The impact of Organizational Culture on value creation

Dissertation analyzes the influence of organizational culture in company value. The theoretical part mapped existing knowledge about the organizational culture and its impact on company performance, and expanded model of organizational culture of E. Schein by delay factor. The practical part of the dissertation consists of research conducted on 59 companies operating in the Czech Republic in industry, services and construction. For this purpose, the following questionnaires were used: a profile questionnaire assumptions efficiency DOCS, typological questionnaire concept of success OCAI, typological questionnaire state organizational culture - profiled company orientation questionnaire, a questionnaire characteristics of a learning organization. Based on the research investigation it was found that if the company has a strong organizational culture, the content of which is consistent with the content of organizational strategy, the organizational culture has on value creation positive impact, especially on return on equity, among which was the organization culture found a statistically significant correlation. The basis of prosperity of any organization is yet close link between strategy and performance of an organization and can therefore be concluded that organizational culture affects value creation through corporate strategy.

The purpose of this Bachelor`s Thesis is to prepare a business plan in sport industry by creating a fitness club and decide if it is worth investing in this venture or not. In the first part there is the theoretical basis, terms, formulas and explanations which are necessary to make calculations right in the practical part. The main aim of the practical part is to create a business plan, make a market and competitor analysis that will help to determine the future strategy, and prepare financial statements. At the end, there is the evaluation of the business plan and appreciation of the acceptability of investing capital into it.

The purpose of this Bachelor`s Thesis is creating and evaluation a business plan of consulting firm for foreign entrepreneurs. The thesis consists of three parts: in the theoretical part are summarized and explained the main definitions and knowledge, necessary for treatment and evaluation the business plan. The next part is practical, which processes the actual business plan for 3 years, calculates its financial component, analyses the surroundings. The last part is devoted to evaluation of all financial statements based on appropriate economic indicators.

The thesis Application of Balanced Scorecard is focused on creation of strategic management system BSC for company Bayer, s. r. o. and its division Bayer MaterialScience. In theoretical part the system BSC and its four perspectives are introduced. In practical part the company Bayer, s. r. o., divisions, strategy and vision are introduced. There is a SWOT analysis of Bayer, s. r. o. and Bayer MaterialScience created and then the system Balanced Scorecard is applied. The thesis also includes system alignment of company and division. The system Balanced Scorecard is described by strategic maps that are included in annex.
Evaluation of business intention

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the investment in photovoltaic power station. The field of photovoltaic power stations in the Czech Republic has experienced a huge development in the past years and at the same time there have been a lot of changes since 2011, which had a negative impact on business in this field. This thesis deals with evaluating a business plan on the basis of the real data during three years of its operation and it compares it with the assumed results during the lifetime period of photovoltaic power station. This thesis uses some economic indicators for evaluating this investment and they show the efficiency and added value of the project. The evaluation is demonstrated on two possible scenarios. The crucial part of this thesis is the evaluation of the most probable scenario of the modified Bill No. 180/2005 Coll. and the next one is from the former point of view with the 26% withholding tax during the whole lifetime period of the power station. The outcome of this thesis should be a decision of the investor if it is good for him to continue in the project or not.

International companies come in on contact with a lot of different national cultures. Especially with own co-operators(staff)and external partners (customers, supplier) of local companies and organizations, therefore member of foreign cultures, whose merits preferences and standard behaviours are different. It is possible to conceive international problems of leading as having a command of multicultural context and forming of corporate culture.
