Marešová, Tereza ; High, Radka (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
The thesis deals with the use of coaching methods in education, specifically the position of the student coach and the possibilities of his/her work within the school counselling office. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part defines the activities of the individual members of the school counselling office and the anchoring of these positions in the legislation along with the required qualifications and education. It also mentions coaching, its possible definitions and related concepts, and outlines the position of coaching in education in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part focuses on the actual research, which took place at a private language highschool in Prague for one school year. It first presents the characteristics of the school, which is complemented by a quantitative analysis and provides an overview of the composition of the school counselling department at this particular school, the representation of pupils in each year group and other features. Next, the paper outlines the activities of the student coach, in particular the course of consultations, methods and tools used. At the same time, it describes in detail the specific cases of three pupils who benefited from the possibility of consultation with a study coach, their initial state, the course of...
Problematics of newborns with hip dysplasia on the ward of physiological newborns
MAREŠOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis is dedicated to problems of physiological newborns with a hip dysplasia in the department of physiological newborns. The thesis is divided in the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part contains the hip joint description, it's anatomy and physiology. Then history of the hip joint dysplasia treatment, etiology and diagnostics of the developmental hip joint dysplasia. We also pursue examination methods, evaluation and dysplasia treatment. First of all also caretaker's care of newborns with the defect. In the practical part the qualitative research investigation was used as well as the questionnaire method and the technique of half-structured deep interviews. The reasearch file is composed of 11 women, 5 mothers, who have children with a hip joint dysplasia and 6 midwifes and child nurses working in the deparmtent of physiological newborns in the chosen hospital in the South - Bohemian region. 3 targets were given. The first target was to map the task of caretakers' staff in the hip joint dysplasia screening. The second was to map specifics of caretakers' care of the newborns with the hip joint dysplasia in the department of physiological newborns. The thirs target was to map the caretakers' task in mothers' education. For these targets 4 research questions were placed. The first question examines the task of caretakers in the hip joint dysplasia screening. The second question examines the specifics of the caretakers' care of newborns with a hip joint dysplasia in the department of physiological newborns. The third question asks for the way how are mothers educated by caretaker's staff about the hip joint dysplasia. On the base of research 8 categories and 25 sub-categories were defined. The fisrt 4 categories are dedicated to mothers. The first category is dedicated to the mothers' konwledge about the disease before diagnostics, the next one is dedicated to treatment and result possibilities. The second category examines the nurses education from the perspective of mothers and mainly hygiene education, régime and movement, we were focused on the way of eduaction. The third category is dedicated to care specifis from the perspective of mothers, here we examine treatment aids and problems which met mothers during the treatment. The baby examination from the perspective of mothers examines the fourth category. Here we followed how the baby was examined in the department, next examinations and how was the baby prepared by a mother for the examination and how a nurse participated. Next followed the categories which pursue caretakers' staff. The fifth category examines caretakers' knowledge, mainly kind and usage of aids, risky factors, VDK signs, which can nurses or midwifes follow, next examinations and amount of knowledge evaluation. In the sixth category we examined the education from the perspective of caretakers' staff. In the category we examined the way of education and how the staff educates mothers in the sphere of hygiene and care of skin and movement. We also wanted to know how they would improve the education. The seventh category is dedicated to examination from the perspective of caretakers' staff. We focused on the task of nurses or midwifes during the examination, how was the baby examined and how was prepared for the examination. The last category focuses on the specifics of care of newborns with a hip dysplasia in the department of physiological newborns. All the responders were acquainted with the Bachelor thesis topic and were informed about keeping anonymous in the research. A midwife is competent to work in the department of physiological newborns, that's why I think it is important to know at least basic information and be able to educate a mother properly.

