BUSINESS PLAN – Product Portfolio Expansion

This bachelor's thesis deals with business plan specifically extension of business portfolio. This portfolio should be enlarged by Quick Release System which allows quick assembly and dismantling propellers from UAVs. The dissertation is divided into three main parts. The first part describes the theoretical knowledge in the field of business economy and marketing. The second chapter is dedicated to description of product and analysis of the current state. The third part contains suggestion of introduction Quick Release System to the market based on theoretical knowledge and performed analysis.
The Plumbing Systems in the Dwelling House

Abstract This bachelor´s work was worked out as project documentation of piping system and sewerage system in a block of flats. The building has got 1 underground floor and 8 above – ground floors. In the underground we can find a technical room and storage rooms for residents of this building. There are flats on above-ground floors. Next part of this work are calculations dealing with this project. There is a research dealing with piping systems in high buildings too.

There are performed several possiblities of projects for plumbing systems. Project part was worked out in cooperation with technical company wich produces equipment for bakery factories. How IOT changes business model of Microsoft

The main goal of this thesis is to discover how an emerging technological megatrend, the Internet of Things, changes the business model of the Microsoft OEM team. OEM business is fully dependent on sales of Windows licenses; however, the PC market is declining and whole Microsoft is shifting into offering of cloud services while being financed by the OEM revenues. Nevertheless, the strategy of how the OEM team fits into the future of cloud offerings is clearly missing. To discover what changes should be made inside the current business model, 13 interviews with managers across Microsoft were conducted and analyzed. Identified themes were assigned to business model building blocks, ranked by the importance, and supported by relevant quotes from interviews as well as the theoretical background. The most important subjects of changes were identified as partners, activities and value proposition; however, changes will be seen in every aspect of the OEM business. As a result, specific changes in building blocks are described and the first steps towards the Internet of Things strategy suggested. That will ensure the relevance of the conservative OEM team in the connected future.

Marketing strategy of a selected brand

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze marketing strategy of Argentinean wine brand Michel Torino. For deeper analysis, this brand is compared with Chilean wine brand Viňa Tarapacá. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part contains explanation of concepts and topics that are essential for this topic. The practical part describes the Czech wine market, it also mentions basic characteristics of the exclusive importer of these brands. Consequently, brands Michel Torino and Viňa Tarapacá are presented. The brand awareness and brand image is analyzed based on the primary data obtained in research. The second research focuses on actual situation of the brand Michel Torino in the Czech republic, it examines the question of rebranding. The thesis is concluded with recommendations for improvements for the brand Michel Torino and Viňa Tarapacá on the Czech market.
Use of marketing tools on social networks

This thesis mainly deals with the practical use of marketing tools in Czech social networks environment. The theoretical part introduces integration of social media concept into basic marketing theory, it also maps Czech Internet environment and brings readers summary of the most popular Czech and international social networks along with its brief history. The aim of this work is the creation of structure of marketing tools in order to maximize the effectiveness of Facebook profile. For this purpose I described basic measurable quantities that are essential for the possibility of comparing the effectiveness of different sized pages on social networks. The work is supported by practical demonstration from Czech Facebook environment that aims to present effectiveness of proposed solutions.
