A comparison of sport equipment used in tennis training for children in large and smaller tennis clubs
BERANOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the use of training aids in the tennis training of both younger and older school children, in large and smaller tennis clubs. The theoretical part is focused on the processing of knowledge about tennis, the sports training of children playing tennis, as well as specific training aids used in tennis training and factors that affect tennis performance. Four tennis clubs were involved in the research. Some of the largest tennis clubs in the Czech Republic - TK Sparta Praha and I. ČLTK Praha - were deliberately selected for the category of large tennis clubs. From the category of smaller tennis clubs, the TenisCentrum Dobříš and F. H. TK Dobřichovice clubs were chosen by lot. In these clubs, observation of childrens' training units took place, which were compared and then showed whether training aids were used in selected clubs. These results are depicted using tables and graphs in the results of this work. After comparison, it was found that training aids were used in large clubs in 83,54 % of the monitored trainings and in smaller clubs in 78,13 % of trainings. The most commonly used tool was cones, which occurred in 71,43 % of the observed workouts.
Meaning of the term eco-frinendly behaviour to Generation Z
Beranová, Eliška ; Rosenfeldová, Jana (advisor) ; Shavit, Anna (referee)
The topic of ecology and eco-friendly behaviour is very current and often debated, as it is an issue that concerns us all and our future. The main objective of this paper is to find out what does Generation Z perceive as eco-friendly behaviour, both in the context of the behaviour of the respondents themselves and in terms of their interpretation and perception of corporate behaviour. The thesis comprises a theoretical section dealing with green marketing, green behaviour and related theoretical concepts, and a practical section that includes the research itself. The research was conducted using a qualitative method in the form of semi-structured interviews, which were then analysed using thematic analysis and open coding. The analysis of the conducted interviews shows that Generation Z mainly interprets the concept of eco-friendly behaviour as reducing their personal footprint, being led by waste sorting. In the context of companies, eco-friendly behaviour according to Generation Z then includes eco-friendly products and their packaging. However, it is also important for it not to be only a pose, ecology should actually be at the core of the company's business and its main philosophy.

Neophobia, neophilia, and dietary conservatism in birds
Beranová, Eliška ; Exnerová, Alice (advisor) ; Hotová Svádová, Kateřina (referee)
Birds` reactions towards novelty are demonstrated by two significant processes - neophobia and neophilia. These reactions often vary according to specific type of novel stimulus. Differences in levels of neophobia and neophilia enable birds to deal with potential costs and benefits arising from encountering a novel stimulus. Reactions towards novelty in birds may vary between different species as well as within them. In between species variability in levels of neophobia/neophilia may be related to dietary strategy and lifestyle. Differences in neophobia/neophilia of an individual bird may be related to sex, age, and personality. Long-term avoidance of novel food - dietary conservatism may follow the initial food neophobia. Again it varies a lot between species as well as within them. Key words: neophobia, neophilia, dietary conservatism, novel stimulus, novel object, novel food

Beranová, Eliška ; Žákovská, Karolina (advisor) ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee)
International Criminal Law as an Instrument of Environmental Protection The aim of this thesis is to explore the potential of the international criminal law as an instrument for solving global environmental problems, which would enable better implementation of international environmental legal norms. The first chapter provides an outline of core ideas and concepts, which originate from the understanding of the international criminal law as an ultima ratio instrument for safeguarding the international security and the health of humankind, i.e. the identical values that have been seriously threatened by the global environmental crisis at the beginning of the 21st century. The second chapter elaborates on the international environmental protection in times of peace, with emphasis on the non-existence of effective responsibility mechanisms, which would oblige states and private entities to adhere to general international environmental norms. For the most severe cases of failure to adhere to said norms, the future use of the international criminal law is being proposed. The third chapter comments on the international protection of the environment at times of war and armed conflicts, which is, contrary to times of peace, at least partly embedded in the existing norms of the international criminal law;...

Exploration, neophobia and dietary conservatism in tits (Paridae)
Beranová, Eliška ; Exnerová, Alice (advisor) ; Fučíková, Eva (referee)
Neophobia and exploratory behaviour are two processes applied in great measure in birds' reactions towards novel stimuli. The specific demonstration of these two processes may differ between different species of birds as well as within them. We compared neophobia and exploratory behaviour in two species of tits (Paridae). Adult Great tits (Parus major) and Blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus) did not differ neither in exploring novel environment and novel object nor in neophobia towards novel object near food. We have found great differences between juveniles of these two species. Juvenile Blue tits were more neophobic towards both novel objects. Age, sex and personality affected some differences within tested species. We tested whether there exist any differences in reactions towards novel food between and within species. We used red painted mealworm (larvae of Tenebrio molitor), house cricket (Acheta domestica) and aposematic bug (Pyrrhocoris apterus) as novel food. Adult wild-caught tits with plentiful experience with various feeds did not differ in reaction towards these types of novel food. In contrast hand-reared juvenile tits differed quite a lot. Juvenile Blue tits were more neophobic than juvenile Great tits towards all three types of novel food. We found dieraty conservatism, phenomenon...
