Preparation and characterization of hydrogels based on cationic biopolymer
Tesařová, Barbora ; Mravec, Filip (referee) ; Smilek, Jiří (advisor)
Presented thesis deals with the preparation and characterization of hydrogels based on positively-charged biopolymer and negatively-charged tenside. As an appropriate representative of positively-charged polymer was chosen chitosan, because of his biocompatibility and biodegrability, and N,N,N-trimethylchitosan, which was synthetised from chitosan in this diploma thesis. The final product of synthesis was characterised by SEC-MALS, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic rezonation. Interactions between these polymers and representatives of negatively-charged tensides, which are sodium dodecylsuphate and sodium tetradecylsulphate, were investigated. The main method used in this thesis was rheology, through it were investigated prepared hydrogels based on chitosan and tensides and also prepared microgels based on N,N,N-trimethylchitosan and tensides. The interactions between polymers and tensides have been proved.
Study on Reactivity of Cationic Biopolymer by Simple Diffusion Techniques
Tesařová, Barbora ; Kalina, Michal (referee) ; Smilek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on study of chitosan reactivity by simple diffusion processes realized in hydrogel media based on agarose. Mechanical properties studied by oscilatory measurements and the pore size were determined at agarose gels with the addition of chitosan as the main parameters influenced the transport properties. The main goal of this work is the investigation the reactivity of chitosan. Agarose is used only as a supporting matrix for the formation of a hydrogel. The state of the art is aimed primarily on the study of chitosan reactivity based on already published scientific papers.
Understanding Concrete Environment in Geographical Education Research
Tesařová, Barbora ; Řezníčková, Dana (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the phenomenon of understanding landscape among geographers in continuity with didactic purposes. The aim of this thesis is being reached by using a qualitative research methodology. The thesis builds on the initial investigation, focused on the question to which extend do pupils of grade 7th - 9th (upper primary school) are able to use their classroom knowledge on landscape in the field to understand/read concrete environment. In search for a geographical attitude while reading the landscape, four groups (two groups of geography graduates, geography teachers and a control group) were asked to find and come up with a solution in summing up the best way to perceive and read landscape. Diploma thesis consists of four parts. The first one presents definition of landscape and theoretical base to empirical research. The second one is description of my own field program and discussion of its aim and results. The third one describes qualitative research project including suitable methodology along with the description of the respondent choice, the structure of the questioning as well as the way of data collection and data analysis. The last one is focused on analyzing, comparing and summing up the results. Data have been worked up in qualitative analyzing software MAXQDA...
Field education and practical experiments in meteorology and climatology within geography
Hrubá, Kateřina ; Müller, Miloslav (advisor) ; Tesařová, Barbora (referee)
Field education and practical experiments in meteorology and climatology within geography Abstract By means of my theasis I have tried to prove that there are some experiments and activities for field education we can use to support geographical lessons focused on meteorology and climatology. First I describe the advantages and disadvantages of different organizing forms for the education. Next I mention the main benefits of field education, its structure and goals and I also remind its placement in RVP ZV and RVP G. In the next chapture I try to show differences between demonstration teaching and practical students work which are the kinds of methods using in practical experiments. The methods, which are used during teaching, are up to the schools according to their curiculum. In the last theoretical part I prove the meteorology and climatology education at schools is part of geographical education, especially in the first and fifth grade of 8 years grammar school or in the first grade of four year grammar school. As a part of my theasis I also include practical experiments and activities used in field education which are suitable for application of meteorology and climatology lessons. These experiments are tematically devided acording to their effects and trials they demonstrate. These are the air, a cold...
Evaluation of the Quality of the Tutorials Offered by the Centres of Environmental Education
Klímová, Tereza ; Matějček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Tesařová, Barbora (referee)
This thesis deals with quality evaluation ofr ecological educational programmes that can be used to supplement high school Geography curricula. It focuses on a selection of ecological education centers offering these programmes in Prague and central Bohemia. Only the centers that allowed for observing their lessons and seminars were included in the thesis. This thesis contains details about various of these programmes and their topics and aims, along with an analysis pointing at which skills these programmes are designed to develop. The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate what various educational centers have to offer as far as geography oriented courses are concerned. Next, the thesis strives to ascertain which activies in particular ecological programmes are geography oriented and what skills do they develop. Apart from other things, the thesis provides information about running programmes. Those are evaluated using structured charts. This thesis is a continuation of my bachelor's project where I checked offers of all available ecology education centres in the Czech Republic and searched for programmes that could be used when teaching Geohraphy. These programmes were sorted and noted in a chart - this could enable Geography teacher to choose the best prorgamme for their class. This thesis is...
