Second grade students' menstruation cycle awareness

The thesis focuses on menstrual cycle literacy of students at a selected primary school. The main focus of the thesis is primarily on the basic information on menstruation and how to clarify the topic to the chosen respondents. The aim of the paper is to determine the students' awareness regarding this topic, specify discrepancies and, if necessary, refute false information. The paper is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part covers terms menstruation, the historical context of the menstrual cycle, the anatomy of internal and external reproductive organs and characteristics of menstrual cycle disorders. The practical part contains an analysis of data gained by means of two survey and a plan of a lecture on menstruation. The gained data are summarized and compared in the conclusion. The analysis of the data obtained by means of two questionnaires shows a growing tendency in the number of correct answers. After the second submission, the rate of correct answrs grew from 50,5 % up to 77,6 %. The analysis proved that the awareness of this topic is almost similar throughout the classes involved. Educational program focused on the basics of proper nutrition of children in kindergarten

The thesis is focused on the topic of healthy lifestyle of preschool-age children with the support of educational facilities in which the child is. For this reason are, in the theoretical part, introduced the concepts of health and its determinants, the ontogenesis of the children and adolescent, individual areas of healthy lifestyle and support of these areas at preschool children. The following part is dedicated to the Czech educational system and part of its curriculum focused on the health of the pupil, which is taught at kindergartens. The text is complemented by researches connected with the foreign efforts of implementation of the program of the healthy lifestyle promotion program to the facilities of preschool education. The term "inclusion in education" is also mentioned. In the practical part is the introduction of the suggested educational program focused on the basics of proper nutrition of children in kindergarten and its evaluation.
Didactic recommendation for teaching HIV/AIDS issue at a primary school

This diploma thesis puts as its goal to define didactical recommendations for teaching HIV/AIDS issue at a primary school and thus provide support for effective teaching about this topic. It presents information about the analyzed issue and by using quantitative anonymous questionnare research among pupils of eighth grade of three chosen primary schools, it determines their knowledge and attitudes towards the HIV/AIDS topic. Based on the results of applied pre-test research it puts forward the proposal of a teaching unit which is then realized in the target group. Then by means of post-test examination, it is verified how effective the designed teaching unit was and how much in contributed to increasing the knowledge of the respondents. Realisation of the teaching unit increased their knowledge by about 37.5% (from the former 54.2% of correct answers to knowledge-based questions to 91.7%) and it can therefore be considered as effective. The main topics of the teaching unit were the diagnostics of HIV positivity, the question of curability of HIV/AIDS, development of the epidemiological situation, difference between the terms HIV and AIDS and the means of transmission of the HIV virus. Health literacy of pupils of secondary school practical

The diploma thesis is focused on the education of pupils with mild mental disorders. The aim of the thesis is to find out what is the health literacy of pupils with mild mental disorders attending the second degree of elementary school. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of health, health literacy, health education. It introduces health determinants and deals with health prevention. It further characterizes, defines, describes and classifies mental disorders and describes the educational and personality characteristics of pupils with mild mental disorders. It thoroughly describes educational specialization called health education. The practical part introduces goals of the diploma thesis. It contains a research survey which verifies the theoretical and practical knowledge of pupils in the educational specialization called health education. Research has confirmed that more than half of pupils have theoretical knowledge and apply them in practical life. The research was conducted in the form of an interview. At the end of the thesis there are recommendations for pedagogical practice. This thesis deals with the health and quality of life of elementary school teachers. The aim of this thesis is to provide informations on selected aspects of the health and quality of life of teachers. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and research part. For the collection of data of research part was used the questionnaire method. The questionnaire verifies assumptions that have been drawn up on the basis of practical experience from the teacher's work. Some assumptions have been confirmed, others have not. At the end of the research, suggestions for a practice responding to the survey results are presented. Kybergrooming at the elementary schools

In my master thesis I deal with the issue of pupils' movement in the online space, I observe number of different online features that may be potentially confusing or dangerous to children, as well as phenomena that can directly threaten the children. I also monitor the activities of the children themselves, how they deal with their personal data and how they care for their own safety. I pay special attention to social networks and pathologies on them, addiction, cyberstalking, sexting, online bullying and the utmost attention to cyberspace issues. In my survey, it turns out that the profile of some of the social networks has the vast majority of pupils in the elementary school, some of them younger than the official minimum age limit on these networks. Own personal data share about nine children out of ten. 6 % of the questioned children commit significant risk behaviour, 48 % have already encountered cyberbullying and 42 % of children committing some risky behaviour do not think they should behave more cautiously in the virtual world.
Analysis of selected textbooks health education

In this diploma thesis I look at the Analysis of selected textbook health education through the eyes of teachers who use it in their lessons. The theoretical part of this thesis serves as an introduction to the complex topic of textbooks and lays out the criteria according to which a textbook is chosen. In the practical part I carry out a didactic analysis of the textbook and I present a summary of experience of teachers who have worked with it. The practical part shows that teachers's experience does not differ significantly from the findings of the didactic analysis. The textbook's unusual approach to teaching health education is prominent in both surveys. This thesis aims to help junior health education teachers decide whether and how this particular textbook will benefit their own teaching method. The issue of implementation of the education of health education in biology

The present Master's thesis is concerned with the issue of implementation health education as a part of school subject called Biology at a chosen primary and secondary school. The aim of the thesis is to verify the functionality of curriculum implementation at the chosen school and also to propose a right model of implementation health education as a part of Biology easily applicable from own teaching experience. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with a brief characterization of education in the Czech Republic, The Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and relating significant terms, School Education programme and educational areas. The practical part is focused on real situation of implementation health education as a part of Biology at the chosen primary and secondary school where I work as a teacher. I was doing my research in Year eight and nine that is given health education lessons. I used a knowledge questionnaire as a method of research. The practical part investigated and brought aggregate information about the issue of implementation of given fields of education, which I used for my own project.