Roudel: Ethnographic insight into the experience of the players of Dungeons and Dragons Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Marek Halbich, Ph.D. Bc. Tereza Marešová 2022 Abstract In this project, I try my hand at ethnography of the game Dungeons and Dragons through the experience of one specific group of players in a long-term game campaign which through game elements builds sociality between players. I deal with issues of binarity of everyday life and game experience through the theory of the Magic Circle, the virtual pre-cybernetic nature of this game and community and its influence on building relationships, game structure, rules and ways of interacting with them, reasons why players return to this game repeatedly and possible problematic consequences. I also look at my experience with this very ethnography- friendly game, which supports my conclusions. The research is conducted in a closed group of Czech players holding through two campaigns between 2019 and 2022, with additional interviews from other volunteers from the ranks of Czech Dungeons and Dragons players. Keywords: Dungeons and Dragons, virtual world, pre-cybernetic, Magic circle, Active Aesthetic experience, Social ties, campaign
Genetická struktura mediteránních populací kaloně Rousettus aegyptiacus
Marešová, Tereza ; Hulva, Pavel (advisor) ; Bryja, Josef (referee)
5 Abstract The genus Rousettus represents the only fruit bat genus distributed both in Asia and Africa reaching northern distributional limits of the Pteropodidae family. This unusual distribution pattern is related to the ability of echolocation, subsequent cave dwelling and probably other thermoregulatory and behavioural adaptations to relatively cold and dry climate. Methods for identification of genetically discrete populations were used in the presented study to acquire better comprehension of historical ways of colonization along with current dispersal and migratory patterns of the Egyptian fruit bat (Rousettus aegyptiacus) in the Mediterranean basin and adjacent range patches. Modern approaches to population and landscape genetics were applied on a dataset comprising 553 individuals from 72 localities using 20 nuclear microsatellites. Our results revealed a significant genetic distance of East African individuals and certain substructure in the northern part of the range. Cypriot population is clearly separated, and - for higher K - the isolation of colonies from Egyptian oases is highly supported. Genetic proximity of south Arabian and Sinai populations contradict current taxonomy of the species. Our findings highlight the role of seas and deserts as barriers restricting gene flow and the evolution...
Development and Structure of Juvenile Crime in the Czech Republic
Marešová, Tereza ; Marešová, Alena (advisor) ; Zoubková, Ivana (referee)
The main content of the thesis is development and structure of juvenile delinquency in the Czech Republic between years 2007 and 2017, focusing on current trends and problematic aspects in this area, on prevention, alternative measures and approaches in criminal proceedings and on recidivism of youth offenders. The premise of the paper is that educational and therapeutic measures should be more used in criminal procedure in juvenile court. The first part of the thesis defines the basic terms used by the author in his analysis, brief historical development of the juvenile justice system as an independent institute and the characteristics and causes of juvenile delinquency, which have their specifics. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to the analysis of development and structure of juvenile delinquency in the years 2007 to 2017. In this part, the author also deals with the imposed sanctions and the structure of crime in 2017 and analyzes the percentage decline of property crime and other current trends that affect structure and tendencies of delinquency. These trends include, in particular, the access of young people to the Internet from an early age and spending time on social networks, which pose some risks in terms of crime. The main part of the thesis also focuses on the issue of...
Art technic with two years old children in the kindergarden
MAREŠOVÁ, Tereza
The topic of this bachelor thesis is art techniques with two-year-old or more precisely two to three-year-old children in preschools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I characterize the development of this aged children from the perspective of physiological, cognitive and emotional functions. In the practical part I deal with individual art techniques and their methodical processing, including time-requirements, aids, and the approach for individual activities including evaluation. The goal of this work is to determine whether children ranging in age from two to three years and being newly integrated into the preschool are able to understand the process of art techniques and do them- with or without help- or at least imitate them. A further goal is to determine which of the applied techniques are least troublesome for the children and which bring the biggest challenges. For my research I chose the method of observation because it is most relevant to this topic with regard to the assignment and also to the age of the children. The conclusion summarizes all the findings and recommendations.
Approaches and attitudes of Germany and the United Kingdom towards Common Security and Defence Policy
Marešová, Tereza ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare and contrast the approaches and attitudes of the United Kingdom and Germany towards the development of Common Security and Defence Policy of the EU (CSDP). Its main objective is to describe national strategic cultures of both states and to answer the question how NATO affects the approches of both countries to CSDP and how this approaches are expressed in military mission EUFOR Althea in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in police mission EUPOL Afghanistan. Based on an analysis and comparison of the approches and attitudes towards national both British and German strategic cultures the author concludes that the United Kingdom preferes cooperation within the frame of NATO and it supports participation in mission EUFOR Althea beyond police mission EUPOL Afghanistan. While Germany cooperates with both organisations EU and NATO and it prefers participation in police mission EUPOL Afghanistan because of humanitarian element. The author also concludes that German concept of civilian power is partially passed because the state seeks possible solutions within military forces and projection of power which is historically rejected by German public opinion.
