Database Performance Tester

Main goal goal of this project is to create tool for performance testing of relational databases and to prove his functionality. The tool is logically divided into 4 parts and every one of them can work independently. With the use of the tool we ca create, execute and evaluate test suites. Graphical visualisation of processed results is a part of the tool. The tool works with test suites that are executed on Raspberry Pi 3 B device and on well performing laptop. Databases that are tested with this tool are MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite.

MHC and KIR genotyping of macaques in HIV infection research

Modern research of viral diseases relies on genomic data processing. Not only is the sequence of a virus important, genomic sequence of specific receptors in affected organisms also plays an important role. In this paper, a novel package for processing of next generation sequencing data in infectious disease written using R/Bioconductor language is proposed. Functionality of the package, including implementation of advanced SSAHA algorithm for fast database searches, is demonstrated using genotyping of genes for MHC and KIR receptors of HIV positive macaques.

Reporting Features in the Microsoft SharePoint Environment

This Bachelor thesis refer to reporting as the main sources for decision making, from management point of view as well as company as a whole. The first part is analyzing the current situation mainly exporting data and creating reports manually in MS Excel. Second part brings improvement for the current process with using of Business Intelligence features which should make the process easier and efficient.

Tool for Querying SSSD Database

Tato práce je zaměřena na databáze a konkrétně pak na databázi SSSD. SSSD je služba, která poskytuje jedno kompletní rozhraní pro přístup k různým vzdáleným poskytovatelům a ověřovatelům identit spolu s možností informace z nich získané ukládat v lokální cache k offline použití. Práce se zabývá jak databázemi obecně, tak pak hlavně LDAP a LDB, které jsou použity v SSSD. Dále popsuje architekturu a samotnou funkci SSSD. Hlavním cílem pak bylo vytvořit aplikaci, která bude administrátorům poskytovat možnost prohlížet všechna data uložená v databázi SSSD.

Thr second part refers to choosen database systems and introcution to SQL language. The last unit describes the development of program solving sketched problems.

This thesis discusses informatik systems in companies, their technologies and new trends in hardware domain, used to simplify, speed up and streamline business processes. Consequently thesis deals with the extension of an information system in a real environment, aimed to getting more detailed data, processing and subsequent evaluation to adjustable reports.
