The thesis deals mainly with the possibilities of using the module nRF24L01+ for the wireless sound transfer, with as low latency, good reliability and sound quality as possible. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the device and its internal structure for wireless sound transfer, even in the case of transferring multichannel sound. The thesis also describes the sound digitalization process and its requirements for the final quality. The second part of this thesis is focused on the description of the wireless module nRF24L01+, including analyzing its internal structure and the way it works. A comparison to other wireless modules that are available on the market, including its advantages and disadvantages, is also provided. The third part of the thesis is devoted to the design of the described system for an electric guitar.
Monitoring of hazardous environment
Bilík, Martin ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis Monitoring of hazardous environment deals with possibilities of construction of monitoring device for the nuclear power station Temelín. In the first part are accurate requirements for monitoring device, individual risks and identify obstacles and opportunities how to overcome them. There is also description of basic options for measuring temperature and environmental monitoring. Using multi-criteria analysis was done the selection of all components, from which is possibility to construct the first development release of monitoring device. 3D models for each component and the overall design visualization facilities were created in the programming environment of Autodesk Inventor. The conclusion provides an overview of the financial cost of the equipment is assembled
RF channel simulation in the MATLAB environment
Daďa, Petr ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Štukavec, Radim (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is elemental description of DVB digital television and digitalization process of its terrestrial transmission according to DVB-T standard. The thesis characterizes in detail RF transmission channels used for wireless distribute of television. These channels ale mathematically described and their effect to OFDM signal is simulated in the MATLAB environment. It was created application with graphical user interface by this environment. Using simple setting of DVB-T and transmission channel parameters in the application user can simulate selective fading. Results of simulations with various settings are compared and analysed.
Usage of Busbar as a Source of Heat
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This study is dedicated to the use of heat energy from the busbar and its cooling system. The study deals with thermal analysis of the busbar, both using numerical simulations in SolidWorks and practical examination – warming of the busbar. We can verify the correctness of the simulation from the measured values. To determine the temperature profile of the busbar, it is necessary to measure the temperature at various points of the busbar by contact method using thermocouple or contactless method using a thermal imager. Measurements are performed at the busbar LIA1600 made by Siemens Busbar Trunking System Mohelnice. The aim of the study is to analyze temperature busbar, to suggest the most efficient method of heat recovery, and to make economic calculation
System for digital short-range wireless communication
Rébl, Miroslav ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tošovský, Petr (advisor)
This project includes the design of the System for digital short-range wireless communication. The methodology of the communication between net only one device type based system is proposed. The thesis describes system communication rules and used ways for protection of a correct transmission. Furthermore, the project descibes realizasion of the digital wireless communication with selected functions.
Unit for wireless transmission of electrical energy
Jelínek, Aleš ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to prove the practical applicability of the concept of contactless energy transfer using induction coils. The first part deals with the mathematical model and theoretical proof of the concept being able to work in practice and describes the process of detecting resonance of receiver circuit on transmitter side. Next chapter describes hardware solution of the experimental prototype. The last part contains measurement results of a coupling coefficient of coils and discusses performance and notable features of the prototype.
Dynamics of flight and control
Šabartová, Zuzana ; Tomášek, Petr (referee) ; Nechvátal, Luděk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of the equations of motion for aircrafts. The equations could be linearized by assuming the steady state flight with small perturbations so that we can use the theory of control. The result of the thesis besides a theoretic aspect is a simulation of motion response due to change of control terms position in MATLAB & Simulink for two particular airplanes.
Využití embryotransferu v moderní reprodukci dojeného skotu
Lužíková, Darina
Darina Lužíková, Use of embryo transfer in modern reproduction in dairy cattle The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the use of embryo transfer in moder reproduction in dairy cattle. The main subject of this work is transfer of embryos which are collected in the Netherlands from in vitro production and transfered to the Holstein recipients in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part is the thesis focused on the methodology of embryo transfer using embryos obtained by the classical way of lavage, including the preparation of donors. This work also describes the most common time and hormonal schedules used in the Czech Republic. The methodology of in vitro embryo production and oocyte retrieval using the ovum pick-up method is also described. The practical part evaluates the results of embryo transfers from the particular farm from December 2018 to April 2021.
Prevalence and risk factors of malaria among children under 5 years and the prevention and treatment regimens in the Kitase community of Ghana
Amponsah, Ebo Owusu
The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence of malaria in children under the age of five living in the Kitase Community in Ghana, as well as possible causes, preventative measures, and therapeutic approaches. The principal goals of the research were accomplished through the use of a hospital-based cross-section design, which required the gathering of primary data from women living in the Kitase township, which is located within the Akuapim South Municipal Assembly in Ghana. For the analysis, we utilised version 16 of the STATA statistical software. The chi-squared test and logistic regression were performed to determine the relationship between malaria incidence and household and environmental characteristics. Findings showed that malaria prevalence among under 5 children was 19.62% with a total of 46.15% with at least occurrence of malaria illness in the past three months. Also, ownership of Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) was 77.31%, and its use among 58.46% of mothers. However, Environmental characteristics such as bushes, waste dumpsites, stagnant water, and breeding areas around the house increase the odds of malaria infection by AOR of 1.885, 2.455, 2.197, and 2.060, respectively. Therefore, the study recommends that health authorities in the study area ensure the proper usage of LLINs (mosquito nets) through regular and effective education on preventive measures and ensure that good sanitation is observed in settlements.
Trypanosomes of green frogs (genus Pelophylax)
Poloprutská, Klára ; Votýpka, Jan (advisor) ; Modrý, David (referee)
Anuran trypanosomes are the first ever observed and described trypanosomes and Trypanosoma rotatorium from frogs of the genus Pelophylax is a type species of the genus Trypanosoma. Despite the early discovery, they are being neglected in terms of current descriptive studies when compared to other trypanosomes, although their diversity and prevalence in anurans are quite high. Anuran trypanosomes, which are significantly larger than their mammal relatives, display a high rate of polymorphism and pleiomorphism; however, without any explanations. Because of the amphibious nature of frogs, the vectors of anuran trypanosomes are both aquatic leeches and terrestrial bloodsucking insects. This thesis which aims at widening the scope of knowledge about this neglected group of trypanosomes focuses on trypanosomes from frogs of the genus Pelophylax found in Central Europe and the Balkan Peninsula. An overall prevalence of 71% was found in 981 individuals and a total of thirteen trypanosome species were detected, eight of which are new to science. Significantly higher diversity was found in frogs originating from the Balkan Peninsula; however, no host specificity of trypanosomes was detected. It was not possible to unambiguously prove the relationship between morphospecies and genospecies. On the contrary, I...
