Static analysis of reinforced concrete walls with additionally made openings
Šimek, Ondřej ; Borzovič, Viktor (referee) ; Vítek, Jan (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the implementation of additional openings in reinforced concrete walls from the point of view of structural analysis. Two types of walls are analysed: panel walls and infill shear walls. In the introductory part, the current state of knowledge in the methods of analysis of this issue is discussed and their advantages or shortcomings are pointed out. Several types of wall specimens with pre- or post-made openings with different types of reinforcement representing the state after an additional opening is made are proposed and their behaviour is experimentally and subsequently numerically verified. On the basis of the data obtained, methods are proposed for the structural analysis and the design of reinforced concrete walls with additional openings. For panel walls with openings, the analysis method using wall models is extended and the method of static assessment is specified. The method of analysis for infill shear walls with an opening using equivalent diagonal bar strut has been extended to take account for the reinforcement and its load state. The proposed structural analysis methods were applied to a real prefabricated house with an additional opening and to a hypothetical frame structure with a proposed structural intervention in its bracing system.
Pension for Seniors
Vítek, Jan ; Ing.Jaroslav Kavka (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
This Diploma´s thesis proceses topic Pension for Seniors. The object is situated in Božetěchova street in Brno-Královo Pole. This house is new building, three-floored and partial basemented. Basement is a technical floor. On the first floor are spaces of services and offices. On the second and the third floor are situated twenty-eight flats. Shape of the house is „L“ and its basic dimensions are 39,0 x 38,0 meters. The building is finished with a single layered flat roof. Height of house is 10,715 meters. The base structures is of conrete C16/20. The bearing walls on 1S are of monolithic reinforced concrete. Other Bering construction system is used of Porotherm. The staircase structure consists is of monolithic reinforced concrete.
Manipulator in the line for heating logs
Vítek, Jan ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis concerns with construction design of manipulator. The purpose of the manipulator is to transport beech logs. It is a part of the production line for heating and steaming veneering of the logs before their subsequent processing. This thesis presents a new design solution. It offers detailed descriptions of the purpose of the construction and of individual functional assemblies. It also describes the means for operating the machine and the types of sensors used. Calculation of forces and reactions in the mechanism, based on a simplified load calculation model, constitutes an important part of the work. Design of key components of the machine is then based on the results of the analysis of the forces involved. The supplements of the thesis include photographs of the manipulator realization and selected technical design.
Development of process parameters for the stereolithography
Vítek, Jan ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the search for optimal process parameters to reach a high strength of the Detax Solflex model material, with the DLP (digital light processing) 3D Solflex 650 printer. In the first part of this thesis the principle of printing using a laser and using a DLP projector and their comparison are presented. Further information about materials and impact of the process parameters on a printing are discussed. Based on a knowledge two assumptions were set: influence of exposure time and influence of layer thickness on strength. Firstly, samples were tested by the hardness Shore D test and the results from the test were compared. New samples for the stress test with the optimal set of parameters given by the previous test were printed and tested. Process parameters influence on strength was determined from the achieved results.
Design of a porcelain set for additive manufacturing
Vítek, Jan ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a set of porcelain coffee cups. The principles of parameterization are used in the design, as well as an innovative way of creating decor using generative algorithms. The thesis examines the possibility of using additive technologies in the production of porcelain products, both in the production of molds and in the direct production by SLA technology. It also includes the development of material for 3D printing from porcelain and finding suitable process parameters for printing.
Design of Headphones
Vítek, Jan ; Rubínová, Dana (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The theme of my bachelor thesis is analysis and design of headphones suitable for sport, with headband and volume and song control. In this thesis I focus on ergonomic, construction and esthetic quality of my design. The target of my thesis is to unite modern design with intuitive control.
Design of an Electric Motorcycle
Vítek, Jan ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The pressure to reduce emissions and the related massive support for electromobility is growing in the world. In addition to environmental friendliness, electric vehicles have several other benefits, such as low operating costs, easier maintenance, lower noise etc. However, they are still bothered by problems with range and an insufficient network of charging stations. In an urban environment, this problem largely disappears, and on the contrary, the ecological aspect is the most pressing here. In addition, due to the density of urban traffic, the demand for single-track vehicles is growing. The solution is an electric motorcycle for the urban environment, which effectively solves these problems. Therefore, the work deals with the design of an electric motorcycle for the urban environment in cooperation with the company MSR Engines, on a technical basis provided by this company.
Design of Urban Electromobile
Vítek, Jan ; Karásek, David (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the exterior design of an urban electric vehicle and the implementation of technologies into the proposed design, which is promising for future applications in the automotive industry. The analytical part of this work is concerned with the history of electric vehicles, the available contemporary technologies and further analyses the visual properties of electric vehicles. The design of the electric vehicle is presented in the practical part. The shape and the composition of the vehicle is described in detail, and further the applied technologies, ergonomics and design elements of the electric car are presented.
