Educational Programmes in Rehabilitation Classes of Special Primary Schools

My thesis wil be focused on the problems with education of children with severe mental retardation in the rebahilition classes of the special primary school. The introduction will pay attention to the characteristics of the children with severe mental retardation, including the case report. Then there will be explicated the specifics of the rehabilitation classes; their organization and therapy. I will focus on the actual legislative regulations. The thesis will be aimed on education of the sensible pedagogy at the rehabilitation classes, expecially on senses tools usage mapping. As an outcome there will be an overview of some tools for senses perception progress, which turned out through tuition at rehabilitation classes, and further possibilities for their exploitation.

Annotation The thesis aims at analyzing the service of Assisting Charles University Students with Special Needs from the point of view of all the parties concerned. It exploers both weaknesses and strenghts of the service by means of analyzing interviews with Charles University members of staff, who represent the service in the Office for Students with Special Needs, with users of the service, and particularly with its "providers" or assistants themselves. Proposals to solve possible problems are included. The thesis is based on the results of a questionaire and an analysis of interviews with 33 assistants and 10 users of the service. Parental Involvement in the Education of Children with Intellectual disabilities with Regards to the Implementation of Inclusive Education in Primary Schools in Prague

This research focused on parents' involvement in the education of children with intellectual disabilities in mainstream primary schools. The subjects were parents of children with intellectual disabilities in mainstream primary schools in Prague. Five parents and seven teachers of children with intellectual disabilities were selected for this study. After the selection process, the subjects' views were collected through a semistructured questionnaire. Seven teachers of children with intellectual disabilities whose parents responded to the questionnaire were interviewed by use of a semi- structured interview. The Prevention of Specific Breakdowns in the Learning of Children with Interruptions in School Attendance

Children's school failures is one of the basic themes of pedagogical and psychological literatuře. Experts realize that remedy of learning faults cannot be oriented only at their expression, but that is necessary to watch chilďs education in the whole and in complexity of the problém. All the signs of the learning failures evoke no success in the pupil and they will project in his school work. They disable him to understand teacheťs instructions, to do ordinary tasks and to work in optimal rate. Unsuccess in the school work project on to chilďs psyche, influence his self-regard, they can evoke feelings of fear and aversion to the school work. Failures in learning influence even the situation in the family of the child. Iťs obvious, that the best remedy of the specifíc learning disability is to prevent them and so the research is recently aiming on the prevention the learning failures in the pre-school age. In this age can be eliminated particular deficits in the evolution of the child, which could be a sign of the start of the learning failure after entering the school. The Knowledge of learning failures' signs and their remedy should come to awareness of the teachers and parents.
