Ground floor includes a reception and provides an access to all buildings compartments so as the courtyard, followed by Juran´s hall and IBC centrum. From first to- fourth floor of the northern part there are offices and shops.
PEG-based semi-interpenetrating polymer network hydrogels
Kadlecová, Michaela ; Kalina, Michal (referee) ; Sedláček, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with optimization of the preparation of hydrogels based on polymer networks of polyehtylene glycol with the incorporation of a semi-interpenetrating polymer networking and the following chemical-physical characterization of the prepared hydrogels. Polyehtylen glycol diacrylate was chosen from the range of polyethylene glycol modifications as a model material for the formation of hydrogels. Based on this, the preparation using UV photopolymerization was optimized. After optimization of the preparation, selections and following incorporation of the polyelectrolyte took place. Sodium polystyrene sulfonate was chosen as a model polyelectrolyte. Then, there was a basic characterization and comparison of the prepared hydrogels based on polyethylene glycol diacrylate with and without the addition of polyecletrolyte. Swelling, rheology, scanning electron microscopy were used for basic characterization and transport characteristics were investigated using diffusion.
Interpretation of fairy tales Alice in Wonderland
KADLECOVÁ, Milena
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the explanation of the concept of art therapy, on the topic of personal identity and its development. The thesis also focuses on the function of fantasy and its application in dreams and imagination. In the theoretical part there is a chapter about symbols and archetypes including their explanation and possibilities for using in relation to the theme of the fairy tale Alice in Wonderland. There is also a comparison of the book version and filmed version of the story. The thesis contains a detailed analysis of the pictures including interview with three participants of the research on the topic of Alice in Wonderland, also the analysis of the pictures, that were artistically worked by members of three different age groups. The aim to find out what personal themes are opened up to clients, what is the usage of the active imagination and what symbols are used in the artistic works, that all based on the fairy tale Alice in Wonderland.
The role of adrenergic system in genetic hypertension
Loučková, Anna ; Kadlecová, Michaela (advisor) ; Husková, Zuzana (referee)
The adrenergic system plays an important role in the regulation of blood pressure. In the spontaneously hypertensive rat, the most studied model of essential hypertension, many components of the adrenergic system are altered. Changes in expression level of any catecholamine biosynthetic enzymes or any adrenergic receptor subtypes could be one of the causes of hypertension development. In this work, the expression of adrenergic system genes was measured in adrenal gland, renal cortex and renal medulla of the spontaneously hypertensive (SHR), Wistar-Kyoto and Brown Norway rats at the age of thirteen weeks. In adrenal gland of SHR, all four catecholamine biosynthetic enzymes (tyrosine hydroxylase, DOPA decarboxylase, dopamine β-hydroxylase and phenylethanolamine-N- methyltransferase) and almost all subtypes of adrenergic receptors (with the exception of Adra1a and Adra1d) were underexpressed. This generally decreased expression in adrenal gland of SHR suggests that at least a part of regulation of adrenergic system gene expression is common. The mechanism of this downregulation in SHR could be a negative feedback through adrenergic receptors stimulated by high plasma noradrenaline concentration. In the kidney of SHR, there were no differences in the expression of most of adrenergic receptor subtypes with the...
Social and pedagogical help to cictims of home violence
Kadlecová, Martina ; Lorenzová, Jitka (advisor) ; Chrdlová, Michaela (referee)
The thesis deals with social and pedagogical aspects of a home violence. The preface defines the basic terms related to the home violence issue and an attention is paid to the home violence actors. The following chapter deals with the meaning of prevention of the home violence, the emphasis being placed on the primary prevention. The thesis also outlines the possibilities of a legal protection and help to home violence victims from the point of view of legal standards. The core part of the thesis focuses on social and pedagogical help to home violence victims, where social and pedagogical aspects of the work with the home violence victims are defined. Attention is paid not only to the direct work with the home violence victims but also to other systems of help to actors of home violence. A meaning of the interdisciplinary cooperation is raised here in solving the home violence and activities of institutions providing help to home victims are described. The last chapter of the theoretical thesis offers an evaluation of the present system of help provided to the home violence victims in CR. The empirical survey finds out the current status of awareness of the selected sample of the population about the home violence, then its attitudes towards the same and the experience with it. The conducted survey found...

Cooperation Between Czech NGOs Network and European Networks
Kadlecová, Markéta ; Dohnalová, Marie (advisor) ; Deverová, Lenka (referee)
This master's thesis provides a qualitative study of the cooperation between the Czech NGOs networks and European networks. The theoretical part defines the concept of networks, their functions, assets and disadvantages, and introduces the relevant empirical research carried out in the Czech Republic. Further, it gives an overview of the European NGOs networks, including the analysis of both advantages of EU policy on this issue, and the disadvantages of transnational networking in a national NGOs perspective as well as in a broader context. The empirical part provides a case study of two Czech networks participating in the European networks focused on analysing the networks cooperation, the form, the assets and the difficulties, and finally places the obtained research data into a broader theoretical context in oder to suggest the recommendations for cooperation improvement.
Obesity in Patiens with Psoriasis as a Risk Factor of Ischemic Heart Disease
Kadlecová, Markéta ; Arenberger, Petr (advisor)
Psoriasis is a chronic, systemic, inflammatory skin disease. There is a significant risk of many comorbidities in psoriatic patients, the most prominent of these being Metabolic Syndrome (obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipoproteinemia). Metabolic Syndrome contributes to increased mortality and morbidity rate, owing to cardiovascular diseases in particular. Psoriasis itself is another contributing factor. In comparison with normal population, the mortality rate in patients with severe psoriasis is two times higher. Psoriasis and some of its comorbidities have the same pathophysiology. The same cytokines, such as TNF-alpha and inflammatory cells are involved. Integrated approach in therapy focused on the underlying inflammation may reduce the cardiovascular risk in obese patients with psoriasis. An important step in the care of patients with this combination of ailments is the prevention of ischemic heart disease, as the risk of it is higher in them. Apart from general recommendations, one can apply specific approaches. An example of these is the treatment of obesity-induced inflammation, secondary prevention of psoriasis, anti-inflammatory systemic therapy and biological therapy.
