This bachelor's thesis focuses on internal communication and corporate culture of the communication agency Insighters. The main aim of the thesis is to examine the perception of mission, vision, and values by the employees of this company. Thesis deals with the influence of the length of employment in the agency on the mentioned phenomena. In the theoretical part, the concepts of agency, communication, and culture are first described. This is done to help the reader better understand the background of later defined concepts of internal communication and corporate culture. These concepts are theoretically defined in this thesis and introduce the reader how they should be properly set and understood in a corporate environment. In the practical part, the communication agency Insighters is first introduced, followed by an analysis of its internal communication and corporate culture. The reader is thus familiarized with formal and informal channels used by the agency, as well as its mission, vision, and values. Influence of the Czech News Agency's coverage on the content of sport sections of Internet portals Aktuálně.cz, iDnes.cz and Sport.cz

The thesis "Influence of the Czech News Agency's coverage on the content of sport sections of Internet portals Aktuálně.cz, iDnes.cz and Sport.cz" examines the influence of agency news on the production of sports sections of selected news servers on the basis of quantitative content analysis. In the theoretical part of the thesis, basic information about news agencies, the Czech News Agency (hereinafter referred to as "ČTK"), sports, sports journalism and online media is described. The concept of agenda setting is also explained and the analysed internet portals are briefly described. The practical part of the thesis presents, in addition to an explanation of the research methodology used, the analysis itself, which was carried out on a total of 1882 articles from all three servers for the period from 17th September 2020 to 30th September 2020. Based on the data obtained, all six research questions are subsequently answered. Five questions concern the correspondence of the published texts with the agency news and the claimed authorship, while the last one focuses on the authorship of the published photographs. Use of the Czech Press Agency for the purpose of propaganda

Diploma thesis Use of the Czech News Agency for the purpose of propaganda analyses the relationship between the Czech News Agency, state and its executive in seven time periods from the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918 to its dissolution in 1993, when it got replaced by two separate states - The Czech Republic and The Slovak Republic. The aim of the thesis is to delimitate the status and mission of the Czech News Agency in relation to the state and its executive, considering the legislation, in each of the seven chosen periods by conducting a qualitative content analysis of particular news issued by the Czech News Agency. With the use of the delimitation of the status and mission of the Czech News Agency in relation to the state, and the subsequent qualitative content analysis of the news, I demonstrate how this relationship was reflecting on the news content. For this purpose I use the critical discourse analysis in light of the discourse-historical approach. Besides the analysis of seventy news stories from newspapers, this thesis also includes a comparison of the two analysed periods of Prague spring and perestrojka at the end of the 80s. The bachelor thesis "Jaromír Jágr in ČTK Reports" deals with describing the development of sports news coverage by the Czechoslovak/Czech News Agency using the example of a specific significant sports celebrity. The thesis consists of a brief biography of Jaromír Jágr which describes the celebrity and explains why he has been chosen, followed by two main segments. The first segment describes the role of the Czech News Agency with special emphasis on its coverage of sports news. Also included are metadata important for the second segment, which the agency uses in the Czech News Agency's Infobank. The second segment analyzes news from the Czech News Agency's Infobank related to Jaromír Jágr. Based on these news the thesis describes the development of agency sports reporting from home, foreign and international contests. It pays increased attention to textual news reporting of the Czech News Agency, but also mentions other formats such as photographs, infographics, audio recordings and video recordings. The mentioned changes in news reporting are explained on the basis of the agency's annual reports from the point of view of the Czech News Agency itself.
The reflection of the minor sports in the Czech News Agency press service

The diploma thesis The reflection of the minor sports in the Czech News Agency press service deals with news agency coverage of sports which do not belong to the most watched in the Czech Republic: basketball, floorball, handball and volleyball. Author describes the development of the sports journalism's position within the journalism in general and also within the society in the theoretic part. He also deals with the particular types of the text and audio-visual news services which are produced by the Czech News Agency. The research was focused on the Czech minor sports' leagues as well as on other international or national competitions since June 2017 to April 2018. The news service is divided into specific categories (usually pre-season period, regular season and possible qualifying/relegation rounds or play offs and play outs) in the domestic leagues research. Author of the thesis compares the position of the individual minor sports among each other and also deduces the position of the minor sports compared to major sports like football or ice hockey from the quantified data. The bachelor thesis "The role of information centre in marketing a place on an example of agency CzechTourism" deals with the role of information centre and marketing in the area of tourism on an example of government organization CzechTourism. This thesis describes different functions of the agency, especially its marketing action in area of Czech Republic propagation, as a destination of tourism interest. Basic information about marketing in tourism area will be shown in the introduction. That is followed by Czech Authority of CzechTourism, which contains basic information about agency, agency-used communication form included, marketing concept, marketing strategy, swot analysis of destination, and other forms of CzechTourism marketing. Representation of CzechTourism abroad will be presented in conclusion, together with results of my personal research, which deals with questions about organization actions.
Media image of football in the Czech news agency press service in the years 2000-2010

The objective of this thesis is to describe and analyze the current media image of football that was developed in the first decade of the 21st century by the Czech News Agency (CTK). Using particular samples I am aiming to find the changes in volume, differences in topics and the presentation of the CTK's football agency news in years 2000-2010. The background of this work is mainly the analysis of agency created news, issued in a specifically chosen period of time and then archived in the CTK databank. The thesis only focuses on the text sections of the news. Pictures, audiovisuals and info-graphics were avoided as their possible inclusion would significantly exceed the requested scope of the project. Information can be also found on the internal point of view (based on an in-depth interview with a CTK sports editor specializing in football) and also external point of view (using the outcomes from the questionnaire survey between the employees from certain print, audiovisual and Internet media houses, who are some of the main users of sports agency services, especially those specializing in football). The topic of my master thesis is the valuation of Pixelfield, s.r.o. company. The introduction and the theoretical part present basic and advanced procedure with valuating a company. An emphasis is put on the financial analysis and on the financial plan. In the practical part I apply and analyze findings on a company, which makes business in digital marketing and IT. The primary objective is to apply the theoretical knowledge and valuate the company according to the official proceeding. The secondary objective is to confront the valuation with a real situation - that means the real amount of money that possible investors offer. Further I use other possible solutions how to valuate a company and again to confront it with a real situation.

The Master´s thesis is dealing with characteristic of a firm in competitive environment. The theoretical part describes various forms of markets, both perfect and imperfect competition. Furthermore, in this part will be characterized the concept of marketing mix, internal and external environment of a company, and also selected analyses from both these environments. The main part of the thesis is focused on three media agencies, which will be described in detail. Also, locations where these agencies operate will be described. Locations determine positions of these firms in the market and their respective competitive powers. In the analysis section, I will apply the Porter Five Forces model and the SWOT analysis on these selected firms. Subsequently, I will be dealing with advertisement since it is a crucial part of the marketing mix, very important for comparison of the agencies. The practical part will present a research and a questionnaire. The research is focused on the influence of advertisement on public. The questionnaire is dealing with cultural events. The thesis compares total revenues, analyses results of the investigation, and proposes ways that the selected agencies could achieve better position in the market.
