Path Planning for Autonomous Vacuum Cleaners
Hranický, Jan ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Complete coverage path planning is a task of finding such path that passes over all points in given area at least once. This thesis applies complete coverage path planning to autonomous vacuum cleaner robots. Thesis summarises current deal of autonomous vacuum cleaner robots. But mainly it focuses on describing complete coverage algorithms. Selected algorithms are implemented using Java vizlib library.
Automatic generation of visualizations for operator panels
Průšek, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore advanced methods of creating operator HMIs for use in industrial automation. The first part of this thesis describes the process of creating a project in the TIA Portal containing a test PLC, HMI TP1500 Comfort panel and HMI Unified comfort panel. Universal faceplatess for common process elements and for sensors were created for both panels. The second part of the bachelor thesis deals with the automatic generation of HMI screens using the SiVArc tool.
Interactive Visualization of XML
Kubíček, Daniel ; Stryka, Lukáš (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is engaged in problem of visualization XML. In the first part, there is described XML language in brief and his basic characterization. There is resumed the possibility of XML usage, his advantage, XML syntax and logical structure. Bachelor's thesis also describes the problematic of reading XML in Java. The thesis is engaged in problems of XML visualization. There are summarized XML properties, advantages and disadvantages of available visualization tools in short. The Implementation chapter describes choosing of suitable programming language and development system. It briefly defines available modeling tools with individual reasons why they couldn't be used. The developed application contains two types of displaying XML elements, the basic type and the aggregation type. The program output is supposed to be practical and usable visualization tool, although many extensions can be made.
Visualization of relations between computers in the Internet
Cimbálek, Přemysl ; Malý, Jan (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) transmits the television signal over the TCP/IP family of protocols. Its advantages are for example that the transmitting is not only one-way as in the “classical” TV broadcasting, but it can provide feedback such as interactivity. There are also some problems which avoids development, for example low channel capacity of access networks. That is why new methods , for example how to get more efficiency in IPTV transmission, are proposed. The main task of this diploma thesis is to visualize tree structure of relations between nodes in the network, based on understanding of principles of the hierarchical summarization and IPTV transmitting. The nodes in the tree structure provide computing and summarizing of the data in back-way channel. There is the data from the end users in this channel. In the first part of this diploma thesis there is explained the principle of IPTV and its differences as compared with classical TV broadcasting. The part is also aimed for the supported services, advantages and disadvantages. There is explained the compressing data with the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 standards and problems with transport networks called “last mile problem.” To transmitting data IPTV uses Source Specific Multicast – every user connects to the multicast session with requested TV program. Feedback is provided by unicast. Feedback network uses the hierarchical summarization principle to reduce the data. This problem, connected with RTP, RTCP and TTP protocols, is in the work described as well. There is an international experimental network called PlanetLab mentioned in theoretical part of this work. Proposed structure of new protocol and applications including the visualization for IPTV broadcast, is tested in that network. In the practical part of this work there are discussed possibilities and methods for the visualization and data storage. Because of high availability and flexibility, there were chosen web technologies, such as MySQL for data storage. The tree model is executed by Java. The visualization is solved by web technologies, source code for visualization is dynamically generated by scripts in JSP (Java Server Pages). Graphical output is provided by the vector format SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) which is created for graphical expression on the internet and in the mobile phones. There were created interactive web application thanks its ability to cooperation with Javascript technology. This application visualizes relation-tree structure of nodes. In this work there are explained basics of all used technologies, there are also given reasons for chosen methods and formats. Examples and interesting parts of solution are mentioned as well.
Safety of manipulator model
Peňáz, Ondřej ; Stibor, Karel (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The work deals with the functional safety of machinery, in our case with the model of the 3D manipulator. The main contribution of this work is the detailed conduct a risk assessment in accordance with the valid legislation and the detailed design of safety components to meet the safety requirements. Protective measures are carried out by three steps. The work includes a description of the implemented measures, mainly change of the design and creation a SafetyTask for the PLC. Also the visualization for a touch panel was created. At the end of the work we had to verify and evaluate implemented safety measures.
3D Photo Browser
Horváth, Zsolt ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
Today's photo browsers are no longer only browsers. Everyday are invented new innovations such as sharing photos on the Internet, on social networks or 3D vizualization. Our aim was to test a new 3D views which does not yet exists, to compare with the existing and test good and bad sides of designed solutions. Application was created with the support of the four views, two existing and two new, using the OpenSceneGraph in C++. The solution is based on the principle of attraktors, magnets, that attracts each photo according to specified parameters. Application tried eight people. Everyone got their tasks, which had to do and after that complete the questionnaire. These tasks have been derived information on usability, intuitive and efficiency. The result showed that the existing solution are more efficient, but efficiency decreased with more the number of photos. The existing solutions were twice more efficient with smaller number of photos.
SCADA/HMI systems in process control
Sobotka, Lubomír ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Chlápek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to make sommary basic principles of automatic control in process and power industry and describe chosen software, which is used in process and power industry. Golf Ball Flight Simulation and Visualization
Opletal, Petr ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the simulation and vizualization of a golf ball flight. The final application is powered by the Unity engine and the PhysX physics library. The application includes the implementation of basic golf ball aerodynamics and advanced vizualization including simple gaming logic. The final solution can be used as a part of a cheap golf simulator. The text contains a theoretical introduction, existing solutions, basics of golf ball aerodynamics, an application design, the creation of courses and implementations. The conclusion of the diploma thesis describes experiments with the final solution and summarizes the achieved results.
