Video-Based Human-Computer Interface
Caha, Miloš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
A bachelor thesis deals with methods about a detection of direction of look and with theirs following applications for PCs control. The thesis summarises and describes the most widely used methods for individual phases of the mentioned detection. Especially, use of a face detector and of convolution filters for searching of significant points in the face is used. The work is concentrated on a design and a description of an implementation of the application which demonstrates the method of contactless PCs control.
Gaze Detection
Caha, Miloš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Main object of this work is to design and implement the algorithm for look direction determination, respectively the head movement. More specifically, it is a system that searches face in the video and then detects points, suitable for view direction estimation of tracked person. Estimation is realized using searching transformation, which has been performed on key points during head movement. For accuracy enhancement the calibration frames are used. Calibration frames determines the key points transformation in defined view directions. Main result is an application able to determine deflection of head from straight position in horizontal and vertical direction for tracked person. Output doesn't contain only information about deflection direction, but it also contains the size of deflection.
Camera based eye tracking
Otáhal, Miroslav ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to understand problematic of eyes movement tracking using webcam. In individual chapters there are introduced basic approaches of eyes movement tracking, based on this method we can get the position of eye pupil and identify where a person looks. The part of this work is program in Matlab, which using the method of infrared detection follow the position of eye pupil and transfer this movements to the movements on the computer screen. Using this program it was tested several volunteers and the results of detection were transferred to the visual form. As part of this program it was created template for assessment of accuracy of used method. At the end of work are discussed achieved results.
Face Detection and Recognition
Ponzer, Martin ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper discusses problems of computer vision, which deals with face detection and recognition in image and video sequence at real time. All methods are designed for color images and are based on skin detection on the basis of information of human skin color. For skin detection is used very effective method Gaussian distribution. All of the areas, which have human skin color, are classified. This classification specifies, which area is or isn’t face. For face detection is used correlation method, complete with eigenfaces method. All areas classified as a face are subsequently recognized by the eigenfaces method. Result of recognition phase is information about human identity.
Face Detection, Invariant to Rotation
Bureš, Václav ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the detection of type uniform objects (concretely faces) in an image. Furthermore the thesis concentrates on the detection of objects in various rotations. The thesis covers a brief overview of methods available, such as Logical Binary Patterns, Histogram Of Gradients, Eigen Faces and more closely specified AdaBoost. Next, freely available datasets are presented, with a descripiton of their chosen characteristics. At the end of the thesis, experiments using AdaBoost algorythm and their evaluation are described.
Face Detection and Identification
Konôpková, Júlia ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Váňa, Jan (advisor)
This work is focused on the problematic of face detection and identification in photography. The introduction is devoted to the most popular methods with briefly descriptions of their principles and rules. Within the practical part of this work we implement and test on free available databases the several of these methods. In the conclusion we evaluate the results and addition of this whole work.
Mobile application for automatic face detection and recognition
Stejskalová, Kristina ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Hesko, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to implement face detection and face recognition method in Java and creating an Android application for face detection and recognition. Methods generally used for face detection and recognition are described in theoretical part. Chosen methods for face detection and face recognition are implemented and then used for building mobile application.
Social Network from Photo Gallery
Polesný, Ondřej ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This thesis deals with recognition of persons and their relationships from static images and presents ways in which these information can be used. That includes methods for detection and recognition of faces, presentation of photos in web-based gallery and methods for recognition of relationships between photographed persons. Part of this thesis is evaluation of the results, both in terms of program success in automated operations by establishing a set of test data with known relationships between people, and in terms of efficiency and functionality of the system for end users.
Face Recognition
Benda, Tomáš ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with human recognition on a videorecording. Convolution neural network was used for face recognition, from which we will get multidimensional vector, which will allow to determine person’s identity. There are demands imposed on the system, for it to be able to work in real time and could be used for example for person recognition at various conferences, or as a part of security system. Whole system is written in Python language. Part of this thesis is dataset in form of videorecords with persons.
Face Detection
Štrba, Miroslav ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains overview of actual face detection methods using classifier. It also contains description of creating system for face detection. There are described different methods for classifier training in first part. There is analysis, which preceded creation of system focused on black-and-white picture, in second part. Implemented system is using WaldBoost algorithm and Haar features. There is option to use particle filter in video.
