Motivation of non-teaching staff for education

The thesis deals with the issue of further education of non-teaching staff which falls within the field of employee care. Today's society places ever higher demands on workers and organizations in the field of education, so it is necessary for schools to focus on the continuing education not only for teaching staff but also for other workers, so-called non-teaching staff. These workers also need to maintain a certain status in society which they will only be able to do if they have the opportunity to develop and further their education. The theoretical part is divided into three parts. The first chapter introduces the field of lifelong learning, formal, non- formal, informal education and andragogy. The next chapter focuses on the specificities of adult education. It also describes the needs of the motivation of adult individuals to learn. The last section then introduces the barriers that greatly affect adult education. The last chapter defines the concepts of education, development and learning. It also deals with the analysis and identification of the training needs of the workforce and last but not least, the planning of workforce training which is essential in any organization. Well-being of secondary school teachers in Prague

This thesis deals with the subjective perception of well-being among secondary school teachers in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis first defines the basic concepts related to the topic, namely the definition of the concept of well-being itself, which is viewed from many sources, as it is a very broad term. At the same time, the history of the term, its inclusion in andragogical reality and the topicality of the topic are described. Subsequently, all the areas that fall under this term are described, the ways in which well-being can be measured, but also possible obstacles to well-being are described. Then the theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the teaching profession and the problematic areas that fall within this profession - demandingness, salary, prestige and others. The practical part focuses on qualitative research, in which data and opinions of individual teachers on their subjective perception of well-being, their current state, possible obstacles they perceive and what they perceive as key to their own well-being are collected through semi-structured interviews; at the same time, some additional questions are answered to reveal the relationships between different areas and well-being itself. The Evaluation of pedagogical staff

The topic of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of teaching staff. The aim of the thesis is to describe the evaluation tools used for evaluation of teaching staff in private primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic and to propose an optimisation of the evaluation system based on the results. The thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the issue of teacher evaluation and presents a summary of methods of teacher evaluation that can be used to improve the quality of education. In the theoretical part, concepts such as forms, criteria, functions, process and methods of evaluation are introduced. The specific aspects of teacher evaluation and the importance of communication of evaluation results to staff, mistakes of evaluators and evaluated, as well as evaluation principles, new trends in this field and possible uses of evaluation results are described. The practical part of the thesis is based on a questionnaire survey among principals of private primary and secondary schools. The results show that lesson observations and self-evaluation are the most commonly used tools for teacher evaluation. The diploma thesis deals with the identification of methods of education of managers and finding an effective way to develop their competencies. Describes managerial abilities, skills and the process of systematic education and development. Line managers from the private sector are selected for qualitative research. The interviews reveal what methods they use for their personal development and what their preferred development methods are. Other managerial topics that come with a managerial position are not left out. What preceded the transfer to the role of manager? How do managers work with people? How do they develop them? What leadership style do they use? How do they communicate with people during company changes? How do they develop themselves and their team? How do they take care of their mental health so that they do not burn out? Employee benefits of pedagogical staff of selected schools

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the provision of employee benefits to teaching staff and the use of this area as a human resource management tool for school management. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes knowledge about the issue from the professional literature, defines basic terms and serves as a basis for the following practical part. The empirical part describes the method of setting the goals of the thesis, i.e. describing the use of providing benefits as a human resource management tool from the point of view of the management of selected schools, the methodology of the research and presents the results of the research, including their interpretation and discussion. Qualitative research was carried out at three selected secondary schools in Prague, using semi-structured interviews with school principals and a subsequent questionnaire among the pedagogical staff of the given schools. The result of the research is an answer to the research questions, i.e. how the management of selected schools uses employee benefits as a human resources management tool, what benefits are offered to the teachers at selected schools and which benefits are the most popular among teachers at selected schools.
