Anotation This thesis analyses the process of learning of an adult person with disabilities. It focuses on the value of education as perceived by the society, and on the meaning of education for the life of an individual. The thesis presents the main paradigms in the field of adult education, especially education of persons with disabilities. The paradigms are based on requirements of life-long learning programs and of other scientific disciplines, dealing with education and guidance of adults. The thesis also gives the general characteristics of adult education as such and describes the main specifics of persons with disabilities. Attitudes of young people with disabilities to academic education

This thesis deals with issues of level and structure of education of contemporary Czech population with a view to the target group of disabled people. It talks about historical evolution in this field, current trends and available statistical data, which represent it. A prominent theme of the thesis is a lower number of disabled people with university education in comparison with intact population. We will have a short look at supportive measures for students with special needs at Czech universities as well. Then, a part of the thesis is a survey which examines attitudes of young disabled people towards university education. The current employing situation of people with disabilities in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the employment of disabled people in the Czech Republic. There is also a description of foreign systems of the employment of disabled people, concretely in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the United Kingdom. After the descriptive part of individual systems, there is their comparison and the choice of working elements from abroad which could improve the Czech system. Then, the thesis includes orientation questionnaire survey, which focuses on the level of foreknowledge and orientation of HR specialists in the area of the employment of disabled people in the Czech Republic.

People with special needs in andragogical process and their career opportunities

This bachelor's thesis concerns with problematic of people with special disabilities. It contains several areas that are connected with disabled citizens. With regard to domain of this study, the impact insists mainly the education and employment of these people. At the beginning of this study there is a short historical view of attitudes to this group and modern legislative which applies to this group. In the next chapters, the study speaks about education and empoying people with disabilities. Last but not least, we will discuss influence of EU at this sphere and forms of consultancy activities that are essential for people with special needs
