Effects of Vojta's reflex locomotion on lung function
Drábková, Lenka ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Bitnar, Petr (referee)
Introduction: The aim of this thesis is to answer a question if it is possible to influence ventilation parameters with an application of Vojta's reflex locomotion, which is one of the neurophysiologic techniques. The thesis confronts actual knowledge and relation between respiratory and postural function of "respiratory" muscles and the diaphragm and possibility of its reflex affection. Methods: With a spirometry we assess the impact of short-time activation of Reflex locomotion on the lung functions in a group of 21 healthy subjects in age 18 - 33 years. The study evaluates the effect of activation in two situations. First, it is instantaneous effect of Vojta's method on lung function. Second situation is the assessment of the time duration of evoked effect of activation and make out, if the changes are seen also after 25 minutes over the end of Vojta's stimulation. Results: Based on the interpretation of the both monitored situations, we set up an observation that short time activation of Vojta's reflex therapy has an effect on respiratory mechanics and thus on the spirometric values. At the other side we realize that not all of the changes were significant and some of them were unadvisable. Moreover all of them had very short persistency, after 25 minute none of the observed changes of lung...
Method for authentication Basmati type rice (Oryza sativa L.) using microsatellite length polymorphism: methodology for practice
Ovesná, Jaroslava ; Drábková, Lenka ; Kučera, Ladislav
The objective of the method is the proceudre how to identify traditional varieties of Basmati rice (TB) specified in the Implementing Regulation EU no. 706/2014 devoted to control laboratories in practice. This method enables to identify varieties exempt from duty in the EU. The test consists of microsatellite loci amplification by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using specific primers, and subsequent analysis of the length of the products.

Isolation and characterization of laccase gene in barley(Hordeum vulgare).
Drábková, Lenka ; Kučera, Ladislav (advisor) ; Čurn, Vladimír (referee) ; Fischer, Lukáš (referee)
Laccases are one of the oldest enzymes ever studied. For the first time laccase was mentioned by Yoshida in 1883 (Yoshida H, 1883). Laccases (EC 1.10.3.2, p-diphenol-O2 oxidoreductase), are copper-containing enzymes and are part of a larger group of enzymes termed polyphenol oxidase. Laccases catalyze oxidation of a broad range of substrates e.g., polyphenols, substituted phenols, diamines, but also some anorganic compounds with the concomitant reduction of oxygen to water. The source of electrons in these redox reactions are usually four copper atoms. Fungal laccases, so far the most extensively studied group, are known for their roles in lignin degradation, bioremediation, morphogenesis and pathogenicity. Despite many years of research, the physiological function of laccases in plants remains largely unknown. Plant laccase have been proposed to be involved in lignification. It participates mainly in the synthesis of lignin, maintenance of the cell wall integrity and structure and wound healing. Laccases can catalyze a wide variety of enzymatic reactions and apparently have a role in plants response to stress. Plant laccases have been described especially in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana), corn (Zea mays), wheat and rice (Oryza sativa). Laccases have not been yet characterized in any others...
Functional changes motorics of breathing in pregnant women and their influence by the Physiotherapy
Chytrá, Markéta ; Smolíková, Libuše (advisor) ; Drábková, Lenka (referee)
During pregnancy there are many changes in the mother organism that influence each other. This bachelor's thesis summarizes the information about these significant changes. The thesis is focused on breathing mechanics and breathing patterns changes and considers ways how to influence and adapt breathing during physiologic pregnancy. One chapter points to psychosomatics of pregnant woman associated with the changes of organ systems and growth of foetus. The main part discusses possibilities of physiotherapeutic intervention which impact breathing patterns in pregnancy. The aim of physiotherapy in pregnancy is to effect breathing patterns within temporary postural deviations in gravidity and prepare the pregnant woman for delivery. Breathing has important role in delivery. In conclusion of the work there are written recomended sport activities and the principles which are advisable to be followed in pregnancy. The thesis is supplemented with a casuistry of pregnant patient.
