Apartment building

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for a newly-built apartment building in Opava. The apartment building is designed as a four-storey building with a basement. In the above-ground floors are located common house equipment and 14 flats. In the under-ground floor is located collective garage. Flats in the first floor have own terrace and flats in second up to fourth floor have balconies. The vertical construction system in the above-ground floors is masonry. Basement is projected as column system out of impermeable concrete. Horizontal bearing construction are made of reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. The roofing is desing as a one-layer flat green roof. Bachelor’s thesis includes project documentation for the construction.

Mixed-use building in Mikulov

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the design of a new multifunctional building in Mikulov. The work is based on a study in the subject AG035 - Studio of Architectural Creation 5. The proposed building is located in the town of Mikulov. The building itself is on a slightly sloping plot under the castle gardens, on Alfonse Mucha Street. The terraces in the courtyard are already on a very sloping plot. The building consists of 1 building with 4 floors and an attic. One floor is completely sunk into the ground like a basement. It is used for underground garages and cellar nurseries for apartment owners. The ground floor has a public function. There is a newsagent, a beauty salon and a wine bar, which also includes a wine cellar under the walls. On the 2nd and 3rd floors, housing units of various sizes are designed. The attic is unused. The construction system is combined. The foundation structure is made of a tub made of waterproof concrete, the inner load-bearing walls are made of ceramic fired Porotherm brick blocks. In the basement, reinforced concrete columns with girders are designed. The ceiling structures are made of reinforced concrete slabs with reinforced concrete wreaths. The supporting structure of the roof is made of a wooden purlin system.

Model of the block house in Revit

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to create a model of the ground floor in the software called Revit and explain the method of work in the program. This model is based on the real construction of a slab block which is located at Herčíkova 2, Brno. The created model was created on the provided documents from the 2018 course called Complex project and from the preserved original design documentation from 1969. The whole bachelor thesis is divided into chapters, which are named according to the individual modeled elements. Especially for the chapters Floor, Staircase, Railings, Doors, Windows, Annotations and Linking of projects, there is a more detailed description, analysis of problems, demonstrations, working with different types of families, inserting coordinate system and comparing reality and model in the project. Furthermore, in the bachelor's thesis there is a chapter Tips, which is used to simplify work in software Revit.

Detached house on a slope

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for a level-split family house. The building is located in the village Vnorovy on the plot with number 1382. The family house is designed as a two-storey for a family of four. The building has one underground and one above-ground floor. It is based on foundation strips and is equipped with a contact thermal insulation system. The construction system of the basement parts is made of lost formwork DEK, the ceiling is made of Filigree ceiling slabs. The construction system of the above-ground parts is made of HELUZ ceramic fittings, the ceiling is again made of Filigree ceiling slabs. The roof is flat. The main entrance is situated on the 1st floor to the vestibule.

Detached house with a workshop

Abstract The aim of the bachelor's thesis is solution of construction of „Detached house with workshop“ in the form of project documentation. It´s new detached house located on the outskirts of the village Dubňany on flat ground with possibility of connection to all engineering networks with total area of 1531,75 square meters. The house is without a basement and it consists of two storeys and flat roof. The use of the workshop is designed as a tailor´s shop with a sewing workshop. The unity of the facade is broken by the use of three different materials and large-format windows that allow connection with the surrounding landscape. A significant element is the stone cladding and overhanging structures, distinguished from the surrounding facade by a gray trowel imitating exposed concrete. Perimeter masonry is designed from HELUZ ceramic blocks, which are also used for internal load-bearing structures. The layout is divided by plasterboard partitions. The ceilings are chosen as monolithic reinforced concrete and are covered with plasterboard ceilings. The interior staircase is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete. The building stands on foundation strips made of plain concrete.

In this bachelor thesis I solve apartment building, which has four floor and cellar. The basement will serve as storage space with technical utilities. Above-ground floors will serve for housing. In the apartment building are 12 flats. In the ground floor are four flats, in the first and second floor are 3 flats and in the last one third floor are two flats. Flats in the third floor excel with terrace, which is covered by sunshade. Building has rectangular plan with dimensions 24,2 x 12,7 m and flat roof. Vertical structure is made of POROTHERM masonry system. Horizontal structure is made of POROTHERM prefabricated rib-and-filler floor. The building is situated in the centre of the village Horní Čermná.

Main objective of my bachelor’s thesis is elaborating design documentation for performs of structures for apartment building in cadastre unit town of Velká Bíteš with almost zero consumtion. Object is located on the edge of the town in built-up area designated for living in apartment houses, on quiet flat plot number 2051. Apartment house is located on the edge of the plot and no its volume does not disrupt original charakter surrounding buildings. Object is designed like apartment house with a cellar and 3 above-ground floor containing 8 apartment units. Ground floor contains 2 apartment units and the other two floor contains 3 apartment units in each floor. 7 apartment units are designated for 3 to 4 members of families, 1 apartment unit in ground floor is designated like a accessible flat. To ensure parking space for transport is necessary to built a parking place, pedestrian walkway and space for waste storage. Structural system is wall and masonry system made from clay bricks HELUZ. Ceilings solved in the same construction system like a ¨put together¨ceilings HELUZ MIAKO with addition reinfored concrete slab in area of cantilever balcony slab and area of stairs. Roof is designed like a warm flat roof.

This diploma thesis is focused on design and postprocessing of project documentation for two storey, cellular basement kindergarten in Měrovice nad Hanou. The target is to create operational dispositive solution which takes account of everyday operations. The operation consists of two class, a multipurpose hall, an operating section and a part of teachers. The buiding is designed from construction system Porotherm. It is built with warm flat roof and the building is based on strip foundations.

CONTAINS A COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION. THE BUILDING IS SITUATED IN THE TERRITORY OF SOUTH MORAVIAN REGION. THE LAND IS SLIMLY SLOW AND ITS TOTAL AREA 2274 M2. THE BUILDING HAS THREE FLOOR FLOORS. THE OBJECT IS BASED ON THE FOUNDATION STRIPS AND ARE ROOFED WITH A VEGETABLE FLOOR ROOF. VERTICAL CONSTRUCTIONS ARE DESIGNED FROM A WALL CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM USING CERAMIC BRICK BLOCKES. CURRENT CONSTRUCTIONS ARE COMPLETED WITH CONTACT INSULATING SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH ETICS PRINCIPLES. CEILINGS ARE MONOLITHIC REINFORCED CONCRETE SLABS. 19 APARTMENT UNITS ARE DESIGNED IN THE BUILDING. THE CAPACITY OF THE APARTMENT UNIT IS MOSTLY SINGLE IN MOST CASES. A PRACTICAL PHYSICIAN ORDINATION AND A SERVICE AREA IS DESIGNED IN THE PART OF THE OBJECT. THIS PART IS AVAILABLE TO THE WIDE PUBLIC. DRAWING PART WAS PROCESSED IN AUTOCAD.

The thesis is a project to newbuild a city community centre (house) with 2 above ground and one underground floor. The project is being processed in a stage for construction, with a focus on building and architectural design. Part of the thesis is building-physical and fire-fighting solutions.
