Ve své práci se zabývám problematikou vzniku druhého hraného českého flmu po roce 2000. Snažím se popsat a zanalyzovat různé cesty vzniku druhého filmy, upozorňuji na hrozby a specifika, které s sebou vznik druhého filmu nese. V Neposlední řadě se snažím zmapovat mladou českou scénu po roce 2000, kde poukazuji na fakt, že mladý český film je momentálně v nejlepší kondici.
TV Events In Czech Republic

The diploma thesis offers in general the full overview of the Television Events in the Czech Republic. The work starts with the definition of the Television Event itself, goes over basic aspects, differences and specifics of these kinds of TV shows. The work is also pointing on dramaturgical and technological problems of the program. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes types of Events, the way how it is realized and the way how it is broadcasted. In this part we can also find the comparison of two types of Events (of the same kind). The second part focuses on practical things which emerge during preparations and shooting of Television Events. The third part concentrates on the extraordinary Television Event in the Czech surroundings called Mejdan roku z Václaváku (from the year 2008).

Specifics, Strategy and Creative Approach in PR at Current Czech Debuts? aims to study the area of Media Campaign of cinematography in Czech Republic. The reader should get a comprehensive survey how to create this kind of campaign in CR. Due to the number of films produced year round in our area, I focused on two Czech debuts, which were premiered at the end of 2009. This is Desperate of the director Jitka Rudolfová and Deuce from the director Jaroslav Fuit. Each of them worked with different budgets and campaign concepts. The thesis is also trying a brief glimpse into the future of media campaigns.
Film debut

My Bachelor's thesis aims at the film debut as not only a separate structure, but also as a natural segment in developmnet of the author. As a segment, which symbolizes self-reliance and preparation for realizing author's own subjects. One of the directions should be the statistic overwiew of the debut films in past 20 years in the Czech cinema and the positioning to the other films. Other direction of my Bachelor's thesis should be the time reflection to the years, before the Velvet revolution, and the relation to the similar fields of industry and branches. As a subjective could seem the effort to set up the typology of the debut and estimate projection of future development. This metodology I take as helpful tool for the widest possible approach to my topic.
Virtual Art Production

The mission of this work is to describe categories of virtual art, platforms for its implementation, needed creative professions and own process of virtual production. Attention is paid to particular aspects of the pre-production works and specific areas of virtual art production and post-production. The whole work is designed to allow film producers to enter the field of virtual production and approached them with current practice. Part of this work is the first comprehensive dictionary defining used abbreviations and technical terms.
Sitcom

This work consists of genre rules of a sitcom and describes two general phases of a producer's interest: development and realisation. The work conveys from practice which is established by Anglo-American production and tries to confront the practice in czech settings. The primal emphasis of the work is put into genre purity and supervision of the producer. The work is devided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with a definition of the genre and its history. It describes the beginning of the sitcom as well as the reason for its success and transformation into present form. Moreover, it outlines contemporary trends and predicts the future ways of development of the genre. The second chapter analyses czech television market and possibillities for new projects. It also mentiones results of all previous czech sitcoms and conditions for developing the new ones The third chapter is devoted to the development of the concept and the pilot episode. It describes the procedures which are used in Britain and USA and tries to apply them to internal conditions. This chapter also points out some problems of czech settings and offers how to solve these problems. The fourth chapter describes aspects of execution. It deals with suitable structure of the staff as well as proper casting and execution standards. This chapter is based on the third-part knowledges as well as on my own experiences earned due to a work on my own project.
Digital Cinema Distribution

Diploma work Digital Cinema Distribution covers the conjunction of digital methods of distribution of films to cinemas by only current standards for cinemas issued by Hollywood Digital Cinema Initiative founded in 2002 (Digital Cinema System Specifications 2005 - separate enclosure to the diploma work) in cooperation with European Digital Cinema Forum founded in 2001. The diploma work maps the changes and influences of digital cinema distribution on the form of movie production, security of movie distribution rights, daily operation of each subject in the current national film industry, the audience and at last the films - its content. The diploma work also offers specific examles and experiences how digital cinema distribution works worldwide. At the time of its writing, 2006 sees the digital cinema distribution as the alternative to the traditional distribution with the vision of its future in the film industry.
Audiovisual Media in Relation to the Hearing Impaired

The Master?s thesis ?Audiovisual media in relation to the hearing impaired? seeks to list the possibilities of the hearing impaired to perceive the audio part of audiovisual media by special visual means of communication, such as captions, interpreting with sign language etc. It describes the status quo and the legal basis of these means of communication. It considers the possibilities offered by new digital technologies and suggests the creation of a special AV center for the hearing impaired. The Master?s thesis is structured according to basic chapters: A description of the situation and needs of the hearing impaired, their relationship to television broadcasting, film distribution, DVD distribution and special website and an AV center for the hearing impaired. The entire problem is seen from the point of view of a person active in the audiovisual media. It tries to find resources and ways, that help to evolve audiovision with no barriers.
Film and Media /Communication Strategy of a Feature Film in Media/

This Master diploma thesis has an objective to explore the environment of Czech and international medias and to compare it with the needs of Czech feature film promotion. It describes behaviour of the Medias and its? recipients and the possibilities of using the knowledge for more efficient communication of feature films. The marketing communications resources are used in order to find out its applicability for a feature film. The feature film is defined as a product on the market, the issue of the feature film as a cultural product and it?s attributes is viewed through the marketing communication optic. For the development of an efficient communication strategy the knowledge of it?s means and recipients is necessary. It is important to describe Czech media environment, to define concrete communication channels and to make an attempt to explore their relevance and efficiency. The efficiency is connected to the reaction of focus groups; the thesis describes their definition and the research methods of the communication effect on them. Wisely chosen creative concept for different types of films, genres, focus groups or business goals is for an efficient communication indispensable. The thesis tries to describe how to use artistic features of the film for efficient communication effect. The topic of cooperation with advertising agencies in various states of the creation of the film is analyzed. It covers the issue of the feature film as a communication media itself and its potential in the communication campaigns (including the product-placement). Following part is dedicated to practicing the medial communication on the Czech market. The attention to the Czech films in the Medias follows and the means of influencing the Medias are described. The Public Relations topic is covered as a phenomenon of the most used mean of feature film communication. The phenomenon of publicity of film festivals as an independent communication channel is described. The description of internationally important film Medias follows. The thesis shall be helpful to the Czech producer of the feature film to discover which means of communication the media market offers to promote a feature film.
Development from the point of view of the Czech indepent producer

This work is focusing on the development of feature film projects made by independent producers. It defines the development of movies in Czech and European area. The work itself is divided into sections to represent different parts of feature film development ? for example: works on screenplay, legal aspects, marketing and financing. Except all these aspects there are mentioned differences between the development in a studio system as opposite to the development made by independent producers. The work also tries to reflect history of the development in the Czech Republic with attention to recent history (studio system). In this work is also possible to find a subchapter which is dedicated to television development focusing on television series as a related genre to film development.
