Pham, Minh Tuan ; Čížek, Martin ; Hucl, Václav ; Lazar, Josef ; Hrabina, Jan ; Řeřucha, Šimon ; Lešundák, Adam ; Číp, Ondřej
Paper report on the frequency noise investigation of the Extended Cavity Diode Laser (ECDL), working at 729 nm. The ECDL will be used as an excitation laser for the forbidden transition in a trapped and laser cooled 40Ca+ ion. For that an Hz of sub-Hz level linewidth is required. We present the experimental design for linewidth narrowing and frequency noise analysis. The linewidth is first narrowed with a phase lock loop of the ECDL onto a selected component of an optical frequency comb where the frequency noise was suppressed with a fast electronic servo-loop controller that drives the laser injection current with a high bandwidth.\n

Automatic Machine Learning Methods for Multimedia Data Analysis
Mašek, Jan ; Chromý, Erik (referee) ; Vozňák, Miroslav (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
The quality and efficient processing of increasing amount of multimedia data is nowadays becoming increasingly needed to obtain some knowledge of this data. The thesis deals with a research, implementation, optimization and the experimental verification of automatic machine learning methods for multimedia data analysis. Created approach achieves higher accuracy in comparison with common methods, when applied on selected examples. Selected results were published in journals with impact factor [1, 2]. For these reasons special parallel computing methods were created in this work. These methods use massively parallel hardware to save electric energy and computing time and for achieving better result while solving problems. Computations which usually take days can be computed in minutes using new optimized methods. The functionality of created methods was verified on selected problems: artery detection from ultrasound images with further classifying of artery disease, the buildings detection from aerial images for obtaining geographical coordinates, the detection of materials contained in meteorite from CT images, the processing of huge databases of structured data, the classification of metallurgical materials with using laser induced breakdown spectroscopy and the automatic classification of emotions from texts.

Fulfilment of selected goals analysis of international organization ASEAN
Skalická, Anna ; Kochan, Jan (advisor) ; Volenec, Otakar (referee)
This bachelor thesis aims to measure fulfilment level of chosen goals, defined in foundation documents of international organization ASEAN. The main goal of this thesis is to measure the level of fulfilment of each chosen goal and find out, whether or not ASEAN functions effectively. Thesis is divided into three parts. First, it outlines international organization theory, applies it to the case of ASEAN and suggests some ways to measure effectiveness of international organizations. In second, practical part, thesis analyses fulfilment of five chosen economic, political and development goals. Finally, thesis measures the effectiveness of ASEAN's activity, using the findings from practical part. According to the chosen methodology, ASEAN seems to be a quite effective international organization, which is especially successful in the political domain. It has already achieved partial accomplishments in the development and economical areas, although still has broad improvement opportunities in the latter.

Changes of the notion document, source of information and information resource
Jeřábková, Eva ; Drobíková, Barbora (advisor) ; Jansová, Linda (referee)
Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zpracování historického a terminologického vývoje pojmu dokument, informační pramen a informační zdroj v knihovnictví a informační vědě. Zahrnuje i životopis Paula Otleta, jako předchůdce informační vědy. V první části práce jsou pojmy dokument, informační pramen a informační zdroj zasazeny do historického kontextu vývoje knihovnictví a informační vědy.

Psychological aspects of teamwork
Voskár, Michal ; Jarošová, Eva (advisor) ; Pauknerová, Daniela (referee)
Forming individuals into work groups is a common practice to effectively achieve given goals. However, people are not well aware of psychological aspects affecting group work. This paper introduces chosen psychological phenomena and summarizes their influence on teamwork into one comprehensive unit. Second, it examines emergence of groupthink based on Janis' model (1972) in a decision-making environment with high impact on subjects involved. The results confirm implications of Janis' model in practice and suggest that groupthink may have an indirect effect on team performance mediated by interaction within the group. The findings of this study indicate more attention should be paid to internal activities of the team in future research of Janis' model of groupthink.

Discrimination against women of fertile age on the labour market and its impact on the contemporary Czech economy
Zelinková, Renáta ; Štípek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the status of women in fertile age (25--35 years) when looking for a job on the Czech labor market. The main aim is to primarily verify whether there exists a discrimination against women of observed age group and further explore the economic context of this issue. The theoretical basis consists mainly of relevant legislation, theory of economic discrimination and selected experiments dealing with the statistical discrimination. This thesis also presents an analysis of costs associated with the issue and possible ways of its solution. The investigation itself and the data collection have mainly form of experiment which consists of sending fictitious CV's to the real job offers. Its overall results statistically didn't show any presence of discrimination against women. Nevertheless, it was more frequently discovered, in regions with high unemployment rate, where it reached up to 15 %. All of these facts are researched by means of the questionnaires and interviews. The majority of respondents agree that women are significantly disadventaged on the labour market mainly due to their maternity and paternthood. Effective solution of this issue probably lies in the facilitating the harmonization of work and family life.
