Market survey of the Czech Republic and the German market in the area offer computer e-learning courses.

The purpose of this bachelor work is to provide the comparison of commercial elearning courses in English language on the teritories of the Czech Republic and Germany. In the first part of my bachelor work is to define e-learning and also explain several basic topics and current trends which are crucial for obtaining basic knowledge concerning the electronic learning. Following parts of my work contain the explanation of posible reasons supporting next development of e-learning market based on the Eurostat statistics. One of the mentioned reasons involved in my work is the EU policy and their programs in Europe. The analysis of courses is described in the end part of my work. Before the analysis itself is explained the situation on both markets. Afterwards are introduced companies which courses are involved in the analysis. In the end the courses are compared based on chosen parametres and the results are assessed. The contribution of my work is the assessment and the analysis of the basic requirements for development of e-learning courses which is trying to judge the functionatily of particular courses and their strenghts a weaknesses.
Influence of the division of Cyprus on Turkey’s accession to the EU

The bachelor thesis deals with an influence of divided Cyprus on Turkish accession to the EU. The aim of the work is to find out whether Cyprus is the real obstacle of the further enlargement. The text is divided into three sections. The first one attends to Cyprus from its far history to the present time, when the island is divided into two parts. The second one of the text deals with Turkey. It contains the significance of Turkey not only for the EU but also for other countries of the region and the world. The last third part is made up of positions of single interested members -- Cyprus, Turkey and the EU. All these participants have an influence on a possible reunification of the island and on the further fate of the EU enlargement.
Utilization of EU Structural Funds in the period 2007 - 2013 in communities of Rakovník district, focusing on the Regional Operational Programme NUTS II Central Bohemia

The aim of my Bachelor thesis is to analyse using of financial resources from the EU Structural Funds in Rakovník in the programming period 2007 -- 2013. Specifically I focus on pumping of financial resources in terms of the Regional Operational Programme NUTS II Central Bohemia, where Rakovník district belongs. At the first part I will explain mechanism of Structural Funds. Then in the theoretical part I will be concerned mainly with the Regional Operational Programme. I will explain the aims, which projects could be financed, in which way proceeds financing and pumping from grants. On the basis of these knowledges and answers from questionnaire, I will aim, in the practical part, at analysis of this problem. I will ask 83 communities in Rakovník district. A this part I analyse using europeans's financial resources and dependence on factors (size of the community, education of mayors) which is essentials for getting a grant.

This work deals with development of insurance in the Czech and Slovac Republic and the EU. Describes the basic legislative and economic social conditions in the monitored areas. Analyzed on the basis of macroeconomic and microeconomic insurance status each year in different countries. And compare their outcomes with regard to local conditions.
Legislative aspects of equal opportunities for women and men on the labor market

With regard to the women's position on the labor market the aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine if the labor market regulation is efficient or not. The work compares opposing approaches of neoclassical law and economics and institutional law and economics to this matter including concrete proceedings in favour of equal opportunity of women and men. Concerning the persistence of unequal treatment of women and men on the labor market the work judges the notion that free markets act against discrimination. Another objective is to compare and decompose antidiscrimination law relevant to labor markets in EU and Czech Republic.
Analysis of the Czech Republic fiscal policy after the European Union accession

The aim of this thesis: The Analysis of the Czech Republic fiscal policy after the European Union accession are to describe and monitor development of Czech fiscal policy, remind context of economic and political cycle with fiscal policy in sequence of factual development and evaluate fiscal policy from the standpoint of the accession to EU and possible acceptance of the Euro, too. First part of paper is attended to basic terms delimitation of economic and fiscal policy. In subsequent parts is analyzed development of the most important fiscal policy indicators on the basis of acquired informations and evaluated fiscal policy from the perspective of its positioning. The last part is attended to consequence between Czech Republic and European Union, above all observance evaluation of Maastricht convergent criteria. Attention is aimed also at Stability and Growth Pact
Legislation of the European commission

European Commission is one the main institutions of the European Union. This bachelor thesis focuses on legislation of European Commission in the context of the changes brought about by the Treaty of Lisbon. The aim of thesis is to describe the development of the legislation of Commission and trough analysis of its reform show the sense of the Treaty of Lisbon as such. To better understand the extent and impact of these changes, thesis deals also with legislation of the Commission enacted by the Treaty of Nice. The legislations are described and compared, with emphasis on part in which these two treaties differ. To complete the thesis, the legislation according to the Treaty of Lisbon is in some points compared with legislation from proposed Constitution for Europe.
The Treaty of Lisbon and the position of the Czech Republic after its adoption

The thesis analyses changes introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon and examines the impact of these changes on the Czech republic's position in the European Union. This position does not mean only power and interests of the Czech sovereign state, but it also has to be considered from the citizens' point of view. Therefore the thesis examines the impact of the Treaty on democracy in the Union -- mainly on the European and national parliaments and it also deals with citizens' possibilities to participate in the functioning of the Union. On the other hand, the thesis considers possible impacts in the context of voting in the Council and competence division between Union and member states -- thus the impact on the Czech Republic as a sovereign state. Objective of the thesis is to review how the Lisbon Treaty may or may not be beneficial for the Czech Republic and how it may change Czech position in the Union.
Comparison of the political and economic indicators of selected Balkan countries in context of efforts to join EU

The aim of the work is to comparate readiness of selected Balkan states for membership in European Union. I will target the former Republic of Macedonia, which has already been granted candidate status in 2005 and the Serbia and the Montenegro, which have the status of potentional candidates. The first section will focus on historical context, which effect the current political and economic situation. In the second part, I will make comparison of selected Balkan states in implementation of economic kriteria (particuraly the GDP, GDP growth rate, GDP per capita, unemployment, functioning market economy) and political criteria (human rights, democratic government, rule of law), which are part Copenhagen criteria for EU accession. Finally, I appraise the results of the comparison of the indicators listed above and recommend the time when these countries could be accepted.
Social security for people living within European union for example

The Bachelor thesis comprehends how to coordinate the social security system within the European Union, that it isn't subject to unnecessary barriers of free movement. The first part will mapp of social security from the Middle Ages to the present and further work aims to coordinate, its principles and means of implementing the various components of social security and coordination in the course of practice. The second part will be devoted to specific social security systems in selected countries. Countries, whose social welfare work will be addressed, are Belgium and the Czech Republic. States were selected based on their position in the EU, where Belgium represents one of the founding members, while the Czech Republic is cited as an example of new accession countries. The aim of this work is closer cooperation tendencies of the system between the EU and through the comparison of selected countries to determine the extent to which different countries social security systems changed.
