Shared transport for hospital staff
Lukášek, Ondřej ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Tesařová, Alena (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and development of a mobile application for the employees of Olomouc University Hospital, who face a shortage of parking spaces on the premises. The application addresses this issue through shared rides for commuting to and from work. It is implemented for Android and iOS platforms using the React Native framework, with Firebase used as the backend service. The main contribution of this work is the extensive user research involving over 1000 hospital employees. Besides the research and overall mobile development, this thesis deals with the actual implementation of the application using modern approaches. The resulting application is ready for imminent release and pilot operation in the hospital, representing an important step towards practical deployment in a real-world setting.
Mobile Application for Supermarkets
Habermannová, Adéla ; Kindlová, Dita (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a mobile application for supermarkets. This design is for the Android operating system and emphasizes the user experience, which optimizes by implementing new features. The result is a wireframe showing the placement of individual elements within the application.
Mobile App for Precise Navigation of Agricultural Machinery
Košák, Václav ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a field navigation and GNSS system for precise localization. In the field, it is advisable to drive precisely along the lines to avoid repeated crossings or, on the contrary, free spaces. Driving accurately can save seeds, sprays, fuel, and more. Field navigation manages fields, machines, etc. The goal of the application is to navigate along generated guidance lines. In addition to the mobile application, a GNSS system has been developed to receive precise signals with RTK correction. Test results show that with an accurate receiver, the application can be practically used for everyday tasks.
Controlling Mobile App by Voice
Cologna, Adam ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to explore, analyze, and compare available libraries for controlling mobile applications with voice commands. According to the thesis requirements, I solved the problem primarily for the Android operating system. I have considered not only libraries for keyword detection but also those using the speech recognition technology. For the selected libraries, I conducted accuracy testing for voice command detection and performance testing. To facilitate the integration of the chosen libraries, an application was developed in the modern programming language Kotlin using Jetpack Compose. The main contribution of this work is the experiments carried out and the resulting recommendations regarding the examined libraries. Among the most effective solutions were those from Microsoft Azure and the Android Speech Recognizer class. The main obstacles for each library were the distance between the speaker and the microphone, as well as distracting background music.
App Supporting Strength Sports Training
Klem, Richard ; Tesařová, Alena (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Training tracking using NFC technology
Blažík, Vojtěch ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the development of mobile application which uses NFC technology for training tracking and monitoring of gym equipment usage. The work summarizes the basic motivation and approaches to training and equipment tracking as well as NFC technology and mobile app development focused on the multiplatform framework Flutter. The resulting app is based on the client-server architecture with offline mode support and uses the identifiers of deployed NFC tags to identify the machine and exercises. The goal of this work is to show a functional system, which incorporates this technology in an unconventional way to achieve a higher user comfort.
System for Support of Short-Term Car Rentals Based on Carsharing
Vrtal, Petr ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a system for the transformation of an ordinary passenger car into a vehicle capable of sharing in the form of short-term loans. Vehicle rentals are completely unattended, which was achieved by implementing service applications in the form of an administration and user tool. The administrative application was created using web technologies, primarily Next.js and React. The customer application was implemented with the goal of high portability, and therefore its development was directed to mobile platforms using the React Native framework and the Expo tool. The vehicle is equipped with its own designed IoT end device in the form of a printed circuit board, capable of permanent wireless connection to the network based on LTE-M technology and MQTT protocol. The purpose of this device is to provide current vehicle data obtained by reading communication on the CAN bus, connecting to a standard OBD-II diagnostic port. An important part of the work was the execution of a series of tests of all sub-aspects of the implemented architecture, focusing mainly on reliability, resulting functionality and user-friendliness. The resulting system was tested in real operation and represents a way of non-invasively transforming a regular passenger car into a car capable of sharing.
Mobile Application for Scanning Nonograms and Solving It
Zobaník, Michal ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create mobile application for scanning nonograms from newspapers or magazines and allows its solving. The thesis describes the design of the application, its functionality and important parts of implementation. Image processing methods are used for detection of the nonogram. Number recognition is realized by created and trained convolutional network. Scanned nonograms are solved by using several logical rules and backtracking.
Mobile App for Reading Sensor Data
Homola, Jan ; Neuwirth, Bernard (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an application for reading sensor data. The thesis includes an analysis of the current state in the field of sensors, mobile applications and software tools. The practical part includes the design of a complete application including database schema, user interface designs and graphical elements of the application. Finally, the design and implementation costs are evaluated.
Interaktivní manuál v rozšířené realitě
Přichystal, Filip ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create mobile application, that provides interactive manuals in augmented reality. Users can create manuals by placing interactive objects in the space. These can further move, rotate and edit their information. The manual thus created is saved and user is able to view it in the application. The application was implemented in the Unity game engine. The thesis includes a description of the design of the application, the implementation procedure and its testing. Based on the testing, a possible direction for future development was made.
