Kindergarten in Brno

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of kindergarten in Brno at Údolní street near the public park Onilní trh. The aim of this project is to create a new building for education of preschool children. The building respects its surroundings and at the same time complements the historical part of the city. The site is located in the gap between buildings. Part of the design is also a garden for children. The project uses the terrain rising toward Špilberk castle. The building has a green roof which is accessible from the terrain. The object is one floor barrier-free with two separated departments. The capacity of one department is 24 children. The ground plan and layout support children’s education. The object is in the U shape. The playrooms are oriented to the southeast. Playrooms are diverted from the busy street Údolní and public areas. Between the wings with playrooms is a closed area for children’s outdoor stay. There is a passage in the building that connects the garden with the playground. The facade of the whole object is made of wood. The wooden facade corresponds to the nearby object of Otevřená zahrada Nadace Partnerství. There are circular windows with colour glazing. Glazing transmits colourful light to the interior.

New trends in acquiring customers through online marketing platforms on the example of ŠKODA AUTO a.s.

ŠKODA AUTO Inc. is nowadays trying to reach out to customers more with digital communication because of the changes brought by the technology of smartphones and the internet. This theses focuses on the techniques of online marketing alongside with digital brand strategy. Using specific online platforms, the ŠKODA AUTO company tries to introduce the brand to people who do not know the brand yet and tries to connect it more with the sponzorship of the company. The aim is to familiarize the reader with the selected types of communication activities, to describe the principles of their functioning and to analyze the strategy that is behind the creativity. Then to analyze the success of these channels, the available data and to recommend possible changes in the communication strategy.

Left-handed child in nursery school

The diploma paper is focusing on the education of lef-handed children in nursery schools and the availability of information about sinistrality for teaching professionals and parents. The theoretical part is describing the methods of laterality diagnostics as well as defining the terms sinistrality and left-handedness. It is also focusing on the educational leadership of sinistral pre-school children and how the society evolved over time in terms of its attitude towards left-handedness. A vital part of this thesis is the mapping of available information in expert publications, specialised magazines and internet resources. The practical part is researching the experience of nursery and primary school teachers with left-handed pupils. The experiment is based on two equally large groups of righ-handed and left-handed children and is comparing the level of abilites required for scissor cutting.

Relationships between members of stepfamilies and the well-being of the child

Blended families are an increasingly common type of family cohabitation. However, very little is known about the specifics of relationships between individual members of these families and how these relationships affect the personal well-being of the child in these families. The literature review section summarizes the findings of foreign research dealing with the specifics of relationships between individual members of blended families and how these relationships affect children's well-being in these families. The empirical part describes the research investigation and its results. The aim of the research was to find out what parenting styles are used by parents and stepparents in blended families, to compare relationships between different types of siblings and to find out how these relationships and parenting styles are related to children's well-being in these families and family belonging. Sibling Relationships in Blended Families

This bachelor thesis concerns with sibling relationships in blended families. At the beginning, issue of blended families and the importance of sibling relationships in general are summarize. It also deals briefly with the impact of divorce or death of a parent on sibling relationship, because these two events are prior to blended families. The issues of sibling relations in blended families are analysed mainly in terms of their quality. In this thesis a quantitative questionnaire survey focused on the quality of relations between siblings in blended families, supplemented by semi-structured interviews, is presented. Criminal offence of poaching

114 Summary In my work I would like to put near the problems of criminal offence of poaching, with which the general public meets very rarely. First of all, in this, work I tried to take into parts this provision of criminal law from the sight of material criminal law. I tried to draw attention to problems of poaching commission in the Czech Republic and to describe in details the legal signs of factum of poaching delict. I could not, of course, to leave out excursion into history, because poaching belongs among unlawful conducts with a very rich history, which ranges back until at Early Middle Ages and it is linked with dividing of society according property right, and in my opinion it is a very interesting topic. First of all in the parts of historical chapter of poaching is well seen, that rulers and their counsellors were able to create specifications - patents, which are up-to-date (actual) nowadays. Many historical documents, which concern to poaching, would be used effectively in present-day legislation. Of course, I do not mean capital punishments or torture, which the poachers had to pass at apprehension at unlawful hunting, nevertheless for example, provision about longtimed prisons for organized poaching groups, expended in patent of the ruler Maria Terezia would have actual signs nowadays.
