1 TITLE: Summer sports courses at secondary schools AUTHOR: Bc. Tereza Bobačíková DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education Faculty of Education of Charles University SUPERVISOR: Ph.Dr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The thesis deals with the issue of summer sports courses at secondary schools. I find that high schools offer summer sports courses, what is the diversity of their offerings, material and personnel support and interest from students, respectively. the reasons for their lack of interest or dissatisfaction with the offer. The theoretical part deals with activities and education in nature and their importance for children and youth. Zooming important concepts and trends associated with this area. In the next chapter I focus on the content of the summer sports courses with a range of sporting activities. Acquainted with the guidelines and safety principles for the successful conduct of the event. The research part describes the objectives and results of the research survey. The main aim of the thesis was to compare the offer with sports courses at various secondary schools in Prague 10. Sports games as an elective course in a secondary school

This thesis deals with interest of the students of the Secondary school of social services of Kavčí hory in an optional course in sports and games. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part briefly introduces the history of physical education in Czech schools, development of the subject physical education and its optional form of sports and games, and selected forms of extracurricular activities. The practical part demonstrates the results of a survey conducted at the Secondary school of social services of Kavčí hory and their analysis. It also makes concrete recommendations for the school and its teachers of physical education with reference to the elective course in sports and games. The research has shown that a sufficient number of students from the school have demonstrated an interest in the elective course in sports and games and, therefore, the subject could be offered (and enough students would enrol). As regards the content, the students were most interested in volleyball, gymnastics, floorball and general sports activities. TITLE: Achievements of our athletes at the Paralympic Games AUTHOR: Bc. Anna Brůžková DEPARTMENT: Department of Psysical Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The thesis is focused on the achievements of our athletes at the Paralympic Games. The thesis is splited to the several section, which is devoted to problems related to basic concepts, history of sports activities of disabled people and historical view of the Paralympic Games. I also focused on the description of the individual sports that are on the summer and winter Paralympic Games. One of the important section is the classification for disability and classification for sports. In the section the achievements of our athletes we find out which games are the most successful for Czech Republic, which sport is the best for us, which disability and gender dominates gain medals and in the end, who is our most successful Paralympian. NAME: Determine the dependence of performance in selected athletic disciplines students in primary schools AUTHOR: Radek Vopršálek DEPARTMENT: Katedra tělesné výchovy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of this thesis is to explore the relationship and dependency between performances in chosen sports disciplines for pupils of primary school. The disciplines I have chosen to determine the relative performance are: long jump and 60 meters sprint. In the theoretical part there is a description and analysis of these sports disciplines. In the practical part there is a measurement of pupils' performances in that two sports disciplines and creating a dependency relationship between them.
