Principles of experiential pedagogy and its use in music lessons

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is primarily the principles of experiential pedagogy. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the reader to basic pedagogical concepts, the development of Music, and the term experiential pedagogy. The practical part is focused on working with primary school pupils in music lessons. The goal is to show some of the experiential methods that can be used to make music education more effective and fun.

The use of formative assessment in physical education in primary school in Písek

Title: The use of formative assessment in physical education in primary schools in Písek Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the current state of the use of formative assessment in the teaching of physical education at the second level of primary schools in Písek. To focus on whether the elements of formative assessment are applied in teaching and whether they are used purposefully. To find out whether and how the students's personality is being developed during physical education lessons. Methods: To achieve the objectives, a non-participant observation method and a non- standardized questionnaire was used and piloted. The observation method was used to capture the process of physical education classes with regard to the use of formative assessment elements. Subsequently, a questionnaire was presented to the teachers of the lessons in question and their responses were compared with the results of the observation. Results: It was found that formative assessment (assessment for learning) occurs to a very limited extent in physical education classes in the form of sub- elements of the formative approach. Bullying of teachers by pupils and solution options

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of bullying of teachers by pupils. This is a significant problem, but one that has often received insufficient attention in the literature. Nowadays, it is becoming even more relevant, and therefore this phenomenon has been discussed more frequently. The present paper is a literature search based on original empirical research on teacher-pupil bullying. The aim of the thesis is to provide an insight into the issues surrounding this form of bullying and to summarise the basic knowledge associated with it. The thesis also looks at possible solutions. The main purpose of the literature search is to sort out information about the frequency of bullying and its causes. Understanding the reasons may help to reduce the incidence of this phenomenon. The last part is devoted to possible solutions. Approaches that could lead to a reduction or complete elimination of bullying.

Motivation of pupils to study geography on the example of the Geographical Grammar School

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the motivation of pupils to study geography. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the motivation of students in geography at secondary school and to find out which factors have the greatest influence on their motivation. These variables are evaluated on the example of the Geographical Grammar School in the form of Focus group interviews with the pupils of the school. The bachelor's thesis is supplemented by information from the school management, obtained using a semi-standardized interview. The result of the analysis is that motivation is necessary in the teaching process in geography and it is important that there should be used elements of support for both external and internal motivation in the lessons.

Promoting pupil's self-regulation and stress reduction in the school environment

The thesis deals with stress and self-regulation of pupils in the school environment. The theoretical part deals with the general issue of stress, stressors, expression of stress, and the child's reactions to stress. It also defines self-regulation, relaxation techniques, specific support for pupils' self-regulation, and coping strategies. The theoretical section defines the concept of wellbeing and the development of pupils' socio-emotional skills. Finally, the issue established in the primary education system. There are also defined classroom lessons, community circles, and the cross-topic of the Framework Curriculum. The practical part is dedicated to stressful situations and self-regulation of pupils in primary schools in the Jihlava region, specifically identifies and describes stressors and self-regulation techniques of pupils in the school environment. It includes a qualitative research investigativním aimed at finding out information about supporting pupils in stressful situations and the tools used by teachers to reduce stress in the school environment. Adaptation of Pupils to the First Year of Primary School

The thesis deals with the adaptation of pupils, which is often associated in literature with kindergarten. It si a new topic for the first year of primary school. Therefore, the thesis focuses on describing the different concepts that are essential to understanding a child's adaptation to the first year of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis is arranged chronologically as the each topic comes up in the child life, i.e. from the definition of preschool age, throuth the issues of school maturity and readiness, enrolment and deferment, to the definition of the younger school age. A central chapter is devoted to the issue of adaptation and the causes of failed adaptation. For the empirical part of the thesis, qualitative research based on the case study research method was chosen. Several techniques were used for data collection. These include direct non- participant observation of pupils during breaks as well as lessons. The observations are supplemented by semi-structured individual interviews with pupils, a teacher and a class assistant. Another technique is a parents online questionnaire. Support options for personal well-being in the view of primary school teachers

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of the well-being of primary school teachers, and the possibilities for supporting well-being by the teachers themselves and the school management. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and research. The theory is elaborated into four chapters and summarizes the findings of the specialized literature. The first chapter presents the basic concept of well-being, including terms that were previously synonymous and are now an essential part of it. The next chapter is devoted to the topic of well-being itself. It offers a summary of existing theories, defines and describes the area of well-being, and conveys a view of teacher well-being. The third chapter collects information in the area of well-being care. It draws attention to the threatening factors that have an impact on the mental health and work capacity of the teacher, which include, for example, stress or burnout syndrome. It also conveys knowledge of how to improve well-being. The last chapter is devoted to the role of well-being in education. In addition to the teacher's influence on the well-being of pupils, it also pays attention to teacher's support in the school environment, i.e. from the employer to the employees.
