For measurements in the field system was used by the Field-Map, the biometric characteristics are measured stand (the stem thickness, height of trees, the height of the deployment the Green Crown, Crown projection, the location of the trees in the shade), the position of the dead wood and from them created situational maps of the areas. The results obtained will serve primarily as the basis for the creation of the nature of the middle management in pine stands in a similar site and stand conditions.
Analysis of selected aspects of the breeding biology of Great Crested Grebe (\kur{Podiceps cristatus})
MARKOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of the thesis was monitoring abundance and distribution of nests of Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) during the season on the Naděje fishpond system. Further observation included factors that could affect nesting success of the Great Crested Grebe. Attention was concentrated on Wild Duck (Anas platyrhynchos) which is bred by man on the fishpond system and might negatively affect nesting success of Great Crested Grebe. Part of this study was the detailed observation of selected pairs during the nesting season by using camera traps. Temperature measurement in the nests was done by temperature data logger. The investigation was realized on the Naděje fishpond system near the village Frahelž. The research took place from the 14th of April to the 28th of October in 2015. In 2015 were found and investigated 37 nests on the Naděje fishpond system. On the fishpond Skutek were monitored 34 nest, on the fishpond Láska 2 nests and on the fishpond Rod only 1 nest. Majority nests (30) were found on a free surface and 7 nests were situated in the bushy vegetation. Parameters of 111 eggs were obtained altogether. On the fishpond Skutek were found 100 eggs, on fishpond Láska 8 eggs and in the only nest on fishpond Rod 3 eggs. Using the camera traps during the observation proved negative effect of wild duck on Great Crested Grebe nesting. The nest was destroyed group of wild duck. The maximum temperature in the nest reached 33,8 °C.
pH sensitive fluorescence probes
Marková, Kateřina ; Obruča, Stanislav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to suggest the suitable method for measuring bacterial cytosolic pH in bacteria strain Cupriavidus necator. Fluorescent microscopy was chosen to obtain scan of bacteria and time-resolved fluorescence was chosen to obtain a calibration curve. BCECF-AM was used as a pH-sensitive fluorescent probe. It was suggested that the external calibration is more suitable than internal one for the prokaryotic type of cells. Bacteria H16 shows a long fluorescence lifetime only on the granules containing PHB, while in PHB-4 the longest fluorescence lifetime occurs randomly throughout the cell.
The population of the European beaver (Castor fiber) in PLA Český les
MARKOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this study was monitoring of European beaver in a defined area of the central part of the PLA Český les in order to determine size of the population and its food demands. The monitoring took place in December 2013 and January 2014. The data were obtained during walks along the shore lines of watercourses and areas located in the monitoring area and had form of GPS location recording beaver tracks and signs. These data were transferred into the geographic information system, where individual territories of beaver families were defined using kernel density estimates. The total number of individuals in the monitored area was estimated based on the number of defined territories and the average number of individuals per one family. In total, 15 territories comprising approximately 81 individuals were defined. The most commonly found type of housing was the castle. Beavers used mostly trees genus Salix (37,86 %). Other frequently used genera of trees were Betula (29,04 %), Alnus (17,70 %) and Populus (9,73 %). Most of the trees that were cut had the diameter of 2,6 6 cm (30,45 %) and of 2,5 cm (20,96 %).
Subjective Perception of the Life Change of Persons in the Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program in České Budějovice.
MARKOVÁ, Kateřina
The thesis focuses on the subjectively perceived changes in the lives of persons in the methadone maintenance treatment program, on their experiencing of the changes and subjective judgment of the treatment. The topic is treated according to the Bio-Psycho-Socio-Spiritual Model of Addiction. The theoretical part deals with the quality of life and the subjectively perceived well-being and defines six dimensions of well-being on which the practical part of the thesis is based. It also elaborates on the Bio-Psycho-Socio-Spiritual Model of Addiction in the context of the methadone maintenance treatment. Moreover, it describes the factors in life change and the motivation to change. The last theoretical chapter focuses on the opioid substitution treatment as such and more specifically on the methadone maintenance treatment. The practical part presents the results of the research. The aim of the thesis is to analyse how the persons in the methadone maintenance treatment program in České Budějovice perceive life changes. A qualitative research was chosen for that purpose. The data were obtained through the technique of narrative interview. The research group consisted of four respondents who were on the methadone maintenance treatment program. The results show that the subjectively perceived changes in the lives of the persons in the methadone maintenance treatment program relate to five out of six dimensions of well-being. No changes were recorded in the dimension concerning the sense of life, in other words, even after a several month methadone maintenance treatment these persons perceive no goal of their lives. Important consequences for work with these persons can be drawn from that, especially for therapists in opioid substitution centres, who should develop spirituality aspects of persons.

National Accounts of the Czech Republic and Drug Production, Trade and Consumption as their Components
MARKOVÁ, Kateřina
The thesis deals with the topic of the national accounts of the Czech Republic and drug production, trade and consumption as their components. Drug issues have recently been a current topic even in the scope of the national economy of the Czech Republic. National accounts of the Czech Republic are compiled according to the international standard of the European system of national and regional accounts ESA 1995. It states that economy must be described fully, i.e. not only legal, but also illegal economy is to be described. Drug production, trade and consumption are components of the illegal, non-observed economy. The estimates of illegal activities concerning drug production, trade and consumption were not included in the national accounts. This is to be changed in 2011, when, according to the requirements of ESA95, the national accounts of the Czech Republic are going to be revised. The major goal of the thesis is to create a coherent material, which would illustrate drug issues from the macroeconomic perspective in the way they will be described in the system of national accounts of the Czech Republic. In the thesis I focus on individual drugs and their position on the drug market, familiarise readers with illegal economy in the way it is dealt with in the national accounts and I also cover methods for estimating the drug market for the system of national accounting.

It is a problem, spread all over the world, at has always existed and it will unfortunately always exist. Delinquency is more serious when it is linked to juveniles because children are our future. The world has been very hectic and we have little time left for children and require a lot from them. We, our society and their environment influence their attitudes. My thesis deals with how are juveniles influenced and how we can fight against it. The objective of my thesis is to outline the development of juvenile delinquency in Strakonice district and to find out about the opinions of professionals who deal with juvenile delinquency and related problems. In the theoretical part I deal with criminogenic factors, which influence juveniles, juvenile delinquency specifics, the highness of criminal responsibility limit, legal measures according to the Act No. 218/2003 Collection of Law, and the significance of prevention and development of juvenile delinquency in Strakonice district. To find out about the stated objective I chose the secondary data analysis and the qualitative research, using the method of a structured interview with open questions. I questioned eight professionals, working in the branch of juvenile delinquency in Strakonice, about their opinions and experience knowledge. During the interview I asked ten questions which were linked to general juvenile delinquency and its prevention. The stated objective was fulfilled. The results of the thesis might be useful for the creation of prevention programmes. On the basis of the research results I would pay attention to a better acquaintance of professionals with functioning prevention programmes.
