This bachelor thesis deals with creating an information system with a web interface for travel agency in Jihlava. The work begins with analyzing requirements. Next, it explores the concept of user interface and datamodel represented by an ER diagram. Finally, the thesis will discuss the implementation and testing of the system.
Information System for a Care Service

Information system for a care service was inspired by the existing system. In there was created a new information system that eliminated shortcomings of the existing system. The information system enables to record data on employees, clients, care and payments for care. The system also includes an overview of past and future client care. The information system was implemented as a web application. This brings the benefit of accessing the application from any electronic device that has Internet access. The created information system can be extended by various functions, as needed by the care organization. The goal was to create an information system that would meet the needs of the care organization's employees and at the same time make it easier for employees to work.
Improving an Existing System for Clustering of Files

The aim of this work is to extend the existing tool named Clusty --- developed by Avast Software to cluster various file types --- with new file types, namely PDF and LNK (MS Windows shortcut). Data needed for clustering are obtained by static analysis of files by third-party tools. The work also describes the selection of suitable attributes and methods for clustering. All parts of the work have been tested and deployed into production.

Describes the internal format of PDF file and possible ways to extract text from it. Presents the final application and tests success rate of obtaining scientific articles.

High-Quality Visualization of Petri Nets for Publishing Purposes

This work is trying to solve the problem of graphical visualization of Petri nets in text publications. The aim of the thesis is to create a tool that will simplify generating of Petri nets and at the same time provide a more aesthetic graphical output than existing tools do. A simplex algorithm was used for automatic network layout. The program has both graphical interface and text mode and can cooperate well with existing tools for working with Petri nets, which the text also mentions. The program is able to load a pnml file and produce a usable image in png, pdf, and svg formats.
Implementing technology visualisation in COMES

The first part describes the COMES system and its individual parts. The second part deals with the description of the laboratory task. The third part describes the program part of the work with a detailed description for easy extension of the task. And the final part is dedicated to the documentation of the created application.
Mobile App for Management of Transactions with Cryptocurrencies

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a mobile application which would serve as auxiliary tool in cryptocurrency trading. The application is therefore targeting group of people already engaged in this market. The user can store and keep track of information about his transactions, such as purchase, sale and exchange. The application works with basic information, such as quantity, price, cryptocurrency name and date of proceeding. Based on the information it makes necessary calculations for correct organization in FIFO queue. Transactions can be further modified. Newly gained information are then processed. The user has option to generate PDF file, including all the information about own transactions in selected tax period. Also the overview of the currently registered cryptocurrencies can be displayed in the application. The design and entire looks of the application was consulted with potential users with its aim for maximizing user experience and also simplify orientation. Some observations serve as opportunities for further development.

The design and implementation emphasis on feedback from users so changes are really a benefit and not a burden. Uses wide range of different technologies and implementation is done using incremental model. Analyzes the impact of changes to number of visitors and receives feedback from users.
Intelligent document

This diploma thesis, interested in intelligent documents, covers, in its introductory chapters, the basic problematics of inteligent documents. The major part of major part of these theorethical chapters is devoted to the analysis of possible practical applications of certain parts of knowledge management. The second part of the thesis, focused more on a practical usage of intelligent documents, includes the proposition of the actual structure and the realization of the specific intelligent document. This part also includes the evaluation and the examples of the differences between an ordinary electronic document and an intelligent document. The conclusion of the practical part of the thesis is the summary of all the findings concerning the practical implementation of an intelligent document and the evaluation of possible applications, extension possibilities and changes of such intelligent document.
