Fairytale

The diploma project Fairy Tale involves performative works with the poems as a diary record and its sharing. As part of my project, I offer my narrative poems written in a fairy tale language, as an act of sharing and therefore engagement with the readers and audience as participants. The poems were written spontaneously, reflecting a particular time in my life. They carry the sadness and suffering of the archetype the princesses and are an authentic description as well as an attempt to cope with a particular traumatic situation through different periods of time. The individual poems can serve as different perspectives on a given situation and reveal my ability or inability to look more consciously at unpleasant life situations. For me, the fairy tale world carries a stubbornness and underlines the painfulness of the illusions created; through it, I encounter stereotypical views of gender roles in the poems, observing my patterns of behavior and the sources of painful emotions. I associate the fairytale world of princes and princesses with the first great frustration and lies carrying confusion over the functioning, form and course of interpersonal partner relationships. I would like to dedicate my thesis to the sharing of intrinsic emotions in all their forms, mistakes, pains, smallness and strength and to interpersonal bonds, reciprocity, the ability to share, self-reflection, communication and sensitivity.

The Narratives about Jesus' Healing of the Deaf and Blind in the Synoptic Gospels

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of healing in the synoptic gospels. Illness and the suffering associated with it is a phenomenon that everyone encounters throughout their lives. We can look at illness and suffering from many different angles, and many scientific disciplines are studying this phenomenon. In my work, attention is focused on the meaning, meaning and perception of the disease from a human and theological point of view. The starting point of the work are excerpts from the synoptic gospels, which deal with the disease and the miraculous healing of the diseases of the human senses. Pericopes are divided according to the types of sensory impairments. Biblical events give us inspiration on how to perceive different life situations in accordance with God's purpose. These are model situations from which we draw lessons and inspiration in our life story. The introduction introduces the concepts of sin, suffering and illness from the perspective of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The next treatise then provides a view of the healing of the sick as a confirmation of the divinity of Jesus and the authenticity of Jesus' teaching. The psalms' rhetoric of suffering

Psalms have fascinated many for centuries. They are the prayers of the people of Israel, widely used in Christianity as well. The psalms are not only a source of inspiration but above all the concentrated experience of those, who call themselves Jehovah's worshipers. The concentrated experience of life presents many shocking testimonie about the relationship between man and God, especially if one is experiencing suffering and God becomes the only true source of salvation to a man facing a hopeless situation. The person refers to this source in his speech, and he recites his requests and his calls. This thesis attempts to examine and approach the mechanism of the speech of the Psalmist, who, in his crisis, reverts to the fact that he believes God will free him from this situation. The theologians Walter Brueggeman and Claus Westrmann contributed to the mapping of this mechanism by extraordinary insights, from which the author of this work also draws. In this thesis I describe the phases of complaints and praises, each of which consists of individual steps: addressing, complaining, pleading, motivation, cursing but also assurance of hearing, promise and praise. The connection between inner conscience and suffering: an attempt at basic clarification

The presented work focuses on the connection between conscience and suffering and the main basic clarification of the two. This is demonstrated using a specific example from Czech history, on the activities of Charter 77, in connection with the legacy of Jan Patočka. First, the work sheds light on ethical notions such as morality, morals, conscience, and suffering, as well as the ethical categories of good and evil. Then the activity, the meaning of Charter 77, is characterized as a practical example of working with the moral aspects of man. The thesis' major purpose was to uncover and examine Jan Patoka's attitude toward conscience and suffering as a result of fidelity to one's own principles in relation to Charter 77. The conclusion illustrates the importance of man as a human being with its values. Especially when it comes to pedagogical practice. The work is theoretical and in its central part explains the states of conscience and suffering in relation to man.

Pain, Suffering and Evil In Adolescent Life

The thesis describes pain, suffering and evil as well in the period of adolescence, as is evident from the title. There is described the development of pain treatment, its aspects and psychotherapy. This is followed by a psychological view of pain and a religion view of pain. In the chapter on adolescence the development of physical, mental, social and spiritual components followed by risk factors in adolescence. In the empirical part, the thesis focuses on qualitative research seeking to anter there search question "how do young people perceive the process of encountering pain and suffering in the period of early adolescence and chat mechanisms they use to cope with them".

Faith in a terminal stage of disease

This work examines faith development of people in the terminal phase of illness. The theoretical part of this work describes faith from the theological point of view and from the perspective of the psychology of religion. It also aims to characterize the meaning of terminal phase and focuses on dying patients. The practical part consists of interviews with dying patients situated in the Hospice of Saint Lazarus in Pilsen. The practical part also describes human approach towatds faith in the last part of their life. It addresses the importance of faith in this uneasy situation.

Euthanasia - differences of opinion from the viewpoint of high school students and people of the generation older

Euthanasia is still a topical and highly controversial issue in the Czech Republic. On the one hand - that is, the argumentation for - is perceived as a request for killing out of regret and get rid of suffering, on the other hand - the argument against it - is more associated with belief and fear of its abuse. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains researches from available sources, the practical part illustrates opinions of different age groups on euthanasia issues. The research was conducted using the questionnaire method. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find what they think about this the students of secondary schools, as well as their parents and possibly grandparent.

The Biblical View of Suffering based on the Old Testament Book of Job and Selected texts of Mesopotamian Literature.

In my bachelor's thesis, I focus on the Biblical view of suffering in the Old Testament book of Job and the reflected suffering of the pious in selected themes of the wisdom literature of ancient Mesopotamia. The Book of Job could be seen as an "extraordinary complicated"1 book and in my opinion, it seems to me even provocative in several ways. This dense text, which I consider among other things, to be a theological treatise, contains not only very deep thoughts but also scary, sometimes even dark statements, in which even a well- informed reader can easily get lost. Paying attention to this possible confusion the thesis simplifies the topics by clarifying the main line of thought or intent of the book. The intent is to reference biblical pericopes, which I found and documented by studying the literature and the Scriptures. The book of Job is not the only composition from which wisdom, refined by pain, speaks. The problem of suffering is one of the timeless problems of human existence. As a consequence of that, I searched for texts from the wisdom literature of ancient Mesopotamia, such as "Man and his God," "I want to praise the Lord of Wisdom," and "Babylonian Theodicy," and compared the book with above mentioned literatures. The Doctrine of Creation and Theology of the Neglected World: A Conversation with O. Clément, R. Rohr, N. T. Wright and the Pope Francis

This diploma thesis entitled The Doctrine of Creation and Theology of the Neglected World: A Conversation with O. Clément, R. Rohr, N. T. Wright and the Pope Francis aims to interpret the doctrine of creation and theology of the world as helping to rediscover the significance of today's neglected world as an inhabited and habitable place created by a good Creator who gave the world its eschatological orientation, which is renewed through Christ and in the Spirit. In this study I have a conversation with French Orthodox theologian Olivier Clément, the American Franciscan Richard Rohr, the British Anglican theologian and Bishop N. T. Wright and the Latin American Pope Francis. Each of them helps me, in a specific way, to understand in what sense the neglected world, together with man, can and does undergo transformations so that 'the world for death becomes the world for glory.' This perspective of creation which is eucharistic, universal, continuous and good shows how to achieve this goal.
