The firt part analytzs theoretical backround which is needed to process for preparation of other parts. The second part is analytic, includes informations about company and there is aslso covered the motivatial system of company. The last part is practical and includes a few proposals of improvements of motivation system.

Truth at photojournalism: Digital image manipulation as a means of persuasion

The bachelor thesis Truth in current photojournalism: Digital manipulation of images as a mean of persuasion analyzes the digital manipulation of news photography used in media in the emphasis on the persuasive function of the manipulated photographs. In the first part of the thesis, the main focus is mainly on theory. It describes the difference between analogue and digital photography, deals with the term of postphotography, depicts objectivity in photography, covers with the role of photography in media, defines conception of photographs as true medium as a cultural construct. It is also devoted to the decription of the terms of persuasion, manipulation of both analogue and digital photography, ethical aspects of editing of photographs, demarcates the limits of objectivity in photography and it deals with the relationship between the manipulation of the images and the manipulation of memory. The third part of the thesis is a detailed interview with Jan Ždimera, who works as a press photographer in ČTK. The interview concentrates on manipulaton of photography, ethics of photo manipulation and on correct work of press photographers and image editors in media.

I Abstract (in English): Diploma thesis Visual lifelogging: automatic memories and picturing ordinary deals with the topic of visual lifelogging in the context of current visual culture. It describes visual lifelogging in the context of photography and as an amplification of human abilities. Diploma thesis deals with history and lifelogging as a whole and it describes its forms, describes the tools of lifelogging and it deals also with topics of surveillance and its contrary, sousveillance. It explores visual lifelogging mostly from the photographic point of view and it deals with the use of different technologies to augment human memory or other human abilities.

The diploma thesis Medium in the process of change: photography from smartphones and other mobile devices in the context of professional photojournalism analyzes the use of smartphones and smartphone photography in current professional photojournalism. In the first part of the thesis, the main focus is mainly on theory. It describes the pictorial turn, current trend in vizualizing information and the retreat from text n behalf of visual information. The second part is devoted to the description of the historical approaches to photography and the ganges of the photography from analog to digital to smartphone photography. The third part of the thesis focuses on description of smartphones and tablets and it also focuses on the description on smartphone and tablet applications for editing and sparing of pictures. The fourth part analyzes the use of smartphones and smartphone photography in media by media professionals. It focuses on the use of smartphone photography by war photographers and by other professional photographers in distant countries, natural disasters or at sporting events. The last part is devoted to detailed interviews with professional photojournalists Tomáš Tesař and Milan Jaroš who have professional experiences with smartphone photography.

Mediation

This bachelor's thesis attends to the phenomenon of workplace mediation and related aspects. In the first part the notion of conflict is theoretically defined, together with a brief study of the historical development of this term and its understanding. The typology of conflict is offered, and, consequently, the question is raised whether every conflict has to be perceived as implicitly negative. Second part deals with the possible approaches to conflict resolution. Third part studies the history of mediation in the Czech Republic and abroad, enumerates the common techniques of mediation, its guiding principles and constituting phases, and focuses on mediation as a form of alternative dispute resolution. Following chapter of the thesis examines the role of parties concerned in the process of mediation. Final chapter concludes by suggesting possible solutions to a workplace conflict between two individuals, or between and within teams. The aim of this thesis is to present the reader with a detailed overview of the technique of mediation and suggest it as an efficient tool of conflict resolution.
