Předmětem metodiky je postup identifikace tradičních odrůd rýže typu Basmati (TB) uvedených v prováděcím nařízení komise EU č. 706/2014 ze dne 25. června 2014 pomocí analýzy délkového polymorfismu mikrosatelitů (SSR - Single Sequence Repeats) laboratořemi v praxi. Tato metoda umožní identifikovat vybrané odrůdy rýže typu Basmati i odrůdy odlišných typů rýže. Podstatou zkoušky je amplifikace úseků genomu obsahující daný mikrosatelitní lokus pomocí polymerázové řetězové reakce (PCR) se specifickými primery a následná analýza délky produktů. The objective of the method is the proceudre how to identify traditional varieties of Basmati rice (TB) specified in the Implementing Regulation EU no. 706/2014 devoted to control laboratories in practice. This method enables to identify varieties exempt from duty in the EU. The test consists of microsatellite loci amplification by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using specific primers, and subsequent analysis of the length of the products.
