The Attitudes of Czech Viewers Towards Watching Foreign Audiovisual Works with Czech Dubbing on the Example of English-language Sitcoms
Krumphanzlová, Lucie ; Vodičková, Karolína (advisor) ; Poliaková, Karolína (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on viewers' attitudes towards watching foreign English-language audiovisual works in Czech dubbing and in the original version. Combining quantitative and qualitative methods, it examines the reasons for Czech viewers' preference for dubbed and original versions, the extent to which these preferences are exclusive, and whether viewers have a negative or positive attitude towards one or the other. The aim of the thesis is, among other things, to find out whether the level of English language knowledge is an important factor in the choice of the preferred language version and whether dubbing is less attractive for younger audiences than for the older ones. The quantitative data was collected via a questionnaire survey, while the qualitative part of the research consisted of group discussion interviews - focus groups. In order to obtain more specific data, the group discussions included a short clip from the sitcom Red Dwarf in both language versions, on which the participants illustrated their viewing attitudes. Due to its extensive focus, the research also mapped the viewers' opinion on Czech dubbing and its place in television broadcasting.

SIMPLY CLEVER PODCAST as an example of corporate podcast in the Czech republic
Nečesaná, Eva ; Ježková, Tereza (advisor) ; Vodičková, Karolína (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the current phenomenon of podcasting and its use in the commercial sphere using one particular show as an example. Podcasts are increasingly used by companies as a tool for marketing promotion or for communication with the media and the public. ŠKODA AUTO also publishes its own communication podcast, and its SIMPLY CLEVER PODCAST is the main subject of this thesis. The theoretical part defines the term podcast, describes the characteristics and history of this medium and the specifics of its use for corporate communication. This is followed by a methodological part presenting the different methods used in the creation of the thesis. The practical part is conceived as a case study focused on the research of the programme in order to present it in the most detailed way. First, the knowledge gained through participant observation is used to describe the functioning of the department responsible for ŠKODA's PR communication, whose remit includes the production of the podcast. Subsequently, detailed insights about the case under study obtained through its analysis and interviews with the creators are written. The practical part concludes with a comprehensive description of the SIMPLY CLEVER PODCAST, its characteristics, creation process and contribution to the company's...

Vodičková, Karolína ; Dittrich, Milan (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Name of the student: Mgr. Karolína Vodičková Title of rigorous thesis: Aciclovir loaded solid dispersions plasticized with methyl salicylate Consultant: PharmDr. Eva Šnejdrová, Ph.D. Rigorous thesis deals with the study of rheological, thermal and dissolution properties of biodegradable drug carriers. The theoretical part describes the properties of plasticizers, branching monomers and polymers derived from -hydroxy acids. In the experimental part, solid dispersions made from star-like polyester of lactic and glycolic acids, branched on pentaerythritol, plasticized with methyl salicylate (MS) in concentrations of 20 %, 30 % and 40 %, were prepared. Aciclovir (ACV) was incorporated as the drug. Thermal analysis of solid dispersions was performed by DSC. It has been confirmed that MS is efficient plasticizer of star-like polyester already in concentration of 20 %. The viscosity was measured at the shear rate range from 0,1 to 10 s-1 at three temperatures, and the data were analysed by Newtonian model. The viscosity for easy processing, drug incorporation, and application is achieved at 25 řC with the addition of 40 % MS. The dissolution test of aciclovir was performed in a water bath with an integrated...
