Analysis of Human Resource Performance, Measurement and Planning in a Selected Company

The diploma thesis is focused on the use of personal resources in the team Support of applications belonging under the Service Desk in a selected company. The task is to analyze the current state and to propose how to extend a report on a quality and demanding requirements of selected applications. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and methodological part, where basic information on human resources and their management is presented, and an application part where the selected company is presented and analyzed the current state of utilization of human resources. The comparison between the data from the report and the facts is based on observations and interviews with employees. Benefits of this work are better data in the reports, which determine the possibility of acquiring human resources to the team. In the future, the information obtained will serve as a basis for setting up effective workflow management in the new system. At the end of the thesis, an overall evaluation of the thesis is made, the solution and the prediction of the further development of the human resources utilization in the selected team are proposed.

Labor camps in the Jáchymov region in interdisciplinary history - geography relations

This bachelor's thesis deals with student's ability to work with selected types of historical and modern sources to navigate them in chosen space. The first part of the thesis introduces the oral history method, which is demonstrated here through the testimony of eyewitnesses. Furthermore, the characteristics of distance education in the context of the recent covid-19 pandemic are elaborated. In the second part of the thesis, a worksheet is presented, which was supplemented with one additional source in the research part, based on the evaluation from the pilot investigation, but the character of the tasks was maintained. The thesis concludes with a summary of the results obtained in the research of this thesis and also presents the limitations of the research form used. Estate maps and their importance for the study of historical landscapes and serfdom towns

The dissertation deals with the knowledge and reconstruction of the historical landscape of the early to the upper modern period using cartographic sources, maps of the estates from the 18th and the first half of the 19th century, which have not been exploited so far. It seeks answers to the questions of what changes occurred in the landscape during this period and documents them, especially on the example of the serfdom towns in Bohemia. The dissertation is interdisciplinary in nature. It tries to contribute to research in historical geography and to fit thematically into the concept of studying historical landscapes (from identification and documentation to understanding the meanings of their transformations). However, it also uses the approaches of historical cartography in the research, analysis and processing of hitherto neglected cartographic sources - sources of information about the past. Attention in the study of historical landscapes and urban history has so far been paid rather to the younger period from the mid-19th century onwards, mainly because of the availability, mostly wider possibilities of processing the necessary historical sources (topographically more accurate old maps and plans of comparative character) and the accuracy of their narrative value. Digitalizing Czech television broadcasting - projects and reality

This diploma thesis deals with digitalizing of terrestrial television broadcasting in Czech Republic. It focuses on the process of changing completely the way of watching TV in Czech households. It maps technological change that digital broadcasting brings to use of television, sociological aspects of change- overand historical progress in thinking of digitalizing Czech Republic. Czech Republic needs to join European Union in all aspects, and digitalization of terrestrial television broadcasting is one of them. Czech Republic accessed to convention of international coordination of frequency spectrum and changed the law according to it. Unfortunately problems in communication between all of the concerned organizations related to digital broadcasting caused present problem with administration of concession and incompetence to fill up the Technical planof change-over to digital broadcasting. Law and conceptions of state politics are implicit parts of the thesis. Initially the thesis should have compared original projects of digitalization concepts and reality and show it on case of new digital programs. More than a year after new programs got their long dreamed concessions, half of Czech television spectators can watch just digital programs of Czech TV and Nova. Stony routes in the Broumov walls and their importance for identity formation of landscape and region

The thesis deals with the analysis of current condition and heritage of old stony routes in the Broumov walls. These routes were built from variously sized sandstone blocks of local origin. The routes are specific for the area of interest and they have their long history. The aim of the thesis is, with the example of the Broumov walls, to discuss the importance of the old routes as specific historical landscape structures and local heritage for shaping of the identity of the region and its specific character. Regional identity, heritage and historical landscape structures belong to key concepts introduced in the theoretical part. Significance of the routes as a specific kind of the heritage and an integral part of local cultural landscape is discussed. In the empirical part of the thesis, results of a partial inventory of stony routes in the Broumov walls, which have been done during research, are introduced. The result is shown in attached maps. The inventory was focused on classification of the routes by degree of conservation of the original character and by ways of use today. The thesis also deals with the research on perception of route heritage and contemporary ways of its use by local authorities. The town of Opočno in topographic sources of the 18. and 19. centuries

TŮMOVÁ, M., The town of Opočno in topographic sources of the 18. and 19. centuries, diploma thesis, The Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, 2014, 191 p., 11 app. The topic of the diploma thesis is to capture the town of Opočno and its landscape in selected significant topographic sources of the 18th and 19th century. The main aim is to compare relevance and value of the selected significant sources and to assemble a picture of the town's landscape in the past. An introduction integrates the topic of the diploma into various historic regionality and covers a brief history and description of a state of the town of Opočno. The thesis is divided into several chapters according to the selected sources. We paid particular attention to cadastral documentation of the first Military Survey and to Stable cadaster that includes written and cartographical materials of the town. These sources are comparable because of the diverse time interval and the different purposes of origin. In order to provide thorough understanding of the studied sources and the region, the thesis includes picture elements, supplements and samples of historic and contemporary maps. In terms of the selected sources of municipal administration, the objective of the thesis is to detect whether the municipal documents contain relevant information and how much of it. The thesis is divided into chapters according to the sources that were harvested. The introduction covers the brief history of Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The main body focuses on the changes of the urban area in terms of the selected sources and considers relevance of the sources in understanding of development of the urban area. The municipal maps are enclosed in order to demonstrate the development and the changes and to provide a better orientation.
