, as well as presents legal wording in the field of labour law, employment law, labour code, their ammendments, and other important legal regulations. The aim of this work is an analysis of the existing situation of the labour market and the cooperation with employment offices and companies in the Czech Republic. In addition, it looks to define an understanding of the real situations and problems these institutions struggle with, using statistical and mathematical models learned during my studies.
