Human resources shared services centres
Lukášková, Kamila ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor) ; Sycha, Martin (referee)
Human Resources management belongs to one of the most important parts of management in general. It's mainly because of immediate connection with the company's most valuable assets, which are the employees. Human Resources management, as well as roles and competencies of human resources professionals, has been significantly developing during last years. Those are not responsible only for administration anymore, but should be able to execute also other roles in order to add real value to the business. For this thesis Ulrich's Roles model was used to give an explanation about four of the most important roles of Human Resources. It's common, that the theory is different from reality. In practice, we could find a lot of Human Resources professionals, who are totally overloaded by administration with no time for strategic tasks. Here the shared services concept could be seen as a fitting tool. This reason would be probably not sufficient without other economic impact on the company as cost saving or efficiency increasing. Those two reasons are usually the most required one and in case implementation is done successfully, companies could save up to 50 % of total costs. Some companies have also made dramatic improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of HR through the introduction of shared services. The company...

Adult Education and Social Change. Analysis of Interdependence and Relationship between Changes in Society and Education
Sycha, Martin ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Machalová, Mária (referee) ; Palán, Zdeněk (referee)
Vše se mění. Lidská společnost není a nikdy v historii nebyla stabilní a rigidní strukturou. Disertační práce vychází z charakteristiky sociální změny a teorií vývoje společnosti a jejích transformací. V druhé kapitole se pak v teoretické rovině zabývám otázkami oboustranného působení sociálních vlivů a vzdělávání. Rozlišuji zde čtyři odlišné přístupy, skupiny autorů a jejich...
Comparative study of alternative pedagogy and adult education
Erban, Ondřej ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor) ; Sycha, Martin (referee)
Alternative pedagogy and adult education are two independent educational disciplines. They differ in the object of education. In altemative pedagogy it is child who receives schooling while in adult education the one being schooled is an adult. This text maps the history of both of these disciplines as well as their didactic aspects. Subsequently it compares both of these courses of study. In its first part, the work discusses the origins and evolution of a1temative pedagogy and adult education together with the most influentia1 representatives of these disciplines and movements, which have originated within these disciplines or have affected them significantly. This text also deals with interdigitation of the two disciplines over time. In the second part of this text I engage in discussion of didactic principles and didactic methods of a1temative pedagogy and adult education. Compare them, examine their analogy and on the basis of that, I try to provide an opinion on the possibility of mutual collaboration of these educationa! disciplines.
